*Edit: I didn’t realize dogs actually aren’t allowed at this park. I saw the sign after I went back. Very sad because it was perfect for him!* Very cute hidden park. I was dog sitting a pup who doesn’t get along with other dogs so I needed to find a small secluded park. This one was perfect! We were the only ones there on a Sunday too! Everything was pretty clean, except for some food trash that people decided not to clean up after themselves. Please keep the parks clean! :)

Nice park to take your children friends or family to play soccer or in the play ground. It also has a gated fence so the children can't run into the streets.

Really nice!!! Why? VERY SMALL,CLEAN AND ABOVE ALL ITS SECLUDED. I GOT THERE AT 8AM AND THERE WERE PLENTY OF NICE,SHADED AREAS TO SET UP A BLANKET AND HAVE A PICNIC. A PERFECT PLACE TO TAKE YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER TO CUDDLE UP AND ENJOY A PEACEFUL DAY DURING A HOT SUMMER DAY!

Nice park in residential community. You do not see it from the main street. In fact there is no sign showing park from main street. The park is completely fenced. We entered thru the small gate in front. Several slopes for walking up and down. Also picnic tables located in different places. Sandy playground with 2 swings for older kids and 2 for younger kids. No slides but a climbing area with bars and rope. Stairs to walk across from side to side of the covered structure. Have monkey bars in large circle formation and a very small zip line. The zip line has no way for the kids to enter onto it. You have to hold them up to reach the bar every time they want to use it. (Only negative about the equipment). Great place to walk around and saw couple of older residences walking their dogs. The residents can enter thru 2 other entrances from their streets and there is a water fountain. Grounds were very well maintained. No covered picnic area and no baseball field or basketball court. Nice park for the residential area and my 7 yr old great niece did enjoy playing there for about 2.5 hrs.

Great neighbors. Everyone wants into Cherry Cove...but not everyone has the money, although it's a steal of a price...still too high for a lot of folks. But, like some areas, there are a few homes that owners refuse to improve. These are the ones to find and buy if you are a first time buyer. We've lived here since 1987 and still love our home. Lakewood is a great community with many parks, including Cherry Cove Park. Great place to raise a family.

I love how this park is kind of hidden, but it's so big and so clean tucked away in a neighborhood. They have a fun playground, large picnic space, and huge running area.

Love this park so do my kids. Sometimes a little older crowd comes to smoke tho so be advised but usually keeps to themselves.

Cherry Cove park is very special to me. I've been here in the Cove since 81. Daughter graduated from CSULB since then. Taken my Granddaughter to swing and play in the sand now at her first year at CBUR. "Cherry Cove Park is special to me.
