The service was really bad and I suggest that they bring down the category from luxury to normal! There was no proper coordination, one of the washroom’s was stinking that we weren’t able to use that bedroom as well and no one were able to fix it! We had taken a luxury package with village/beach visit etc but none happened. The boat did have a small pool, but that wasn’t kept clean too, and the surrounding area was rusted. The only good part was the crew and the food, which were really good!

Neat and calm staff with luxurious amenities.Best for innovative corporate gatherings. Overall it was a soothing and enjoyable experience. We have enjoyed a lot and will like to go back again. They were a nice person and have treated us greatly in the trip, he has taken care of even every small details to make the package trip a grand

The journey inside this wonderful boat was really exciting. The food they serve is of good quality and tasty.. We were ensured to be safe with jackets and via other means... Awesome surrounding sound systems. I strongly recommend to others.

@Google also can recommend negative stars to this boat house. Demerits: 1.The Boat we hired is Max 7 years old (pics shared is like new one) 2. Village Visit - they have not taken us to Village Visit, they shown this is the Village. 3. Fish Market - they taken us to Fish Shop not a market. 4. Hot Water - House boat people not provided vs Office People confirmed that they will provide Hot Water. 5. Food - We informed to Prepare Tamilnadu Rice but they shared Kerala Rice. 6. Washbasin - no common washbasin provided, everytime we need to use the washroom 7. Caption - caption of the ship should be a like tour guide but he is very silent and also not informative. It will disaster your trip. 8. Houseboat Cruise - Cruise which not included Shooting spot, Churches. 9. TV - will not be provided cable or dish connection rather wifi. We have to use our Internet connection (TV will be Provided only @ night stay) 10. Common - we reached at their office location by the way they arranged Auto travel to House boat yard. But auto charges will be paid by us. Which we can opt @ lesser charges. 11. House Boat Timing - they providing services from 12pm to 9am - 21 hrs of cruise. 3hrs they taking for Cleaning the boat. We highly recommend to spend your money in paying 5star hotels near by Backwater resources in Allaypee. Dont just go by the words of Marketing Lady. She is gave you the feel of luxury cruise. It's not like that in actuals. Recommendations: plan your trip on Weekdays. They creating artificial demand on weekends. Visit directly and choose the House boat. Places like SN Junction, Govt House boat Yard. Merit: Cook: The Young Cook is very humble and good in Cooking 5star.

The worst boathouse and the very worst owner I ever seen, no proper response from owner even don't pick phone if it's emergency or nor... We asked for 1 bedroom boat for 2 people only , but he gave us a 2 bedroom boat without intimating and charged us for 2 bedroom. We can't pay less because they collect money before showing the boat . So be careful with them ,pls choose any other good one's. After vacating boat we bargained amount but they don't even respond and no respect as well.

Staff was polite and very accommodating, food (Kerala style) was lip smacking, however the house boat (deluxe) is in dire need of maintenance, we had leaky bathroom faucet, broken door knobs etc. The trip was good one time experience, would have rated 5star if the boat was well maintained.

The house boat cruise was really wonderful and a memorable one. The food served during the trip was very tasty and sufficient enough. The staff on board were very helpful in giving us suggestions and tips to enhance the activities which made the trip a special one......!!

The tour was amazing, we saw so many sea eagles and other wildlife. The food at lunch was incredible - the flavours and spices were perfect... all food was prepared fresh onboard the boat which you could tell. The crew were lovely and very easy going and chatty. I will be back if I return to Kerala!

We had a one day stay in the house boat. They were so helpful in assisting us with all the conveyance. Food was good too. Room heating was provided via the electric blanket and a wood burning vessel which kept us warm during our stay. Except for few power supply cut issues it was all good

I came to Alappy to enjoying the enjoyment backwater last week. We book pulikattil house boat and checked in for a daycruice the staff was very cooperative and helpful we started cruise with a welcome drink in lunch they served delicious food with spicy chicken Curry and fish fry.The food was very really delicious we really enjoyed the day trip and definitely we will come again in Alappy to enjoy the enjoyment back water and we definitely opt pulickattil house boat.

