Visited Anathavalam last week with my little girl – Our little girl had a blast, and it's a perfect spot for both kids and parents. The peaceful atmosphere lets parents relax while the kids have a great time playing. The cleanliness around the animals is commendable - big thanks to the cleaning team. The park is spread across a vast area which includes a designated area for elephants, and a separate place for birds. We enjoyed our visit... Recently the place has been renamed as Anathavalam Kaveri Park. Earlier days, elephants owned by Puthrnkulam Shaji were treated here and entry was free. Now, they have renovated it as a park where you can enjoy elephant ride and other few activities with elephants. The entry fee is RS.100 per person and entry is limited from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. Elephant ride will cost you an additional amount of 300. Ample space available to park your vehicle inside and outside the park. You can book additional facility by calling them. They are happy to arrange group games if you need.

Under progression stage, even though they're charging for a fully functional park. So it's not affordable to nearby peoples . Half the price is enough (50rs) considering the cost of feeding animals daily. The animals are well cared and well fed.

We experienced the best hospitality here. Elephant ride , a must try where Ganga (elephant name) was make us comfortable for the ride. Suma (park guide) helped us to capture pictures all along the ride and also guided us with awesome love. Park entrance is ₹100 and free for kids below 90cm. Elephant ride adult cost ₹400. An excellent place to for a day outing. Especially your kids are going to love this. The place is kept neat and tidy and the staff are courteous. A decent park for your kids to play around. A few elephants are kept in the anathavalam. And one elephant is kept in the entrance. A step is constructed so that we can easily climb on top of the elephant to have a small elephant ride. The restroom are neat and clean. And there is a small cafeteria for refreshments.

A very good place to visit elephants, ostrich, emu, macaus, parrots, iguana etc. Not much crowded and a good ambience ... the place is constantly growing and one of the best places for family to be around. alligator fish is a real feast to watch.

The guides were very friendly and supportive. My 4 years old daughter was very happy as she could play in the rides set at the play park inside. We can use the canteen, which is very clean. It will take around 1 hour to see all the places, but kids can enjoy and stay there as long as they have energy to play. Overall it is good experience to spend morning time here, after that one can move to Kapil beach boating and Varkala beach activites.

It's a beautiful park for entertainment purposes as well as learning for kids and adults. There are a variety of exotic plant and animal species in the park. Also there are many elephants and we can feed them and take photos with them and even ride on them (which I couldn't experience as they stopped the elephant ride after the corona pandemic). It was a nice experience to spent there some time with family & kids.we can see a lot of elephants including many tuskers. some of them are very famous all around kerala.a childrens park is also attached with many play equipments. landscaping is beautiful. we can also see a variety of birds like emu, ostrich, macaw etc. there are many other animals also to see. rare breed of cows are seen there. snack & drinks bar also available for refreshment. elephant safari is a good experience.its really good to visit there with kids and family.

Nice place to visit and averi Elephant Park (Anathavalam); is one of the few ethical tourist oriented places that focuses on interaction with elephants. Anathavalam, Spread across 4.75 acres of pristine land, enclosed by greenery and picturesque surroundings our elephant sanctuary is truly a sight to behold.Watching these magnificent beasts will truly inspire the adventurer in anyone.

Very good set up especially to entertain the children. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a guide who took us around the property and explained about the various animals. Besides elephants, there are birds, rabbits, goats, an emu, and a pair of ostriches. There are 3 elephants, 2 males and a female. We interacted only with the female elephant, it was very friendly. Evening would be the ideal time to visit. I went during the day and it was very hot.

Nice park with nice theme. But when we visited we were able to meet only 1 elephant as other 4 went to some festival work. Few birds, duck, swans, rabbit, few fishes and ostrich was beautiful. Nice place to spend time with kids.

Aquarium, birds park and play area for children are the other best attractions. They provides banquet hall for hosting small functions like birthday parties and engagement. There is cafeteria inside the premises, offers snacks and drinks 🍹 Entry fees is Hundred rupees for adults and Fifty rupees for kids and if you need an elephant ride you need to pay 300 extra. (It was a nice experience). Ample parking area available. Best place to hangout with your kids for a day.
