As
a
person
with
celiac
disease,
it's
extremely
important
for
me
to
ensure
that
a
restaurant's
food
is
safe
and
gluten-free.
That
said,
many
places
are
not
reliable
--
nor
are
is
their
staff
well-informed.
Whilst
the
restaurant
is
not
exclusively
gluten-free,
Laila,
Laura,
their
chefs
and
the
staff
are
very
aware
of
my
health
needs
and
always
confirm/re-confirm
the
menu
choices
I
may
have.
I
strictly
avoid
any
dishes
I
have
a
doubt
about.
The
place
is
always
busy,
with
non-stop
orders
--
yet
they
always
answer
me
with
a
smile
and
take
time
to
answer
my
questions.
Hawker's
"DNA"
is
human
and
very
personal.
It
is
an
open,
"street
food"
kitchen,
yet
they
seem
to
have
the
gluten-free
dishes
well
separated.
And
beyond
that,
the
quality
and
taste
sensations
are
truly
something
special.
One
thing
I
do
miss
is
a
clear
code
system
listing
allergens
on
their
menu:
that
would
save
time
and
avoid
the
"twenty
questions"
that
are
necessary
every
time.
Beyond
that,
I
very
much
recommend
Hawker
to
my
gluten-free
friends
and
continue
to
eat
there
regularly.
Enjoy!
