So far from my experience at Antilla Thursday- Bachata Night! free bachata class at 11:15. Friday-Cuban salsa& Bachata Night The party starts late. I recommend you to visit after midnight. Great vibe but don’t expect good cocktails there. I had fun dancing there. The bachata level is food on Thursdays.

Good dance floor and music, but expensive drinks and EXTREMELY rude staff. The girls who work in the bar need a course in how to treat guests and make proper mojitos. I wanted fresh lime in my drink (which is one of the main ingredients in mojitos) but they said no because it was for "the other drinks"?! I paid 8 euros for a mojito with lime juice. We will choose another salsa club next time.

This is one of the more popular salsa / bachata nightclubs in Barcelona. Make sure to check the itinerary to see what is going on each night. There are two separate dance floors / rooms, so depending on the evening there will be different sets.

The atmosphere is pleasant, good Latin music, although there is little place to dance and there are tables that are in areas that are annoying, for example those at the entrance to the VIP room, people come and go all the time and that is uncomfortable.

Salsa evening on Sunday evening. Was fun. There were 2 drinks for the 10€ entrance fee.

Nice place for dancing but staff in the door are not kind at all. I still cannot understand why they have to behave like they do, pretending they are better than anybody and they just listen whenever, and to whomever, they want. Not professional.

Best place to dance Salsa, Bachata and sometimes Kizomba and Zouk with really good (local) DJs. The Main Floor is very nice and relatively big but the 2nd floor is pretty small .. nevertheless okay to dance and good concept in general.. also the way how the entrance is managed (often free but with a "must have consumption"). Totally my place to go and dance all nights in Barcelona.

Okay… sooo I honestly want to give you one star review. But I know how the all go rhythm works… statistically speaking- more people read one star reviews five star reviews. But this place doesn’t deserve a one star., Guys, I am a hard-core salsa dancer. I love Cuban timba… and salsa.. I dance Miami style on 1… yes, please does not disappoint. It’s located close to the center of Barcelona. It is a really good spot on Fridays and Saturdays. I want two nights in a row Friday and Saturday. I will tell you that the clubs don’t get full till after 12 o’clock… so be ready for a long night if you want to dance. By the time you know it it’s 4 o’clock in the morning. Lol so be mindful of your time. There are cover charges… no need to panic, my fellow Americans. A copper which is $12 or $18. covers one or two drinks inside the club. A 1$eu up charge For top top. Shelf… oh, and that the drinks are just fine. There is an upstairs Bachata room that plays Bachata 100% of the time. In the main room at the bottom, which plays Salsa merengue and timba- salsa being 80%. Definitely a great place to come back to get some dancing in. This place closes at 6 o’clock in the morning. No they don’t have bottle service. It’s not worth it. Trust me the drinks are cheap enough. One more thing. The floor is very slippery. So men and women if you like traction, try to bring some shoes that have that a lot of women were taking off their dance shoes because they were slipping all over the place…

Meh. The floor is very slippery and crowded with new and inconsiderate dancers. The music is fine. Not impressive at all. 18€ for entry and two drinks is fine. I guess I got spoiled in Madrid with their pours. I expected a little more whiskey in my whiskey on the rocks. Bartender in the back (miss sunshine) served it to me in a wide bowled wine glass with 4 large cubes of ice. Super annoying to try to sip the little bit of whiskey in the glass with ice slapping you in the face. Then to add insult to injury, they bussed my glass when I went to dance one song. Didn't even finish half of it. Bartender at the front was great. Anyway, 2 stars because there have to be better places to dance salsa on a Saturday night in Barcelona. If you have to settle or it's just convenient, this place is fine.

Awful experience. Rude girls at the bar and even more rude/disrespectful security at the door. Especially the tall old blondish guy. Bar needs to be closed down with that staff.