Not good, we planned in 16th of may'2023, before booking he send images of boat and i asked to send actual images, she told me same will be provide at the time of check in. Once we reached and checked the boat its very poor maintenance, not good, room are not good. i complaint to management also then thay changed the all bed sheets. Food - very good

We booked a day cruise. The service and the hospitality of the staffs was very good, however should have looked into the food a bit better, needs improvement on the taste especially when it becomes immensely imp in any family trip. Eventhough we opted for a non a/c options, we have requested for a/c in the rooms (with additional pay), it was not possible for them, didn’t completely understand the reason (generators were not there, AC was not working etc etc), however such an option should be given for tourists. I recommend them because of the very reasonable fare, hospitality and flexibility during the ride.

Houseboat was a great experience with kids and family! Pulickattil management and houseboat crew were amazing. We booked a two BR houseboat which was very spacious. Food was excellent and chef catered to all our requests. Riding through the backwaters and enjoying local experiences makes for a great trip. Thanks Pulickattil team for your hospitality!

WORST WORST WORST Experience Extremely unprofessional management. We booked a houseboat in September for a couple. The pulickatil guy charged us a much higher than market rate saying onam rush as reason and promised a great service. But he is just another money minded coners cutting selfish businessman who spoiled our experience and cheated us. First he promised us boarding on one spot which is in middle of city. Then on the day of boarding he demanded us to come to his shop to pay the balance payment in cash before boarding. After payment he said the boarding point in far off somewhere outside the city which we had to go through heavy traffic at that time. Upon asking why change points he rudely replied take it or leave it. Of course going to the far off point made us late to houseboat boarding by 2 hours. Also stopped the boat early in evening and deboarded us about 2 hours prior to promised some more morning time boat ride before starting which also he skipped. Also dint take us to the village visit.

A day well spent. very nice experience. The boat was really awesome.The rooms were neat and well arranged. And the food was great, too. We really enjoyed Definitely, we will recommend Pulickattil House Boats to others. Thank you.

It was an excellent ride with the god behavior crew members!! We opted for two bedrooms which was a good choice than other boats i would suggest. Charged 16k. Food was tasty with good service. The cook and the kitchen was hygienic. I would suggest you to pick two bedroom boat of theirs. i would say it was worth for a 12k rupees.

This houseboat has been well,and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend there .the lunch they served us was delicious and top of quality. The boat is fully equipped with everything you might need. You've been so kind to provide us with such a fantastic day tour.

Very nice experience. We were two families including 7 people. Real friendly and supporting staffs. Great food! We were all fish lovers and enjoyed the fish but very good options provided for one of our veg eating family members. We also bought fish from the island and they cooked at the boat without any additional charges. We would highly reccomend them if you are planning to go there. But even during end of December the place is hot and humid. The bedroom has an AC but you have to pay 2000 Rs extra if you want the AC

1. We booked a premium package for a 2 bedroom boat/4 persons for 14k. For 1 day. 2. I mentioned the premium package very clearly while booking because it has full time AC. 3. We were given a normal houseboat without full time AC. 4. We arrived aboard the boat in scorching heat, only to find stuffy, smelly rooms, with no AC.They said ACs would be available only after 6 pm. 5. Later they told us that the website was outdated and they had given us the basic package. 6. Should they not have mentioned that while booking? 7. We asked for refund but didn't get one. 8. So, basically, we spent 14k on a stuffy boat ride. 9. Is there a legal resource for such frauds?

We enjoyed our one night stay in the backwaters of Vembanad lake. We hired a 3 bedroom houseboat from Pulickattil Houseboat. The staff onboard were courteous and well mannered. They were super helpful and took care of all our requirements. However, the houseboat was old and not well maintained. It requires refurbishing and upkeep. We had opted for premium menu. While the food was tasty, the food spread should be better especially the morning breakfast.
