I
originally
signed
up
for
a
class
at
Rollstar
Jiu-Jitsu
last
summer.
I
went
into
the
school
a
bit
nervous
that
Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu
was
not
a
sport
that
I
should
try
attempting
as
this
was
my
first
real
attempt
at
a
combat
sport.
Instead,
I
received
much
encouragement,
compassion,
mentorship,
and
love
from
the
teachers
and
students
at
Rollstar
Jiu-Jitsu.
Coach
Fred
has
been
an
excellent
guide
in
my
Jiu-Jitsu
journey
and
has
continued
to
support
me
and
monitor
my
progress,
showing
me
that
despite
not
seeing
it,
I
am
in
fact
making
progress.
Professor
Diego
is
also
nothing
but
encouraging
always
pushing
you
to
try
your
hardest,
do
your
best,
work
smart,
and
most
importantly,
not
give
up
in
the
face
of
adversity.
The
brotherhood
I
experienced
here
amongst
the
other
students
has
also
been
a
major
component
of
why
I
have
continued
training
three
times
a
week.
I
am
always
greeted
by
an
amazing
group
of
guys
who
have
become
like
older
brothers
to
me.
I
would
say
starting
BJJ
at
this
school
has
been
one
of
the
best
decisions
I
have
made
and
I
would
highly
encourage
anybody
to
stop
in
and
give
it
a
try
by
taking
a
trial
class.
It
may
be
very
far
out
of
your
comfort
zone,
but
it's
those
activities
that
really
push
you
into
becoming
a
better
person
the
most.
