    I’m down to only one star based on today experience. Updated below. Having a machine in the entrance of the parking of the hospital where everyone has to press the same button that no one cleans doesn’t seem very adapted to pandemic times. With the prices they are charging for that parking ( which are excessive) they could easily update the maquine to automate the ticket or hire a person to press the button for you. Staff inside it’s mostly friendly, specially nurses and doctors, but we had to wait almost an hour with a 4 month old baby, while having an appointment first time in the morning. I would highly recommend more effort on meeting the visit hours. (Update from the 30-05-22) my husband had a appointment today for surgery, he arrived and registered on time. He was waiting to be called (asking several times if there was any problem and being told he will be called shortly) and after 4 hours he found out talking to a supervisor the people from reception never register his entrance properly.. (the same people who was confirming he will be called shortly) and the surgeon already left. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We had to ask for permission at work and arrange things with kids. Please beware the staff you have. (I wrote a formal complaint btw)

    The staff at the front desk are really lovely and helpful. Here is a suggestion. There should be a list of the waiting numbers and how long it will take. Instead they list the number that is already in with the doctor so it’s confusing. Hay muchas Mutuas y seguros sanitarios que tienen como uno de sus Hospitales al Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya (Mutua General de Catalunya, que nació con el propio hospital. Adeslas y muchas otras). En la página WEB del Hospital puede localizarse un listado de todas ellas. Este mes de Octubre de 2020, me tuvieron que intervenir de cataratas. Se realizó en el Hospital General de Catalunya, a través del OMIQ (Oftalmología Médica y Quirúrgica) que está ubicada en el mismo Hospital (planta baja). Tuve la oportunidad de conocer todas estas actividades que llevan a cabo los profesionales sanitarios (doctores, enfermeros, etc.) de este departamento. Lo que más me llamó la atención es el spà para los ojos que anuncian. L'Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya también celebra la Navidad de 2020, lo cual levanta los ánimos.

    We had our baby here. Very good experience with gynecologist and pediatricians after birth. Our Spanish is not very good but it was good that all doctors and most nurses here spoke English. Doctors and nurses were well qualified and did a very professional treatment. Room and food provided post delivery was very nice. Only not satisfactory part was the certification department which takes care of birth certificate was closed in August. We were let to do this procedure on our own.

    I was sent to this hospital in order to perform a surgery for my infected sinuses and to fix septum. I was taken care of by all the staff there in the best possible way. All the doctors and nurses were making sure I was fine at all times. After the surgery, I was recovering in a private room which was nice and clean. Doctor Nunez did an amazing job!
