Bad experience. Came in at 6:04pm on last Saturday and they refused to give me my prescription because they are “closing”. I had to drive 30 minutes to get my prescription from a 24 hour pharmacy. CVS pharmacists are generally rude but it seems to be worse at this location. Keep it up. CVS will be replaced by a startup soon.

The pharmacy people so slow , the line keeps getting long. And many old and sick people waiting for more than 45 minutes. Not recommend if you can't wait or stand up for long time.

Tried calling this store on my way from another store to confirm if they had a product I urgently needed before I drove over in 5 o clock traffic. The employees here conveniently left me on hold for over 20 minutes forcing me to drive over and be told in person that they too were out of stock while the staff were sitting on their hands with no one manning the phones. Bravo team!

Under no circumstances should I have to wait on hold over the phone for almost 40 minutes. I decided to show up in person to see how many people were in line to make me wait that long for my call to be answered. How many people were in line? Zero. Not a single one. How many people were working? Maybe 7? I was helped almost immediately. Let me tell you how absolutely annoying and ridiculous it is to have to go to cvs in person just to ask when my medication will be in stock. Bonkers. This place must be run by todlers because there's just no excuse for this at all.

This pharmacy has been nothing but a headache and disappointment for the last two years. I've continued to go out of convenience but it's time to give up and move on to another one.. I called at 9am and was told it would be ready in a couple hours, at 5pm they said it wasn't ready and proceeded to make me wait almost two hours in person to pick up my prescription.

This is the worst pharmacy ever encountered. Never has Rx ready, frequently wrong and incompetent staff. Take your Rx to a better pharmacy - their lack of service is not a one off.

The pharmacy is impossible to reach by phone and they won't call you back. Don't bother calling.

I work in Pasadena and the food store I work at closes at 2AM, i do not live in Pasadena so I have to wait and catch the train every morning back to union station due to the times the trains start running which is 4AM. I was racially profiled by this young lady Pamela That was a night manager on the night of 6/14/22 she told me to leave my back pack by the front door assuming that I am homeless and a thief and I barely just walked in the store even after me showing her I have 500$ in my wallet I was still being disrespected I am currently going through PTSD so I do not feel comfortable leaving my back pack with anyone maybe this store needs to get shutdown if they are so worried about theifs and do not have any security guards if you are black I advise you not to go here in the night they will assume you are homeless.

The CVS is located in a convenient place and is right across from a Starbucks. They have a pretty good size parking lot including wheelchair accessible parking. They also have a drive-thru. The drive-thru can sometimes be backed up though. I've often experienced solicitors standing outside of the main door which is irritating personally. Sometimes there are unhoused individuals also outside the front door. Many people come over from the light rail station which is right next to the CVS. When you walk in you're usually greeted by one of the staff which is nice. The shelves in general seem to be either really overstocked or sometimes even bare. But you can usually find whatever you're looking for from kombucha to charging cables. They have a main register that you can check out through with a person behind it or you can use several self checkout. If your purchasing alcohol you do have to go to the main register and interact with the person behind the counter. The pharmacy leaves much to be desired. The workers seem very rushed and apathetic. They really don't seem to help people when they're confused or need additional assistance. I have had personal discussions about what my medicine is for and the side effects with someone standing right next to me at a register checking out. So there's no privacy at all. And their vaccine area is a tiny little corner right next to the registers with a blind around it. Again basically zero privacy. They haven't proved over the past few years by allowing you to receive a receipt by email rather than the 12 ft long receipts they used to give out in the past with all the coupons all over them. The information about the store hours is a little misleading. The CVS is open 24 hours but the pharmacy is not open 24 hours.

I've only ever had a good experience at the pharmacy here. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and helpful. And they are great at giving vaccinations. It never hurts as much as I expect it to! I've gotten multiple flu shots here. Going to get my pneumonia vaccination today.

