They stole our belongings from inside the room while we were out. The staff did nothing to fix the problem nor help us in any way. Terrible experience, no service available and rude staff. The pool (which was supposed to close at 8pm) was opened at 1am to a group that made noise all night. Don't come here. Edit, in response to the comment of the structure to the reviews of our group: We haven't been warned in any way that the structure and the inside of the room was unsecure, otherwise we wouldn't have come in the first place. Our room was not shared and only us had the keys. There was no need to keep our goods inside the lockers because they were not of high value (like money or jewelry), but sun glasses, swiss knifes and other stuff, quite expensive in total, but not particularly sensitive in general. Furthermore, I think that if someone was able to get inside a locked room, would have been able also to open a 5$ locker. I think that your way of trying to put the blame on us is unaxceptable, we behaved in a completely ordinary and respobasble way. A private room is supposed to be a safe place. The security of the structure is your job, I don't care how high the fence is. The fact is that there was a theft and no one didn't even bother to go checking what happened, so I don't really believe you did anything to improve the security. You were rude and you still are, please at least don't lie saying you care for your clients.

we were a party of 4 that booked this hostel for six nights. our flight got majorly delayed and we weren’t able to make it the first night of our stay. when we finally arrived it was 2:00 am, and they told us that because we had not checked in on the first day, they had canceled our entire reservation. the staff was extremely rude. since it was 2 am there were no hotels open that we could check it into, and we had nowhere to go. they literally threw us out on the street. we had to take another 50 euro taxi back to the airport and sleep on the floor at the airport. horrible experience

Great hostel, but if you're taking the train there, prepare for a 15 minute hike up a steep hill to arrive. Make sure to visit the restaurant if reception is closed to get checked-in, otherwise you'll be waiting with no end.

Stay here!!! I have travelled all over the world, and stayed in various hostels- this is my favorite so far. A gorgeous, breezy location overlooking the city. About a 15min train ride from Barcelona’s La Rambla. Whats best, is how friendly, accommodating and helpful the staff are. I misplaced my room key twice and they were so nice about it. The rooms are CLEAN, cleaned daily, bathrooms as well. Additionally, they hire only disabled staff to service the kitchen, rooms and so on- contributing back to the community in and way they can. I would definitely stay here again and recommend INOUT Hostel, Barcelona to anyone wishing to stay in a beautiful, friendly spot just outside the city.

The management staff one grey long Curly hair was very rude and unwelcoming. Would not say it was a hostel, many locals use , which is fine. However they do seem to have much older gentlemen who like to drink and be loud. As everyone else says it is not 5 minute walk it’s around 15. The showers were filthy , toilets blocked with tissue and the obvious. The city itself is lovely and if you want to stay out of the city , do not go here. Stayed 5 nights out of 7. Mainly due to fact I didn’t sleep there much either, I caught the s1 / s2 line last one each night and up and out first thing in morning. As there was nothing else to do there other then that. Saw no wild pigs either, gutted.

The place STUNK of dirty kitchen- oil and fat. The photos of the dining area do not adequately represent the food and the eating area and are false advertising. The internet is also terrible in the rooms and Not all the toilets flush properly in the women’s bathrooms. Finally- does not feel safe at all. Police were in the dorm at midnight. Location is nice though, very pretty

Located in a nice quiet area but far from the center which is not bad if they offer a low price for your dates. However it needs to be refurbished and the should pay more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and especially bathrooms.

This hostel is not close to the city center (35min tram ride) which is unfortunate, but more than that I am absolutely disgusted by the state of the rooms. In a 10 bed room, only 1 of the beds were made, and the others are quite visibly dirty - with contacts and fake nails strewn about, in addition to half drunk bottles and bags of trash. I made a comment to the front desk earlier yet was assured that it was made. Upon coming back, it wasn’t, and as I am writing this review (22:27) nothing has changed. We tried to complain to reception, but it seemed to have already been closed at 21:45 when we showed up. I am not one to normally complain or write reviews, but this is absolutely horrid and completely unacceptable. Do not stay here if you are coming to Barcelona.

One star was not enough for me so I had to give a proper review of this hotel. Why did I mark the rooms as a 1 star ? Maybe because I didn't have the chance to see them because the hotel service was so rude to me, not wanting to have any compromise after an accidental cancellation of a room. In a word, very upset, I wonder what is the color of the room's walls, I'll probably never know

We stayed for one night and overall enjoyed our experience. The checkin staff were very friendly and helped us out with a small problem that we had. However, dinner was below our expectations and quite expensive. It was 8€ for a pizza from the freezer and 8€ for a very small serving of meatballs and potatoes. We paid a little more on Hostelworld and the breakfast only included a pastry or toast with ham plus a coffee. We had some great interactions with the staff, but unfortunately some were quite rude and not welcoming to tourists. You should know that the walk from the train to the hostel is quite steep. Oh and the wild pigs were everyone on the road - go for a walk after 10pm to see some!

The hostel is a bit far from city center. Cleanliness can be improved and food is average. The staff are mostly with disabilities and keep the place in order. Its a long uphill walk from the closest railway station.

