👍👍 In 1982, Dr. Colet donated the property where he had his medical office to the Generalitat of Catalonia so that it could operate a museum and a study center dedicated to the world of sports. In 1982, Dr. Colet donated the property where he had his medical office to the Generalitat of Catalonia so that it could operate a museum and a study center dedicated to the world of sports. It is located in the Eixample district. It occupies an isolated modernist-style house designed in 1911 by Puig i Cadafalch. Currently the museum's collection has various pieces and photographs with sports themes, especially objects related to Catalan sports such as: Ricardo Zamora trophies, soccer medals from the Catalan championships, the soccer ball signed by the players from the 1942 final and regulations and paintings of the Spanish Gymnasium from 1862. It also has exhibits that refer to the Olympians (torches and medals), as well as mascots and pieces of different Catalan Olympic athletes.

Casa Pere Company, currently houses the Sports Museum. It is a modernist villa built in 1910 by Puig i Cadafalch. Inside, practically nothing of the original work is preserved, as it was converted into a gynecological clinic by its later owner. On the outside you can see typical modernist details such as sgraffito and wrought iron work on windows and balconies.

A jewel of Catalan architecture. It will be under renovation until the end of 2021. We hope to see it as original as possible.
