Julia Russ Asmus Park

Park

🫤 Restrooms always close. I've been to this park more than 50x mornings, afternoons, and nights not one single time have I seen the restrooms open...ok place for walking distance if you don't mind squatting or have your kids squat to pee or all the homeless people that hang out here. People often mention park,

Our great lil neighborhood park ... it needs a bigger playground for the kids but still enjoyable

This is such a great park. I have a ton of memories there. It is long, which has a basketball court. Plus the playground isn't bad. There are enough tables for groups of people. For a small park it's pretty good. The type of people you get are families, teens with attitudes, people walking their dogs, and your occasional potheads. During the day you can have a pretty good time with family and friends. At night though, it can get a little sketchy. You might even get a crackhead. For anyone who sees this review. Just please take note. Keep to yourself or group don't bug others unless you are playing a game, but I'm mostly talking to those who are high or drunk. Overall just be respectful and clean up after yourself. Also no restrooms that's another downside.

The maintenance service at this park is constant and although some graffiti is present, the park generally is in a decent area in the downtown portion of Bell Gardens. The park's occupancy level is low and dog friendly. Also to be clear there is no church as referenced in the photos. Also, the bathrooms aren't open.