Service is really really bad. They don‘t know what is a cuba libre ?! They are using fake brands when mixing alcohol… so be very careful what you are drinking… the music was not that good either!! Not to be recommended!!!

worst expierince ever... rude bounchers, dresscode is a joke allowing girls with tights but a guy wearing normal pants cant get in, 40min before closing they where trying to kick us out...till the point where they were cleaning the floor right in front of us. Erasmus students are being kick out for no reason as well... do not recomend if you want something good go elsewhere

Great experience. The biggest advantage was two separate halls, one for Salsa and other for Bachata in this Club. Enjoyed dancing both Salsa and Bachata. There were all categories of dancers beginners, intermediate and advanced. I was alone but was able to find many female dancers in both dances. Danced non-stop for two hours starting 11:30PM on Friday, 3-Feb-2023

One of my favourite places in the world. Wednesday's salsa session with DjNed is always full and a great night whenever you go, it gathers the best latin ambiance and very good dancers of Barcelona. They also do good cocktails. Whether you dance or not, this is a must-visit place in Barcelona at night!

A good bar for dancing. But they played old classics not the new ones when I was here. They play salsa and bachata. Entrance is free but the prices at the bar will rip you off!!! Sprite 6 euros, 3 beers+3 shots and small bottle of water 36 euros. Very expensive and this influenced my rating of this bar.

I was visiting Barcelona and was recommended by a local to try Antilla on Sunday for cuban night and was not disappointed! I got there at 21:30 as I thought there was a class but I think it had just ended when I arrived (must have confused the time). Anyway, I had no problems getting a lot of dances without knowing anyone prior and they played a good mix of salsa/timba/bachata and the dance level was quite good. I didn’t have any issues like some mentioned getting in and I was dressed casual in trainers. When you enter, you’ll be given a red ticket which must be exchanged for a green one by ordering a drink of at least 6€ at the bar. I paid 8€ for a rum & coke so didn’t think prices were bad. Overall I highly recommend Antilla to dance In BCN (at least for Cuban night anyway)!

Just been and I confirm pretty much most of the comments previously mentioned. Just as I was entering, five women were denied entrance by security without him explaining why. I was however let in as despite asking what was happening, it was clear I wasn’t with them. Once in drinks are expensive. Water will set you back five euros for 33cl of it! That’s a killer when you dancing! The women were mostly level 2 and maybe a couple of level 3s but very few actual dancers. However music and dancers, all depends on the night. I went on Saturday night and it was a bust but Sunday night was a Cuban night and it was packed with very strong dancers. Best advice I can give is to always check the promotions on the Facebook page (for antilla and mojito).

We had been there at several evenings during summer '22. Very nice community, good prices, staff ranges from ok to friendly. The DJ were very strange, although everybody there dances cuban style, they play cheesy old Salsa all night long instead of Cuban Timba. Either they don't know better or they get a perverse pleasure out of it. To add insult to injury, they were showing cuban video clips from Pupy, Havana D'Primera etc. on the screens all the time, but never played their music... But if you don't care about the music, it's a great place to go dancing Bachata and Salsa.

The end of an era at Arago. I’ve been dancing bachata and salsa for a while and will really miss it - all good vibes on the dance floor. Thanks for the memories! The place is currently closed as the last night of operations in the Arago was 26 Nov 2023 but I’m hopeful that they’ll find a new home soon!

Antilla is a historic latin club in Barcelona, it has around 30-years-hold. So, They have experienced many Latin genres and mojitos that are really good indeed. It's a good place where people can meet and have a good time dancing. Perhaps the level of the dancers is not really high. However it offers the visitors the opportunity to practice among many levels and most important to socialise and feel latin vibes.

On Wednesday, April 10, when I went to renew the Antilla classes, it occurred to me to ask the administrators at the door if the enrollment was balanced between boys and girls. They have always given me problems to make up a class and this time they answered me in a very bad manner and alluding to a comment I made in the class group that must have made them feel bad and that is that before the classes did fit together, since they did not let you recover in a class where leaders and followers were square. They spoke badly to me and when I answered they told me in a bad way that they would not let me renew. I really believe that the attitude of kicking me out of the school and confronting them because they don't know how to accept a criticism of a fact is going to put the continuity of that school with new and poorly defined managers at greater risk. Lately, after closing their classic store, they have been bothering us with different addresses and problems. Anyway; If I regret anything, it is losing contact with my friends and the teacher. I hope we continue to see each other in the dance halls!

In my opinion, the people who go like to dance salsa but they are not salsa singers as such; Most of them are students who are going to teach what they have learned in classes, but you don't see anyone singing a salsa and enjoying it like every salsa singer is supposed to do in an environment like that. As for the rest, everything else was fine! But I won't go again!
