Stayed here in March 2023 while in town for a funeral. One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. There are so many better options in the area. DO NOT STAY HERE. Our bed did not have a fitted sheet, just a top sheet directly over the mattress. The water from the sink and shower smells like sewage. The vent in the bathroom has mold all over it. The towels are thin, crusty, and smell like mildew. We had misleading information regarding check in - we were told two different times by the front desk. Worst of all, we paid $15 a day just to park in their lot, even though we were guests. I have never experienced that at any other hotel, unless it was valet. On the second day there, our car was broken into in their lot in broad daylight. You’d think they at least would have someone keeping an eye on the parking lot if they are going to charge you to park. Upon check out, we were told that we would be getting reimbursed for parking since our car was broken into. That has never happened. We never even got a call from the manager, like they promised.

Nice clean rooms, good food. However Management needs to work on looking over the property for maintenance. The pool, fitness center and rooms could use some work. Pool water wasn't as clean as it could be, had bugs and leaves. Right away a group of two families huddle around the jacuzzi smoking while holding an infant and two children jumping and splashing. The fitness center needs a treadmill and bench fixed. And found out our room's refrigerator door doesn't close all the way, not keeping the cold in, also the mattress is worn out, sinking in. Otherwise, great relaxing time!

One of the Worst hotels one can ever stay, during our stay we were wiping the bathroom floors hence the water from shower was coming out when we took our bath. useless hotel , even more useless customer service. The receptionist told us, manager will come back and address this issue, but we never heard of them. Horrible stay, it was a nightmare. Don't even want to start the breakfast experience btw, which was included in the bill, the plates, glasses were smelling like fish, when we complained about it to the waitress, she behaved very rudely, and said "its like that , if we don't like it, we can leave." She was behaving like she was doing us a favor by serving. But she does not realize her work is sloppy and the food is a trash. They are charging very high for this atrocious service. The one and only reason why people are booking this hotel is, its proximity to other locations. If people want to continue to make reservations to this this hotel, GOOD LUCK!

This is my first night in LA California with my family. I walked through the huge rotating doors after a spectacular view of the palm trees, succulents, & water fountain on display outside. I can’t remember the front desk agents name but he was super helpful and we had a great conversation. We got some warm cookies that were compliments of the hotel. There is a bar and restaurant inside of the hotel. There is also a pool & meeting rooms. All corridors were clean and smelled good as well as the room. I loved the chandeliers and artwork on the walls. We also got two complimentary waters and soap shampoo and conditioner pumps were accessible in the bathroom. They also have toothbrushes/toothpaste upon request. The room was spacious and had a fridge and coffee maker as well. We requested extra towels and got them right away.Follow me on Instagram @rosadivina29 for more places I’ve visited.

The first turnoff was the putrid smell the water fountain was putting out. I overheard many people asking if the water was safe from the tap. I was disappointed in one of the front desk staff as I had tried to book and join Hilton Honors twice over the phone on my way and was "disconnected" both times. I tried to explain this to her in an effort to just let her know where I left off and rather than assist, she sent me to the website. Her co-worker was much more attentive and pleasant. Charging $15 to park in basically a public parking lot mad no sense to me as there is a movie theater parking lot connected to the same access point. For being Hilton, way disappointed, particularly due to their "commitment" to keep the rooms clean and sanitary. (See pics) Why are they using bags for trash cans as ice bucket bags when they charge $200/night? Also, the window to my room was open and the freeway noise was obnoxious. Bartender was sweet and attentive. I would not stay here again if they paid me.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Doubletree Los Angeles Norwalk! The location is ideal for tourists visiting Anaheim and Los Angeles/Hollywood because it sits right on I-5. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by front desk staff and quickly got set up with keys and the breakfast vouchers we added. We enjoyed our warm cookies too! Our room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and wonderful shower (sometimes hard to find in hotels). Beds were super comfortable! We loved the Crabtree & Evelyn products and appreciated that they’ve moved away from the individual toiletries. (I volunteer at an organization who recycles those containers, and it’s crazy to see how much waste is created.) Breakfast was delicious each morning. We had a buffet on some mornings, but I believe they are moving away from the buffet. The service on our table-service breakfast was slow, but that was due to a lack of staff, which sadly is all over these days. I need to remember that even though we’re not wearing masks anymore, the hospitality industry was obliterated by the pandemic, and it will take time to get things back to normal (and the sky-high demand for travel is making things more challenging). Every staff member we encountered was working hard and was super kind and accommodating. We travel often to the LA area, and when we left the hotel on our last day, our kids said, “We should stay here again next year!” Teenager approved:)

I am hoping this place changes there ways maybe offer me a free stay in better room with pool access. Start this is an okay atmosphere but horrible experiences and the staff not what my family is used to from our past experiences with double tree chain. Please contact me to discuss and hopefully resolve this problem as I am a local Norwalk representative and really want success for all in our community, standing together we raise and being separate we crumble apart.

