Excellent hostel. Spacious room, courtyard, and kitchen. Plenty bathrooms too. There is a nice restaurant on the corner. One down side is the hostel is far from La Rambla center.

Absolutely fantastic hostel to stay in, very close to the metro. Surrounding area is safe and has lots of bars, cafes and nice squares to relax in. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They are very eco friendly and it shows throughout. We stayed in a private room that was very clean and pleasant to stay in. Will definitely be staying here again when back in Barcelona

One of the best hostel we experienced. Have a kids corner, really lovely. Functional and clean kitchen. The location is great, close to everywhere, have many shops around. The servers from stuff are fantastic, helped us a lot. Highly recommended. / Love from Sweden

Casa Jam is the BEST hostel I ever stayed at. The rooms and common areas are comfortable, very clean, thoughtful and stylish. The staff are really friendly, kind and go above and beyond‐ Lucia helped me with my laundry and made sure I was okay when I was feeling sick, I appreciated it so much. Great location‐ in a vibrant neighbourhood yet still quiet and close train stations and several attractions. I will definitely stay at Casa Jam next time I visit Barcelona!

Personnel was really kind and helpful. Shared kitchen is convenient and clean. We only stayed for one night and could drop off our luggage while visiting the city. After we picked up the luggage, we were offered a coffee and could stay for one hour in the kitchen before continuing our travel. Really kind.

So many wonderful things to say about this hostel and the owner Damian. This was my first week in Barcelona and im so grateful for JAM and Damian. I stayed for 6 nights in the room for 6 women. What the hostel is: Great for someone looking for a quieter place, clean, family friendly but still great for meeting people in the shared rooms. Excellent location in Gracia neighborhood, which I highly recommend for someone looking to stay somewhere less chaotic than the main tourist areas. Less touristy but is walking distance to shopping, cafes, restaurants and easy access to the metro (5-10 min walk). Gracia is a 10 minute metro ride to major tourist spots. Safe to explore at night. People are out on the streets but it’s not loud. Amazing service, Damian welcomed me at the front desk and is so kind, welcoming and helpful. I was even able to check in a little early. All the staff were very kind and while I speak Spanish, they also could help me in English. He gave me a tour of the space, made me coffee, and then went over a map and answered my questions about where he recommended. Very clean, and feels very safe. The common area has a great kitchen and lots of seating. My favorite was the coffee that was always available. Not a ton of cozy places to sit was my only complaint. The rooms felt very clean and the bathrooms were cleaned daily. There was an AC that at one point didn’t seem to work, and they fixed it immediately. The outdoor space is so cute, only downside is how hot is can be in summer since it’s in direct sun. What it’s not: Not a party hostel, if you’re looking to go out a lot at night and meet a lot of young people, this may not be the hostel for you. I met wonderful room mates in my shared room and we went out and spent time together. But it’s not a big hostel with large group events. Overall, great for the value. Would highly recommend and stay again. I love the neighborhood and the values that JAM has.

Nice historical location, clean hostel and good kitchen with all included things for cooking. I liked I had a girls room. The room also was clean and nice. Only thing is there is no curtains for the bed, so you can’t have privacy.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Casa Jam in Barcelona with my friend Viki. The experience was truly unforgettable, and here's why: First and foremost, Casa Jam's location is simply unbeatable! Situated right in the heart of Gracia, we were surrounded by the vibrant energy of the city. It made exploring Barcelona a breeze, and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to base our adventures. The staff at Casa Jam were like rays of sunshine throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to assist us with recommendations for the best places to visit and dine in the city. Their warmth and willingness to help made us feel right at home. Speaking of home, the hostel's atmosphere was incredibly cosy. It had that perfect balance of comfort and a social vibe, making it easy to meet fellow travelers and exchange stories. Cleanliness is a top priority for us when staying in hostels, and Casa Jam exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was hands down the cleanest we've ever seen in a hostel – a testament to the staff's dedication to maintaining a pristine environment. The flexibility to store our luggage after check-out was a lifesaver. It allowed us to make the most of our last day in Barcelona without lugging our bags around, a small detail that made a big difference in our travel experience. Our room had everything we needed, including a window and AC that kept the temperature just right. The lockers with key cards were a smart and secure touch, giving us peace of mind about our belongings. While I personally found my mattress a bit on the firm side, I have to commend Jesus for being incredibly solution-oriented. His offer to add duvets to the mattress to make it more comfortable was a thoughtful gesture that showed how much Casa Jam cares about guest comfort. In summary, Casa Jam in Barcelona was an absolute gem. From the location to the staff, the cleanliness, and the extra mile they went to make our stay enjoyable, it was a remarkable experience. I can't recommend this hostel enough, and I'm looking forward to returning for another unforgettable stay.

Stayed here for about a week and really liked the place. Room, shower and the kitchen area were all clean. There’s also a coffee machine in the kitchen- where you get FREE coffee- very much appreciated. The place is a little away from the centre but it suited me since I was looking for a quieter place. Loads of good spots to eat nearby and quiet a few popular attractions such as Sagrada Familia and Park Guell are at a walking distance. Overall a great experience! Thanks guys will be back again.

