Mangrove village adventures were the best choice for kayaking, it was a very memorable experience. ❤ Never felt like an adventure though, it was very calming to row through the mangroves. Special mention had to be given to our guide( I guess his name is Nandha), he made the kayaking journey very beautiful and was very patient, calm and composed. Also checked if everyone is doing good periodically. He made sure everybody feels comfortable. Go for this activity, you might also end up loving kayaking as I did. 🚣‍♀️

Kayaking around these beautiful mangrove tress and the island!!! We started kayaking around 6.30am with all the prior instructions and it look 3hours for the entire trip. We just loved the entire experience😍 The mangrove trees, birds chirping, sound of water! And thanks Nandu for making this more amazing. I would recommend to anyone who visits Varkala. And I should really appreciate the team for maintaining the place so well!

The kayaking experience was really great. Life jackets were provided for safety and we were given a demo session for 15 min on how to manage the kayak. It was really helpful. Also the route was carefully chosen giving us adequate dose of mangrove as well as adventure. The distance covered and duration itself was satisfying. We were a group of 4 and overall we had a great experience here. Must come for our next visit to Varkala. Cheers 😊

A better adventure centre, located in Paravoor, it's naturally and untouched natural mangroves makes kayaking a wonderful experience. Guide and supporting service is exceptionally best here...

Awesome experience. The kayaking location was very scenic with tranquil surroundings. The best part was swimming in the middle of the mangrove lake and experiencing the natural hot spring beneath my feet inside the lake. I would visit again, for sure.

Had a wonderful kayaking experience. I would really recommend to everyone to try atleast once because it was worth doing. They teach us basic lessons too before kayaking which makes us confident even though we are beginners. Also the support and help which the team provide is appreciable. Thank you so much 💞

This is the most recommended place for kayaking in Kollam-Varkala. Well organized place with good views for photos. The landscapes were amazing. The hosting guide was very welcoming and warm. The best part was that it was not very crowded and hence the views were to die for. You can also choose to go boating with family. You will be taken care of properly and your safety is the number one concern for them. They also offered coffee we came back from kayaking since we were tired. clean washrooms and an amazing visit.

I had an amazing kayaking experience at Mangrove Village Adventures with my 5-year-old kid. We had booked a 2-hour kayaking session, and I must say it was a fantastic family adventure. One of the things that impressed us right from the start was the proper training they provided. Safety was a top priority, especially with our little one on board. They made sure we were comfortable and confident before we set off. What made this experience truly enjoyable was having a knowledgeable guide with us throughout the kayaking journey. Opting for the morning session was a great choice. We got to soak in the breathtaking beauty of the backwaters and mangrove forest without being under the scorching midday sun. Mangrove Village Adventures offers more than just kayaking. They have a variety of other water and land-based activities, including country boat safaris and banana boat rides. One of the standout aspects of our visit was the friendliness of the staff and guides. They were not only helpful but also seemed genuinely passionate about what they do. Overall, our kayaking adventure at Mangrove Village Adventures was a memorable and family-friendly outing. If you're looking for a place that combines outdoor fun, nature exploration, and friendly service, I highly recommend giving this place a visit.

Experienced the most surreal sunset of my life here. These guys know what they’re doing. They take you kayaking through a beautiful mangrove forest. Then you can get down into the waters (it’s not too deep and you can stand in most places) and play around for some time. When it’s time for sunset they will take you to a location a little further. Just lay back and soak in the sun, the sound of the water and birds around you. You will have the time of your life.

Simply amazing! The guides were professional, and everything was well organized. They took all the necessary safety precautions and guided us well. I opted for the sunset kayaking session, and the views throughout the trip were just splendid. I even caught a glimpse of some freshwater jellyfish. Overall, it was a lovely experience

Phenomenal experience. Loved every bit of the 3 hour kayaking tour. We were a group of 22 youngsters and the 3 guides made sure we were all okay. The boats, paddles and life jacket were all good quality. They have lockers to keep valuables and decent changing rooms. They do a proper job and I highly recommend this place.

Entrance is via the brick making factory. Excellent gear with good life jacket + pre kayak briefing. The coach did a superb job of guiding us and staying by my side throughout the kayaking. When it got very hard to kayak due to water current in the last 100m, he pulled my kayak through. I am very safety conscious and was impressed with the kayaking.

Mangrove village adventures is the must visit place on your trip to varakala. The place is run professionally they send people in little groups guided by trainer or instructor. The kayaks and life jackets are in good condition. The route they take are scenic, wide and through mangroves also added let you play in the water for 20/30 min where the water is shallow. They provide drinking water ample amount of parking for your vehicle and a water proof bag for your electronics safety while on the ride. The place charges marginally higher price than the competition but they worth every penny. CAUTION: there are people on the way to lure you into different place and promising to provide at better price don’t fall for it.

I recently had the incredible experience of booking a sunset kayaking adventure through Mangrove Village Adventures in Varkala, and it truly was one of the highlights of our Kerala trip. As first-time kayakers, we were a bit apprehensive, but the instructors and staff were exceptionally helpful. They provided us with a quick and comprehensive briefing on how to navigate through the mangroves and water. As you paddle through the mangrove forest and narrow routes, you'll feel like you've stepped into a scene from a movie. We even had the pleasure of experiencing rain showers during our kayaking adventure, and our leader captured some great pictures for us. They provide a waterproof bag for your phone and locker rooms for your belongings. The property itself is beautiful, featuring numerous Instagram-worthy spots. Besides kayaking, they offer a wide range of other activities to cater to various interests. Our package included refreshments – we enjoyed some delicious maggie and coffee after our kayaking adventure. I highly recommend adding this experience to your Kerala itinerary. It's an adventure that combines natural beauty, adventure, and excellent service, making it an unforgettable part of your journey.

Extremely good time with Mangrove adventures. Took the sunset kayaking from 3-6 pm and it was absolutely worth it. The team is very well equipped with new kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and there's a guide who accompanies you throughout. Must visit if you're in and around Varkala.

We were a group of 28 people from our rotary club and came here for sea foods. Everyone we enquired recommended this restaurant and it was true to their reputation. We had karimeen, beef fry, chilli fish, chicken biryani, dragon chicken and breads along with fish gravy. All the dishes were tasty and fresh. The restaurant was very crowded with local people. We had to wait for almost 20 minutes to get seated. The wait was worth it.

Must do in varkala.... unforgettable experience. Punctual thorough with good safety meaures in organising. They make this adventure real fun one. Our guide Mr.Abin was very friendly, patient and efficient. All trainers and guides are warm , watchful and smiling. The view and feel you get as you kayak and watch the sunset on one side with the mangrove forest on the other will stay with you forever. Worth every penny. Highly recommended. Tip: since it's physically demanding brace yourself. They offer single as well as double person kayaks... so if you have a kid or someone who can't do 3 hrs go for the double one

I did kayaking here in mid of October in early morning. My guide was Habid. He was humble and guided me well and picked up few nice photos and videos. Was lucky that I was the only, so it was peaceful moment with nature. A small group can also be fun and early morning hour is preferable.