They don't give linen, the kitchen to cook is tiny and not efficient, it took us 45 minutes to cook pasta since the water just wouldn't boil. The breakfast included is "eatable", the workers are really nice tho. And the location is amazing, you are really close to many hiking trails and it's peaceful.

I am not a guy who is making comment in each corner! couse I think I have no Time for that! but when I saw just 3.9 stars for this amazing spot in Barcelona I was surprised and a bit angry ! OK guys, might be its not super new, not cleaned up like 5* Hotel, Food not delicious like in Michelin restaurant ! BUT everything is 100% ok for Hostel standards! Location is Amazing, most safe part of Barcelona, all green, fresh air, kinda you are in National Park AND most important thing AURA, Positive and Happiness. Staff is superb, I had feeling i was part of this big family ! And after leaving the hostel I have feel I have HOME in Barcelona, where ill be back defiantly.

Pros + super friendly and helpful staff + absolutely reasonable prices + a good cause + clean + 24h-reception + good location (for hiking e.g.) Cons - bad location (with respect to Bcn and on a mountain) +- no classic hostel-atmosphere Of course, it always depends on what you are looking for. It is not a classical party hostel with plenty of bars and clubs in the neighborhood but rather a quiet place, located within a forest. Therefore it is good for taking a walk in the hills but also BCN is relatively quickly reached as the train station is less than 10 minutes on foot (and then around 20 minutes to Placa de Catalunya). I spent four nights in the hostel to get my semester abroad sorted out and the staff was super helpful with this. Compared to other hostels in downtown BCN it also saved me a lot of money. However, if you're traveling with heavy luggage, this might not be the best place to stay (as I had to find out the hard way) as it is a steep and perceived endless walk from the train station to the hostel. Hint: there's a shortcut right after the bus stop at the mountain foot, which is even steeper but significantly shorter. Last but not least: the hostel is a far too seldom encountered point of well-done inclusion. As far as I could tell all staff members have some sort of disability but this neither affects the service, nor the cleanliness of the facility. Depending on my plans (and luggage or transport medium) I would definitely stay here again!

If you want to stay outside city centre infact out of city then it's good but no supermarkets...its in a village and very far from city and metros stopped working after 12 no vehicle only private vehicles you can afford but honestly i didn't like it because if you are coming for less days then better go for better options.

Well, sadly we had a nightmare getting here and then on arrival was told we had to pay city tax (which I assumed I had paid) though I was told that this was a different tax to the one I paid via booking anyway after this we were given a key to a dorm room though I explained that we had paid for a private room. Eventually we got our key to our 'private' room which was infact a very dirty and basic 6 bed dorm room without other guests THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE ROOM AS YOU ADVERTISED. The pool was dirty the facilities are embarrassing and I cannot fathom as a backpacker who has travelled over 50 countries staying in hostels why anybody would class this place as good. I wish I had booked a hotel pr hostel elsewhere. P.s don't book if you aren't driving, the walking is dangerous as there are wild boars EVERYWHERE.

Group of 7 travelling and stopping here for two nights. Room was decent, albeit a bit dirty in the corners and in drawers. Other members in the hostel were very friendly, no problems there during our stay - no overly loud guests. Staff not great at resolving issues in the hostel, dinner was not up to standards, we were rather disappointed with it. Pool was enjoyable and a big bonus. Beware of the big hill leading up to the hostel, very hard walk with big bags on the back. Otherwise just a hill walk down to the metro line.

Don’t stay here!!! Fraudulent advertising and the staff are incompetent. I stayed here on the 11th - 14th September, booking a private room with my own bathroom. The room was not as described. My room was supposed to come with a seating area, desk and a fan. There was no seating area or desk. Just 2 bunk beds and the fan did not work. I also noticed that they advertise a wardrobe in the advert - I didn’t see that either! The door handle for my bathroom would also fall off whenever I tried to close it from the outside, making it virtually impossible to close the door as without the handle the door would not close (it was a self locking door with keycard access). This was a real problem as the bathroom was not actually in my room. The restaurant menu is also wrong. They don’t serve half of what is on there, only pizza and sandwiches. When I raised my concerns with the front desk, the receptionist just chuckled about it with regards to the bathroom door and when I told him about the restaurant menu not being correct, he said that “because the property is a hostel, it is not their responsibility to provide food to the guests.” Now what is purpose of a restaurant and what is the point of having one on site if it’s not their responsibility to feed their guests??? With regards to the fan, he told me that I won’t need it because it doesn’t get hot at night in Barcelona, which is completely beside the point. If the room is supposed to have a fan according to the description, then it should be featured in the room and working!!! When I told him about the missing facilities in my room, he said that they are not part of it. They have a designated reception, but you have to go to the restaurant to check in and out as the receptionist also helps out there, which means having to walk further after having to literally climb a mountain and risk getting attacked by wild boars that live in the surrounding area to get to the property to begin with! The cleaners also bang on your door at 10am and try to kick you out during the daytime, which makes for an even more unpleasant experience. Although this only happened to me on the second day so it’s not all of them, but still something that should be addressed. Sleeping at night here is also impossible as even though quiet time is between 0:00 and 7:00, you still hear people revving car and motorbike engines, shouting, partying and generally being disruptive all night. I also contacted the property after my stay to complain about the issues mentioned above and they address or even respond to my complaints! They also boast about how they employ disabled people yet they take advantage of them, making them work really long hours. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I didn’t exactly enjoy my stay. I hope the local trading standards authority inspect them and shut this sorry state of a property down! You also have to make your own bed!

