Feels like a trip to Egypt without going to Egypt. Even though it’s a small museum they have a ton of interesting artifacts. The downstairs area has a huge installment of king tut and some of his personal items I believe. A lot of mummies and detailed statues. It was a cool museum to check out. I recommend, only need an hour or even 45 minutes to see everything.

I am MAD. We liked the exhibit at first. It felt a bit weird as there was absolutely 0 chronological or any sense in the ordering of the exposition but the audio commentary provided kinda bringed it together. We left the bottom floor for last as it seemed like the most exciting one. Then we went there and we were EXTREMELY disappointed. The entire floor is not only not in English but not even in Spanish, it is ONLY in Catalan. Like WHAT? That's so extremely unfriendly to tourists, its 2023 like come on. The app audio commentary wasnt available in English in that floor either and there was no wifi or signal in the floor either, so no Translator.

I tend to always go to the Egyptian museums in every city I go. This one is very simple. Considering the price of entry I don't recommend

Entrance is free for Claris hotel guests. I went around 4 pm on Thursday and there was no line. Museum is small but beatiful. I wanted to visit Egypt after seeing the museum. Museum is able to demonstrate strength of Egyptian culture and civilization. There are several historical artifacts.

The collection is absolutely stunning! It contains a wide variety of artifacts -- from clothing to jewelry and statues of all sizes -- beautifully preserved and presented. It's so interesting, so engrossing, and you'll learn a tremendous amount about Ancient Egypt. Highly recommended!

The collection is great, but unfortunaly we felt a huge disconfort thanks to the security man wich was following us during our visit, wich was not nice and we gave no reason to that happen, except we were the only two black people in the place.

We had booked a private tour through the museum with a workshop with our two kids 6 and 8 years old. The guide was super patient , answered all questions and told us very interesting things. The kids loved it. It is a small museum but shows a wide spectrum of things from ancient Egypt.

The museum is quite small, 2 floors and a basement. Good deal with the Barcelona Card. The exhibitions are interesting. With the app they developed for the phone, you can spend more time there - otherwise, it's around 30 minutes visit.

(Translated by Google) I have done a guided tour and the guide has talked about various and interesting topics. Perfect for novices or versed in the subject, it does not matter because there can always be curiosities for all levels. I was expecting a more basic explanation and I was pleasantly surprised. Amazing because it's an Egyptian museum, full of coffins. But what happened to the Caffe? The Caffe was unmanned a good spot for a picnic. The museum was not full of tourists like the rest of Barcelona. The toilet was clean.

This is a lovely little museum and a must-visit for Egyptology-heads when in Barca. I believe the fee was around 10-12 EUR, and my Egyptian partner was able to enter for free. Though small, it had a wide variety of well-preserved artifacts with plenty of information to take in.

A small and not very famous but very interesting Egyptian museum in Barcelona. Of course, there are many museums in Europe that are far richer in Egyptian artifacts but if you have a little more time in Barcelona, I recommend that you include this in your program - at least some variety of what you can usually see in this city.

My daughter and I visited the museum together on our recent trip to Spain. The exhibits were incredibly impressive! The amount of information, relics and artifacts was stunning. They even had several full mummies! My daughter was in awe! For us there was no wait and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind.

Fascinating place to explore the history and culture of ancient Egypt. The collection is extensive and well-curated, with a range of stunning artifacts from different periods of Egyptian history. The displays are informative and engaging, with clear explanations of the significance of each object and its place in Egyptian culture and society. One of the highlights of the museum is the replica tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, which is incredibly well-done and gives visitors a unique insight into the burial practices and beliefs of ancient Egyptians. Additionally, the museum offers guided tours in multiple languages, which provide an even deeper understanding of the exhibits. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to answer any questions and share interesting facts about the artifacts. The museum is also conveniently located, making it easy to access via public transportation. Overall, I really liked it. This is a must-see attraction for anyone interested in ancient history or Egyptian culture. It is definitely worth a visit.

It has two types of exposition, one fixed, which explains life in ancient Egypt, and another variable, which can be from an exhibition on the young Tutankhamun or on the myths of Osiris. Super interesting museum with aegyptian archeological artifacts spanning the most representative eras. The guided tour is recommended. It's easy to miss from the street as it's not in the way of most touristic spots but it's right within easy walking distance of other hotspots. Worth a trip.

The audioguide is included in the ticket price (there's students discount as well) and delivers a lot of useful and interesting information. (Translated by Google) Small and exquisite Egyptian museum! Admission is free with the Barcelona card. If you are staying in Barcelona for several days, I highly recommend buying Barcelona Card. Different from the Egyptian exhibition area of the major museums such as the Louvre Museum, here is more inclined to include some small Egyptian objects, or some more folk, simple and so on handicrafts, although it is a small museum, the collection is still very rich and interesting! At the back there is a glass room with the collection under restoration (or other activities?). The lighting of the museum building is very good. Visiting the museum on a sunny day with natural lighting makes the exhibition experience even better. Photographs are welcome in the museum.
