I’m not sure how I have avoided this hidden gem for so long. For 27 years I have lived within 4 miles of the Parkwood Deli. Had never stepped foot inside. Although I had driven by passed it many times. That all changed recently. Last weekend I stopped by with my family and we ordered sandwiches, the New Jersey Devil and the Parkwood. Stacked, delicious sandwiches that are very filling. Today we ordered the Grandma Pie and a plain pie. The Grandma Pie was terrific, as well as the plain pie. My wife’s Grandmother came from Italy and she said it was the closest to her Grandmother’s pizza she ever had. Parking is a little tight but I would park on the roof to have that wonderful pizza again. Definitely going back. Parkwood Deli has spoiled me and my family from other pizza shops in the area. Two big thumbs up!!

One word summarizes the food and staff: Awesome. After seeing "The Deli Guy" on TikTok, I wanted to stop by this deli when I made the trek from upstate New York for any event downstate. I got the Chicken Parm sub and it was amazing. It was a fresh cutlet with homemade sauce and fresh mozzarella on a nice Italian roll. Not only that, everyone was great and friendly. When I am back in this area again, I am definitely going to order from here. I really recommend this deli.

“Homemade drinks” in the fridge are Twister and other name brands poured into generic containers for years. Something you’d see in a Paterson bodega except you’d actually be getting a deal there. Doubt it’s legal but all the cops eat for free! Sandwiches are usually okay. Pizza is terrible. Would rather have to drink the coffee from Wilkes on glen than go here anymore.

Staff was nice, but frequently I see the owner being rude to his workers and getting angry over every little thing and screaming rude things to one of the people in the kitchen. Once I had heard him screaming to someone in the back that a coworker hated him. Felt so bad had to tip the girl ringing me up. Good food and service, but I just feel so terrible for the young girls and cooks.

Great deli! Delicious food. Very friendly staff. Been twice, Drove 20mins well worth it! Will be back soon! So much on the menu to try!

Sandwiches are off the hook. Amazing meatball subs, as well. Make sure you go and say hi to the Deli Guy!

I recently ordered take-out from Parkwood Deli and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The Grandma style pizza was the standout dish for me - the plain crust was crispy and the sauce had just the right balance of herbs and spices. I appreciated the simplicity of the dish, as it allowed the flavors of the sauce and crust to shine. The ease of ordering take-out and promptness of the service were also noteworthy. I highly recommend Parkwood Deli for delicious, authentic Grandma style pizza that you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

By far the best broccoli rabe ever had. Sandwich was good. Pizza slice and pepperoni roll were meh at beat. Stick to the deli side. His coffee is very good but he doesn't have iced coffee which is unfortunate IMHO

Me & my momma drove 45 mins to Parkwood Deli .. It was beyond worth the trip! Pizza AMAZING.. Sandwiches, fresh.. DELISH!! The owner, "The Deli Guy" came over to meet us like we were the celebs!! Whole experience was AWESOME!! Staff super accommodating!! A personal thank you to "The Deli Guy" and his wifey for the extra hospitality! YOU GUYS ROCK! Will definitely be back soon!

It was well worth the four hour drive! Food is beyond exceptional! Some of the best sandwiches and pizza you'll ever have the pleasure of indulging in. Trust me, you won't regret it! Hands down an awesome experience. A personal thank you to 'The Deli Guy', Roger, for his kindness, generosity, and amazing hospitality. There is only one Park Wood Deli, and there's only one 'Deli Guy'!

They fold their pizza boxes inside out.....who does that? Why pay the money for printed boxes when the only light of day they see is when you open the pizza box? If they don't like the artwork on the printed boxes, why not just buy the plain pizza boxes and save a few bucks? It's insane. It's insulting to pizza boxes. Just fold them the right way.

This Great team makes hungry customers happy. Excellent sandwiches pizza and more. Worth the trip!

I don’t usually write reviews of this type, but this place is outstanding. My son and I just stopped in for lunch before he heads off to work for a few months. I ordered the knish/pastrami and he had the Turkey special. They were absolutely life-changing. Roger and his staff are the ultimate professionals and make this an amazing experience. If you appreciate good food and a family atmosphere, this place is a must!

I went to Park Wood Deli for the first time today, after losing faith in my go to deli. I ordered an East Glen and Bronx Bomber. I loved them both. My new deli from now on! 🙂

The pizza is ok but the staff is great The chicken fingers and fries are amazing here would recommend.

Came in for the first time today!! I’ve always been intrigued by the deliguy’s social media videos, so I had to give him a shot. He personally made me one of the best turkey sandwiches I’ve ever had not even lying. Will definitely be back in the future!! In my standards if you could make a killer turkey sandwich, you were probably the best at your game!! I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy from a sandwich 😂😂. Thanks Deliguy!!

So I went to parkway today so I could get some sandwiches and Film my video j reviews. Let me say this is one of the coolest places I have ever been to in my life. The atmosphere when you walk in the door isn't credible. They've got an amazing drin selection a great chip selection in an even better menu. As I walked through the front door I smelled something that smelled absolutely credible they've got a beautiful stone aged pizza oven the turns out. Incredible crunchy pizza. They've got an amazing deli counter to turn out the best sandwiches you will ever have in your life. The chicken Sandwich that I got today was crispy it had a great te. The chicken was not chewing at all the spinach was crisp and fresh and had a delightful taste to it. The cheese was supper fresh the pesto sauce 😋 to die for all together Making further best bite possible. Then I decided to get the top of the hill sandwich and there's not enough could stinks to say about this brush cut roast beef cooked to perfection. Incredible barbecue sauce with some chips and tomatoes altogether leads for the perfect combination of flavor town in your mouth. I was so happy to make the three hour drive up here to finally try this place. I would give this place a solid 4.9 out of 5 which has officially gotten my highest ranking so congratulations Parkwood. We just went there for our first visit and will definitely be back. The sandwiches are huge, the pizza was delicious, and the owner was really friendly and nice. Thanks Park Wood Deli, I can’t wait for our next visit!