**Review for CVS - 727 S Arroyo Pkwy, Pasadena, CA 91105** Absolutely the worst experience anyone can have at a pharmacy! This branch is terribly run. I made multiple trips only to find out they didn't have my prescription. To add insult to injury, they NEVER pick up phone calls and send you on an endless loop through frustrating phone trees. I'd recommend finding another pharmacy that actually values its customers.

Pictures are blurry. They told me that they are good… even the receipt is not focus and makes you sick if you stare at it. Try to print somewhere else.

I was lucky to be at CVS on Arroyo today and asked the pharmacist if I could get the RSV vaccine. She said of course, I filled out the forms and in a matter of minutes I was done. I did get a COVID booster and flu vaccination on July 5 at the same CVS. They are just so good.

If I could give no stars I would give NONE. This store showed me today that they don't value black patrons in their store. They treated me like a criminal like a drug addict, and lied about store procedures right to my face. What major pharmacy doesn't take GoodRx? The pharmacy manager and her ENTIRE staff lied and said they didn't, I have used GoodRx several times at this pharmacy since 2022 and as recent as 10/31/23. With the GoodRx gold card my prescription was 8.11, without it 144.32. She used her discretion to deny my medication being filled because she felt that I didn't need the medication my surgeon prescribed to me. As a college educated law abiding citizen I didn't think I could ever have been discriminated against at a pharmacy. I'm hurt and disgusted at this treatment by my employer. The staff judged me based off my appearance and race. Automatically assumed I was some drug addict or something. I didn't know till today that a none medical doctor like a pharmacist has way more power than the doctor that actually opened up my back and added 8 screws. So this will be the end of my cvs experience as a customer and an employee. I also know now why so many people are dying from fentanyl, they have cvs as their pharmacy and they have a judgemental racist as a pharmacist and she has decided that "NO you don't get any medicine today". I'm sure everyone that comes in this store doesn't get treated like this. I'm positive they honor the GoodRx card as GoodRx corporate verified that they DO participate in the program. They just didn't want to honor "my" GoodRx gold membership.

I’d like to Thank Ashley for being so helpful whenever I come in. I’ve been shopping and getting my prescriptions here for years, but in the past few years the service has been terrible. Last month Ashley helped me with photos that we’re medically very important and she patiently helped me. I just looked for that review and it was lost. ( I may have removed it by mistake) it was a 5 star. I’m leaving another 5 stars for her helping me with eye solutions that my Dr Subscribed and it was locked. Thank you so much Ashley I appreciate your helpful.

Probably not the longest check out that I have experienced, but that was the WORST and the most confusing check out

Pharmacist misdirected myself and the doctor for other CVS pharmacies that are open later - apparently couldn't tell the difference between Alhambra and Arcadia. They told myself/the doctor to reassign the prescription to CVS Alhambra - which closes at the same time as they do. Disastrous to say the least especially when concerning any urgent medication. For what it's worth, this pharmacy closes at 6 and the closest CVS that is open until a later time (10 PM) is the Health Hub CVS in Arcadia.

This was a store that had it all. All the often hard to find items, _ a gum cleaner, Chocolate Peanut Butter Haagen Daz, Harry and Winston razor blades. other wide ranging items. And the clerks were very nice. thank you team. Ample parking ,too JIMMY DOLAN

The pharmacy staff has always been so kind and helpful! I've been struggling with figuring out the right medication to take and it's been a stressful time, so the fact that I can just walk into the pharmacy and they make everything so easy is a huge relief to me. Even when issues arrive with my prescription, they handle it with grace and understanding. I weirdly enjoy going to the pharmacy, which has never been something I would have ever even thought about before.

HORRIBLE. IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. The pharmacy is inept, inaccurate and the staff lies. AND THEN THEY SPOKE TO THE NEXT CUSTOMER ABOUT ME VIOLATING HIPPA. To which I’ve reported them. Terrible staff. DO NOT TRUST THIS PHARMACY
