The waiting staff were I can only describe as totally incompetent as for the the doctor well let me tell you , I had a delicate matter to attend ,I had given my groin a bash or by accident my girlfriend had and after six days of ouch I decided a medical expert should have a look and make sure all was ok ! I went ,I paid 93 euro to be told without any examination " you should be fine " we don't examine testicular problems we just guess ! Have a pain killer and apply ice ...I'm from Dublin ,,if you did this in Dublin you would be in court for mal practice! I'm going to get a plane home for a doctor,for some reason here people think that being a doctor means your a good doctor!im afraid like all professions there is a difference of good and just ,and no one hires because you just are ! If you can find a good doctor in this area please let me know because I've never seen this even in the third world !

    Had to come here for a visit on our vacation due to my husband having severe tooth pain and cheek swelling. We are Americans, so obviously do not have EU health insurance. The emergency room was very efficient. He was seen and discharged with prescription, and we had meds in hands 25 mins after entering the emergency room. Hospital was very clean, staff spoke excellent English, and price was only 100€ for consultation. It put US emergency departments to shame. Would recommend if you unfortunately need medical care on a holiday.

    Consistently long wait times for pre booked appointments.Why book appointments at all. The longest time being 2.5 hours. This is not the type of service I expect from a clinic where a 10 minute ultrasound is 140 Euro.

    i did my online booking and after arriving to hospital got my appointment very fast (5mins) doctor was fantastic and professional, unfortunatelly to make a payment for it i waited 40 minutes! 40 minutes after i already seen the doctor to finally pay for service. if you are unable to provide other way of payment hire more ppl, its unacceptable to wait so long while youre not feeling well.

Hoje dia 6 chegamos ao hospital da CUF Sintra por volta das 9:00, retirou-se uma senha para ser atendida, e enquanto estávamos na sala que dá aceso aos exames especiais, pouco depois o meu tlm toca e quando me preparo para atender, a chamada desliga, e de de imediato o funcionário que estava no atendimento chama a minha mulher pelo seu nome, e apercebi-me de que tinha sido ele a efetuar a chamada. Quando a minha mulher chegou junto do balcão informou-a de que aquele exame já não tinha acordo com a ADSE , e que o seu valor era de 240 euros. Obviamente , que estavam á espera de que ao comunicarem em cima da hora do exame, ele acabasse por ser efetuado por aquele valor, quando tiveram tempo mais que suficiente para o fazer com a devida antecedência, evitando a deslocação ,conforme demonstro nos vários contatos acima referidos. Fica aqui um alerta para todos aqueles que são beneficiários da ADSE, e que pretendam efetuar qualquer acto médico em hospitais privados questionem sempre os mesmos para que á última da hora não sejam enganados, porque conforme fica bem demonstrado para eles o que está primeiro que tudo são os lucros.

    Excellent, quick emergency room with assistance in English and Portuguese. The radiology department is very good with modern equipment and very detailed reports. Can recommend the family doctors as well. The best place for private care if you are comfortable with the additional cost

    I went to the hospital to check shoulder the doctor asked about some echo so he can see what’s wrong with my shoulder, Couldn’t find it the same day so they asked me to come after 1 week, when i did them i wanted to give them back to the doctor since he asked me for them, they charge me 120euro just to give the echo back to doctor and i have already paid the echo and the First appointment.     CUF cancelled a major pregnancy scan of mine, 2 hours before the appointment. I had made the appointment 2 months in advance. They rescheduled the appointment for a full month later which was too far out of the timeline. Not willing to help with trying to pull it forward, so had to cancel altogether and find elsewhere at the last minute which was a nightmare. Terrible service from this 'hospital'.     I just wanted to share my experience in CUF Sintra I visited the doctor Filipe Garcia ( Immunoalergologist) who literally saved my life! I had so bad allergy so I couldn’t breath for 2 days. So when I came for the appointment with this doctor, I noticed a high level of professionalism and empathy. After I received a treatment, I started to be better after 1 hour!
