I spent 8 months on business at Aparthotel Atenea Valles and I know this hotel in every aspect. The space available to guests is large and convenient to use. The interior design is modern, bright with large windows and useful. Option with your own kitchen is ideal for people who like to cook or have their own diet. Service, if you don't refuse it, cleans room everyday and is really nice and clean. The upper floors give great views - I prefer the direction to the sunsets, which are really beautiful. Kitchen offers a varied breakfast with good quality products, it is really difficult to complain. In the afternoon there is also a nice menu and the place is very aesthetic with large windows for a small park. The great advantage is its location in a quiet town Granollers away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona's tourists. It is certainly cheaper, but above all calmer and if the temperature does not bother you, you can sleep with the open window and nobody will disturb you. Granollers is great because you have a small walk to a large city center where there are a lot of premises, shops and all services. There are no tourists so you can get to know the real Spanish life. Also 15 minutes walk you have to the train station and you can reach Barcelona in 30 - 40 minutes and the airport at the terminal T2 in an hour, then by local bus to terminal T1. I managed to fit in 2 hours after touching the aircraft wheels at the airport [ with all operations ] until entering the room in practically for a few €. Railway connections also allow trips over further distances like Girona, Fiqueres. A second railway line, about 30 minutes away on foot, allows you to travel to Vic, Manlleu. You can visit several places in a cheap and ecological way. If you want to travel by car, in a few minutes you will find yourself on expressway and in 3-4 hours get to every corner of Catalonia. The hotel has its own underground car park but requires some maneuvering skills. Even immediate surroundings are very interesting and if you ride a bike or traveling by foot you will have great fun next dor. SPA zone is well equipped, although I prefer the Scandinavian sauna, here is Turkish, showers, rest area, as well as everything as it should be in good quality. There is a small gym, a bit modest, but if someone work out, they will have something to do. If you like to work out very intensively, you have a sports center with a good gym and pool, two blocks away. I highly recommend this area and hotel for a longer stay, which you want to spend intensively exploring Catalonia but you do not want the hustle and bustle. A great option outside the summer season. In summer, as well as during events on the F1 racetrack, it may be bad with rooms availability and prices are less friendly. If you book, try to bargain: ) If you want, refer to this opinion, maybe it will do something. If you are interested in other opinions about nearby places, I will post on Google. How will I have time: )!!!

The reception staff is very friendly and the room was good in terms of space. On the negative side, the rooms are dated, had a broken window which was difficult to open and close, and an infiltration on the front door of my room, had ants in the room floor as well. Every night I could hear noise from the outside, people talking loudly right next to the hotel. The breakfast is poor, didn't have a lot of good considering it's a 4star hotel. Laundry service is super expensive. Also I wish there was a swimming pool. The wi-fi is awful. Doesn't work properly or doesn't work at all.

The entry hall looks nice, and it has cute little decorations, but the rooms were very old, the additional bed was scaringly instable, the bathroom almost falling apart, the mattress was probably used way too much and for 200 Euro per night it was disappointinting that nothing goes back to keep the rooms in shape. The breakfast was so sad, no salad, no vegan options but the waitresses were lovely.

We stayed here for the World Superbikes race, great location close to town and the shops and took a taxi to the circuit each morning. The staff have been fantastic. So incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very varied and delicious with a great selection of sweet and savoury food. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. I would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel has affordable price and quality is good, spa is also nice (jacuzzi and Turkish bath). Breakfast is fine, certainly not bad. Only main negative and weird thing is that there was no soap at the toilet. Staff at check-in was not very friendly, staff at breakfast and check out was friendly.

Good price hotel well equipped and clean, I choose it because of the price and the presence of kitchenette in the room. There was everything to have a breakfast and a quick dinner Clean and big room, I appreacciated a lot the silence during the night. I didn't have their breakfast but for what I saw it seemed good. I do not give 5stars because the furniture of the room is quite old and the gym room as well.

This beautiful and clean hotel we stayed for 2 nights, answered all our needs. A small kitchen has all kinds of utensils. Breakfast met our expectations and was adequate. We had no problems with internet access. The staff is very kind and helpful. On the other hand, the hotel is within walking distance of Aldi and Carrefour market.

After such a hectic trip this was heaven. Beautiful and well maintained. Very comfortable for my family of 5. Felt safe and at peace. The food options were great all day long. They even helped us call a taxi because uber wasn’t responding. Close to the train station. Saw a lot of restaurants nearby but we didn’t stay long enough for me to explore

Excellent customer service when you first arrive, happy and informative multi-language front desk. Free Wi-Fi, breakfast able to be bought, fine cuisine dinner available when schedule allows. Rooms are very clean, very high pressure water for great showers. For a short or long stay in Barcelona this is a great option. When visiting Barcelona, go see Flamenco dance and guitar that is inspired by the great Sabicas of the Flamenco guitar music world. Watch artists such as Geronimo Maya, world class Flamenco players and their famous guitars while in Barcelona today!

Very kind receptionist. Rooms are big and clean. Prices are ok. The restaurant is a mess. You sit on a table 30 minutes without a drink or food. No waiter wants to serve you. High prices for 0 service.

We went there with our two kids.I was really surprised by the size of the rooms. Quite spacious and big than we expected. This place in not in Barcelona but there is a train station at about 10mins walking distance. There was a daily room service which was very efficient. We used to come back from Barcelona around 10 o' clock and all the time therw was someone at the reception to greet you.Hotel staff was very friendly and they had good info about nearby places to enjoy. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

There is a hotel called Aparthotel Atenea in Barcelona close to the airport, that is the hotel i booked through Expedia. My search criteria was “close to airport” the Aparthotel Atenea Came up and I booked. However a programming error or data base error on Expedia’s part booked me at this hotel- “Aparthotel Atenea Valles” which is one hour from the airport. I was traveling with 2 small children, one of which had had food poisoning, hence the reason we just need a something very close to the airport. When I tried to cancel both Expedia and Aparthotel Atenea Valles denied the cancellation and refund and then proceeded to lie to me telling me that it was the choice of the other. Hotel said Expedia wouldn’t allow the cancellation and Expedia said the hotel wouldn’t allow it. So i paid for a night that we didn’t say. Very unethical and unprofessional on both parts. I am a single mother it’s its pretty upsetting that these corporations stole from me.

The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful! The rooms are absolutely superb, and maintained to an excellent standard. The location is perfect just a 10 minute walk from a metro station or a 30 minute drive to Barcelona.

Great town-centre hotel in Granollers, close to train & road links & good shopping. Friendly staff, very clean large rooms, ours had a small kitchen equipped with everything needed including a full-size fridge, kettle & microwave. Hotel food also very good & reasonably priced.
