Food was amazing! Staff were friendly! Best Mexican Food in South Gate!

Made me fill like if I was in Zamora Michoacan

Service here is very slow, don't show up hangry because you will definitely be waiting quite a while for your food. They don't allow a la carte and claim that it must be part of a combo. Salsa's were bland, food wasn't served hot and their enchiladas needed lots of improvement potato slices were super greasy.

My bro n law brought me here for the 1st time and the food was insane. Excellent casero style food I had the enchiladas con pollo on the side and ufff it was so Damm good this deserves 10 stars. Hands down this spot was amazingly gooooood.

I think their tortillas are made from scratch! So good and I would totally go back.

Went it for a Burrito because the reviews said the food was good..... That was far from the case the food had absolutely no flavor. The meat had no flavor the rice was great! But I didnt come for the rice. I added salsa to see uf that would help...it didn't. Won't be coming back to this place. They should have kept the lil burger shack that used to be here at least that food had flavor.

So disappointed with this place. Came across it on Instagram the reels looked so mouthwatering and being that my dad is from Michoacan I wanted to relive the flavors of their amazing food. I ordered the puerco en chile Rojo no flavor! I had to add the hot chile oil in spoonfuls to get a decent flavor. My boyfriend ordered the "Machaca like" plate that's made with an egg but they couldn't add an egg that I had asked for because " they don't serve breakfast " my daughter ordered tacos de papa, those were so flat as if they were counting how many spoonfuls of papa per taco almost like a quesadilla flat with a whole salad on top to cover the papa tacos. I would not go back or recommend I'm glad the other party we invited didn't show up.

I meant the tacos where ok I had better tacos from a food truck than this the asada tacos where bomb but as far as the pastor and birria taco they where lacking flavor

Never again went today. 5/24/23 and paid to much for food that we through away without finishing meat was hard and it tasted like they had it there for a minute no it wasn't worth it

Off the HOOK! Actually, it was with m'fingers, and I tell ya, a quesadilla ain't a quesadilla unless it's a grilled cheese with Wonderbread...He'll no, gimme a quesadilla ANY day!! At Tequeria Tepeque, when in that part of L.A., that's where you'll find me! (Dont tell the cops!)

Went there today 6/4/23 with all my fam since TikTok hyped it all up and we were disappointed in the food no flavor in all dishes we chose. Not to mention the enchiladas Michoacánas looks like they sprinkled a tablespoon of parmesan cheese (no flavor). The menudo was too salty looked and tasted like it was days old. The consomé for the birria tacos was water down with no flavor again. Too expensive for there poor quality food not going back ever 👎🏽 we orders 4 dishes it came out to $110.00 dollars

Really wanted to like this little spot since we are from Michoacán and there are not a lot of places around that serve enchilada’s Michoacán style, this review is for the enchiladas and morisqueta. The enchiladas had no flavor at all, the inside had a small pinch of cheese like literally a pinch l. Chicken had no flavor also. The sauce that goes on top seemed like they sweetened it with sugar. 0/10. Morisqueta was decent 6/10. I wouldn’t come back :(

Amazing food, my husband saw them on TikTok and we decided to make that 30m drive. Well worth it. Thank you for keeping my belongings safe for me! People with integrity and honesty is hard to come across now in days.

The tortillas of the enchiladas were really hard and lacked flavor. The queso birria taco was too greasy. The consome lack of flavor it had a clavo taste. The beans and rice need improvement. The service was good but would not eat here again.

Friends invited me to eat it into small restaurant, Downtown. Regular beef tongue tacos. Not interested it without restroom bathroom, and not bring water drink. Non waitress. Fair 👎

Good good mexican food here. Authentic and delicious. The person who took my order was very nice and helpful. The person who made my food made it with pride. I had tacos de asada and a burrito de birria and will go back for the same thing soon. Lots of parking out back.

Went because I was craving a quesadilla and had seen they were hyping this restaurant on tik tok. So went and ordered a asada one and omg had hardly any meat. If I would have known it was going to look and taste so bland I would have done one myself at home. Plus not worth the the $$ they charged.