Make sure you look at the website and read everything, be prepared to pay for everything, like breakfast and parking. The staff was very nice at the front desk. They don’t do everyday room service which was explained at the desk but you can request or call for towels etc at any time. Had to call for toilet paper and the housekeeping lady knocked on our room door while playing on her phone. Never looked up or put it away, when I answered. Our sink was clogged from day one, it started to back up and everything was coming up. When maintenance was called they got it working but the bathroom had no ventilation that worked in the bathroom and whatever chemical he used was extremely strong and no warning just left.

September 2022 ROOMS : Spacious PARKING : Plenty of Parking even in the back MINI MARKET : Fully stocked. There is a microwave and filtered water POOL : It was the best part ❤️ I loved the pool and the outdoor area RESTAURANT/BAR Area is big and you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner STAFF : Great customer service !!! The girl at the from desk with the long hair is the nicest one. All the ladies and guys that clean the rooms and take care of the meeting room were extraordinary!!! 2ND FLOOR : It is nice that they have an outdoor area to go sit and watch the sunrise/sunset ••• CONS : There was no microwave in the rooms. They have one downstairs inside the mini Market The SMELL: MY room and my co workers told me their rooms too had a weird smell. We figured out it was probably from the water. Anytime I opened the water that unpleasant smell got stronger.

Location is good, hear freeway and restaurants. Clean lobby, staff was nice. Room was big and clean , restroom was a little outdated. I was very disappointed by the pool area, very dirty, jacuzzi wall had dry bird poop and the inside looked like it's cracking through, looks black inside. Pool was very dirty , lots of insects, leafs and dirt. Launching chairs couldn't be used , you can see the dirt on the black. No net to attempt to clean it, cigarette buds in the area and stairs, going to the second floor, that area also had lots of cigarette buds. As we are leaving the pool area we see the maintenance guy spraying something in the jacuzzi and when he saw us he nervous laugh and stopped. Whatever maintenance has to be done should he done before it opens, what if I wanted to go in the jacuzzi and I had an allergic reaction to whatever he sprayed? Pool opens at 7 AM it should be done before guests go in. I hope they can talk to the maintenance employee and coach him on keeping the area clean and follow proper precaution when using chemicals in the pool or jacuzzi. I did no contact check in/out, I had a hard time using it to access the pool area and doors, front desk manager was nice and gave me a key to make it simple. Cleaning lady was nice, got us some clean towels and was professional and had a nice smile too.

This not a 4 star hotel. First of all the rooms smelled muggy and nasty. The carpet was old and was very humid inside the room. The beds old and uncomfortable. I don't understand how this is a 4star hotel. More like a 2/3 star at most.

We enjoyed staying here over night. People were friendly at the service desk. I should have checked before but you have to pay for parking. Also, since I reserved my room not through the hotel, I had to give a deposit. The best part of the room was the shower. Advice: Make sure you take drinking water because there is no free water in your room. The water bottles in your room are expensive. Even when traveling to Europe, there was a couple of free water bottles in the room. I would stay here again.

Always stay here. Well not anymore. Dont stay here unless you want Drug needles right on your window. Horrible. Never have cookies promised. Cockroaches in the tub. Tv remote not working. And I was charged parking there's literally 1000 spots used for the theater and hotel. What is the charge for. I'm sure there's no security that I'm paying for. I requested non smoking room. Why is there 10 cigarettes butts right outside my window.

We needed to plan an impromptu stay, and the Double Tree delivered! Our car broke down on the freeway, and everyone at Double Tree was so kind and took such great care of us while we stayed overnight to wait for our tow truck. Our kids loved the beautiful and conveniently located pool and spa, the room was cool, clean, and comfortable, and the service throughout our staff was kind and wonderful. Thanks, Double Tree, for helping us turn it around and make it a great day.

The hotel room was nice. The breakfast buffet was really poor. The food was dry. The fruit was old and spoiled. The scrambled eggs were rubbery. Our trip was a Father's Day gift for my dad and my family was really disappointed.

Gym was extremely dirty with no sanitation wipes anywhere. My bathroom flooded while taking a shower whole floor was covered in water. Recently stayed here again and it was way cleaner than last time.

Been to this location 3 times, unfortunately every time has been for a death in the family. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. Parking is honestly too expensive, $20/day. The breakfast served is tasty but also pretty expensive. Overall, I like this place.

Great location, rooms were clean & they greet you with amazing cookies :) The only thing I really didn't like is they charge $15 +1.00 (other) on receipt; a day for parking that was stated as free when booking 3rd party unfair to people who think they have fully paid their stay.