gave 4 star even if for the kitchen i used would have been 3 or less, i liked everything else, spacious, middle of nature, big park near by, easy with trasports

There were many banging doors during the morning which was very annoying. Another morning was calmer. The dors are not well set so they bang each time someone is not following slowly its closing. Some people in the dorm don't care about others sleeping (light until late, calling at night, alarm left for 3 times, packing stuff in the night...) In January, the heater are set to very hot and windows left wide open even at night in the bathroom. This is nonsense! The common spaces are impersonal and not cosy in the building I was. Appart from that, the place was okay, nature around. The train is convenient.

I want to start with the fair price, good value for the money, the area is quite, the beds are comfortable, although the staff is not so friendly, the place is uncomfortable, the smell is not amazing, the shower is inside the room, the sounds of the pipes are loud and the water flow is very weak

The hostel is budget friendly. Quality of rooms and the service is worth the money. But the location and the state of sanitation and the no if bathrooms can be improved. Not a lot of clear instructions or information is provided on how to use the swimming pools and the play area provided by the property. A group of three or four cannibal wild board roam freely around the property who reside in the surrounding forests.

This hostel is a bit far out of town, and a bit of a hike to get there by foot (offroad). For anyone using an electric scooter - I recommend alternative transport as you will run out of battery on the hills up to the hostel.

Inout Hostel is a beautiful stay located in a lovely, calm, serene place atop the hills adjoining valviderera station. The place is non-profit, and supports social causes like environment and specially abled people. Most staff there is specially abled. The rooms are neat, and the food is good and cheap. We used the swimming pool and played table tennis. Some used the gym. The place was safe with good trust worthy staff and cctv. If you have luggage or small children and you are not having vehicle (so walking from valviderrera train station), it might be 10 minutes of steep climb. We had to once walk carrying 4 backpacks and my sleeping 5 yr old daughter, but the effort was still worth the lovely place. Ajeet Mishra CEO, Quantafic Business Pune, India

The hostel is a bit off Barecolna Central but that is exactly what makes it so special. It is peaceful, no pollution, no cars. The hosts are super nice. The people staying there are wonderful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hostel, kind and lovely staff. They have rooms with different configuration inc ones which have private washrooms inside the room. They do not have a kitchen but do have a restaurant where they offer all 3 meals of the day. The restaurant is beautiful both indoor and outdoor seating. What I loved about the place was the warmth shown by the team. They offer towels as well incl in the room price. The place is located on a hill top. There is a uphill climb of almost 700m from the train/tram station at the foot of the hill. We reached the place at midnight but the reception was still open. Do come to the hostel to enjoy living in the nature away from the city buzz.

very unfriendly staff, a old lady is very rude. we were asking something she said why are you asking. that is not the attitude we deserved. i am tourist of course i will ask something i am trying to understand where the reception is cause the reception is not in the place which written as reception. the same lady also told that they might not provide us beds just because we arrived a day later than our booking started although we chatted with them about late arrival. we accepted that to pay 1 extra day we hadn't arrived to city. she collected our passports and told us we should wait. after we waited a half an hour she told that we can come inside to have a room key with very bad hand gestures. she is an old lady we do not want to be disrespectfull but not us but someone can teach a lesson to how to communicate with people , especially clients. we stayed a airport a day before we were very tried. after we got key, immediately we went to bed and slept. then the same lady came to room and switched in the lights in the middle of a day, it was around 3pm. i do not know what is wrong with her. she seems that she doesn't like clients. beds and rooms are not bad but staff makes the hostel bad. we rent a car to travel to city we had no issue with the location of the hostel. i can not imagine their breakfast they offer. we purchased a breads, cheese and salam. that might be cheaper and good quality than hostel offered.

My room's door lock was jammed with toilet paper upon my arrival. There was no one else living in it. They give free breakfast for basic booking. And the draft beer is 2€. Everything was fairly clean. I didn't liked that I have to rent the sheets for the bed. No towel included in basic price and there are no soap or shampoo in the shower.

Quite a unique hostel in terms of surroundings and semi-outdoor experience while not far from the city. Not really comfortable to stay at for long time though since, for example, now the kitchen is closed due to the COVID, and when it's open, it's only 13-14:30 and 19-20:30, if I remember right. Also you normally have to pay for bedsheets, from what the rules say. The staff is really nice and welcoming.

Just 5 stars for the friendly stuff and the awesome engagement in doing good :) it's not only a hostel.. Its also a social and sustainable project. Even there are some facilities not available due to Corona they managed very well on the bed situation. Plenty of space for everyone. Absolutely happy.

We have to admit that 2-3 km is sadly only a poor lie😭. Arriving by bike can be a quite dangerous action if you take into consideration the wild pigs in the forest nearby.🐗😵