There is no enough words to describe this beautiful place. Buses and metro stations are on just few minutes of walking, there is a shop nearby and there are also some cute restoraunts and coffee shops just around the corner. Stuff is very friendly and kind, they show you everything you need to see in Barcelona and reception is open 24/7! There is a big kitchen where you can cook for yourself and store your food. There is a beautiful terrace with a lot of plants, you can use it from 08:00 to 20:00 o'clock if you are a smoker or just want to catch some fresh air while you drink your all-day-free coffee or tea that receptionists are kindly preparing for you. There is a possibility to wash and dry your clothes for only 4,50€ each or you can use the terrace to dry the laundry. Rooms are nice, beds are firm but pillows are not my type...still sleeping in a climatized rooms is good and without of disturbance. Casa Jam is a clean and cosy place, I would recommend it to anybody! I met a lot of people here, from groups of young girls and boys to families with grandmas and children (yes, there is also a playing corner for children and a big amount of books). This place has almost everything, come and check it yourself, you will never regret it! 😊

I had a great stay at Casa Jam. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms were never too busy. The staff are super friendly and helpful with whatever you need. I was able to check in even after 11pm. There is a kitchen you can use with lots of fridge space so you can bring your own food. The area in Gracia is quiet and beautiful with many nice places for coffee and food nearby. It’s also within walking distance of Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia. I would definitely stay here again

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Jam. It was very clean, tastefully designed, and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped and the patio courtyard is a peaceful oasis. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. This is my second stay here and will be coming back in a few weeks. Truly a home away from home. Thank you so much.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the hostel itself was clean and well-supplied, and the neighborhood was an interesting and safe area of Barcelona. Thank you, Casa Jam!

Good location, close to everything in a silent neighbourhood. Well prepared to work from there and cook and everything. Super comfy.

This is the most satisfactory hostel I have stayed in. I was there for four days. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They provided information on local events everyday. Everything was very clean, beautiful, and well organized. Jam Hostel has the best prices in the city and feels more like a hotel than a hostel. Also, there are friendly and spacious common areas with "family meals" for four euro. I highly recommend it!

Not your typical hostel. This place is nicely designed, staff is friendly, helpful and very professional. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Kitchen is well equipped and maintained. You’ll find all the commodities you need. It is of course not the cheapest place, but you get more of a legere hotel vibe than that of a hostel. Yoga at 10€ per person is a bit overpriced for a hostel. The one thing missing is a bar, which means the place is generally very quiet at most times. Guest were nice. Calm people, many of them working, no party crowd. The location is nice. Gracia feels more like an Urban village. About half an hour walk to Gotico, Eixample and Raval. Recommended if you just want a nice and quiet place to come back to after your day in the city.

Friendly, peaceful, very clean hostel. Comfortable beds, lockers and doors were silent when opening with the key cards. It seemed a little bit too quiet however I believe that it's because of the quiet season (January). Suitable for a digital nomad.

Really nice, friendly hostel. Everything is very clean and well kept. The staff care about your experience there and are helpful. Usually I'm scared of nasty hostel bathrooms but these were probably the cleanest I've ever seen. The area it's in is also cool, safe and quiet. The only bad thing was that you can hear everything as sound travels very easily. I was woken up a few times by noises in the corridor/reception.

Stayed during the Festa Gracia weekend. I was expecting a higher standard. I stayed in the 9bed room with 1 bathroom. The shower was very bad, with no hot water at times. Beds were ok with a light and personal power outlet. Towels are additional 2Eur, no soap provided or available for purchase. Did not interact much with the other guests and there were no social events organised by the hostel during my time here (Yoga did not happen). There were also some really weird older people in the room. Nice front desk staff, and good common spaces. Nice neighbourhood, 15 minutes from the city center by train. I would not return however.

Beautiful, clean, quiet hostel. Gracia is a cool, less touristy neighbourhood that's not too far from the main attractions, but has a relaxed vibe and cool street art. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. With air conditioning, free sheets and blankets, a large bathroom and a locker per bed with a lock that you use your room key to open. The common room/kitchen is also neat and clean, with lots of facilities - fridge, cupboard, sink, stoves, dishes and cutlery. The vibe is very relaxed and pleasant, although sometimes a tiny bit standoffish in some cases. The staff are wonderful - very welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. Overall a delightful hostel. I would definitely recommend here to friends and family coming to Barcelona!

Located in Gracia in a quiet street but close to the metro Joanic, the hostel is very good located. I slept in a 4-bed dorm which was not too big but the beds were comfy and equipped with a reading light and socket. You could also store your valuables. The shower and other facilities were very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. One of the best hostels I stayed at!

This hostel made my trip to Barcelona a blast. We checked in on a Monday and left on a Friday. This place felt like home. They are very environmentally conscious. My 5 friends and I booked a private room. There was air conditioning in our room! The location is great as it is in a nice community with two subway stations a 10 minute walk away and numerous places to shop for food and drink within the area. The common area had a great kitchen with people cooking meals all day. My only gripe was because of how small the hostel is, the common area closed every night at 11. Upside: Great for people who want to get a good nights sleep! Negative: my friends would’ve liked to just sit there and drink for a bit haha. But there are definitely great places to drink that are not too far!

I stayed in a 6-bed room and the place was very well maintained. The toilets are clean and the whole stay was very comfortable. The staff were nice and very welcoming. Do note that you need €5 cash for the deposit for your room key cards! We didn't have cash on us but the staff was very nice and just let us through. There are no soap and shampoo provided, and towels are available for rent. There are lockers for you to keep your items which is also locked by your key cards. There is a nice common area with couches and cushions and a big kitchen to do your cooking. The area has many bars nearby and many bakeries to look for food. You could walk to all of the attractions, the furthest only about 50 minutes walk away, which is doable during good weather. Overall, really enjoyed my stay here, it's cheap and good!!

I loved this place. It was clean and friendly, had a huge terrace with places to hang your own laundry if you prefer to wash by hand, and all the staff members were helpful

Hostel Jam is in one of the best neighborhoods, a lot of local bars and restaurants. What I loved about this place besides the location, how clean and well equipped the hostel is but this hostel has some of the nicest and friendliest staff you will ever meet. 5/5 anytime