Was here for an event, no one at front desk directed us. There were 3 people watching us and said nothing, they just watched us. We followed the music and found our own way.

Awesome experience here at the Double Tree in Norwalk. The rooms have been upgraded and the bar & grill is modern and cool to hang out! I plan to return to this hotel!

needed house keeping at 11pm and front desk lady was not friendly. I had to request her to send clean bed sheets and a clean comforter but she stated there was no house keeping at that time and she denied service . I told her to send the sheets and comforter to the room and i would do it myself. she still denied service until i informed her there was vomit allover the bed and needed a manager if she was not going to do it. She then said she would only send me 4 sheets but not a comforter or anything else. i have had great experiances before at this hotel with the costomer service they offer. every time i visit town i stay here but now i will think about it twice before i do. -unhappy customer

I’ll start with pros: toiletries like body wash and lotion seemed really nice and high end unlike cheap hotels. Con: no breakfast included not even continental. One coffee packet per room got us through before leaving. $25 a person breakfast offered downstairs which my cousin said it was not good. Next time they should advertise that. Most people just want a quick coffee or pastry to start their day off before heading out. We had a big party and I just think it should have been clear ahead of time. Chocolate chip cookies were advertised but when asked they were still “in the oven” 45 minutes to bake.

Lovely location. Can’t stress enough how much we like digital check-in. This location also has free parking and there are actually parking spaces. A rare find in California.

My stay was pretty good no complaints expected for the extra charge that was taken out of my account I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and originally got charged $560.64 which I was aware of once checking out of my hotel I was charged an Additional $427.60. I called and was told it was money that was held and will be refunded but never was explained what the $427.60 was a hold for. No reason why $900+ should be on hold for a 2 night stay.

Hello, I was reading all the reviews on here and I was shocked. I have honestly stayed at this hotel four times and it has never disappointed us. It’s always clean & family friendly. (I have two kids) The staff is always polite and welcoming. I think that people shouldn’t be giving Poor reviews because they got charged for parking or because the expected free breakfast Like come on it’s on the website. Almost every Hilton makes you Pay for parking.Anyways! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean , free shampoo, conditioner& body wash, clean pool and working jucuzzi, friendly staff, not to mention yummy warm cookies. What else can we ask for. Oh and one more thing. If you book a hotel next to the freeway you’re obviously going to hear some noise. But honestly for me it’s not too bad. Some people exaggerate.

This property is not a 4 star, it's barely 2-3 stars place. Staff is super rude and have no professionalism, they probably don't know what it's like being courteous and what is customer service. I have already submitted detailed complaint to Guest services about my experience. Very disappointed, staff like this is ruining Hilton's name. I dint feel honored being a Hilton honor member after the treatmenti recoeved at this place. Room was nice though, it was clean enough and comfortable. Very basic breakfast with same items every single day, some of them were not even fresh...of course they gotta use left overs from previous day. Pay for parking, breakfast, water bottles in the room and for touching TV remote then another 20 bucks for pressing any button on the remote. If you have kids then hide the remote else you'll see $100 extra in your final settlement.

I want to like this place. The staff were nice enough, but this is the definition of a loose operation. What did we enjoy? -the room was clean -the pool was good 7/10 (a little strong with chlorine, but empty and large) -staff was generally kind, but lacking resources (no rental car companies or taxi services cooperating with this hotel, so they don’t really arrange any of those) Main complaints - lobby smells overwhelmingly like bathroom soap. - this was a business trip, and despite the rooms having been paid for already, we were charged a second time. - when we arrived, we were told there would be complimentary breakfast, but when we went, they denied saying this and told us politely that we would have to pay (we did not try, so I could not comment on the quality). - charged for water. $3 for costco water and $6 for evian. No thanks, Double tree. I don’t believe their margins are so small that they cannot afford to give paying customers 2 bottles of water.

Very nice property in a good location. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the staff is friendly. My only disappointment was the lack of free coffee. This is the first Hilton property I've visited that didn't have free coffee available in the lobby.

Good hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Parking is also very good, although a convention could overflow their facility. Just about everything is conveniently nearby. Highly recommended.

My room's a/c made our room smell like urine. The air in bathroom wasn't working and the was mold on the wall. The lamp didn't work! I was informed upon arrival regarding the charge for parking. I was disappointed over all.

A very pleasant experience provided by Jessica, who was quick to check my family in with a smile in the early hours of the morning after travelling for almost 24 hours straight. She went well above what would normally be expected to ensure we had an enjoyable stay and a positive experience. Jessica is an excellent asset to the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles - Norwalk.

Surprise $100 charge upon checking in? You must pay for parking ($10/night)?? In all, this hotel was okay. Wished our bathroom was a little cleaner, but I wasn't too happy with the surprise charges upon checking-in. Good place if you're only in L.A. for a few days and you don't mind the complaints I listed.
