My girlfriend absolutely hated it and thought it was the worst museum she's ever been to. I, however, had a fantastic time! From start to finish I was intrigued and astounded by the fantastic sculptures and interesting historical facts provided by big fun. The giant paella was a personal favourite of mine. Highly recommend this to all who visit Barcelona.

About a month ago l visited the 1st museum and l was so impressed. I was left with the desire to visit the 2nd museum. Honestly speaking this 2nd one didn't reach my expectations. The 1st one was so funny and easy to understand. They were a lot of guides on the floor. This one was totally different the rooms were so small and difficult to understand what you have to do. I thought this one was going to be a bomb but not the 1st one was far way better. I don't know why it's more expensive than the 1st one. I was so disappointed.

The Big Fun museum is a very unassuming place for kids entertainment. You can easily spend 2 hours here and can be great fun for kids between 5 and 13 years old. Definitely recommend a visit.

We’ve visited with family "Sweet Museum" in Moscow. Remained in full delighted. When we arrived in Spain, Booking recommended us big FUN museums. The location is the main plus, right in the city center, near the market, a lot of cafes. Amazing exhibits in the"Giant house”. Even our grandmother said she was back in her childhood. The children were happy, we’ve made the most amazing photos for the whole trip in Big Fun museums.

While walking down La Rambla our 4 year old saw this giant Woody (Toy Story) and was really excited to go in and check what else was there to see. My humble opinion, tourist trap, specially for those traveling with kids. The idea is that you pay to go into different themed spaces. and it is kind of pricey. 20 for 5 experiences. They say 5 museums, but it is more like a themed space/experience. There is the mirror maze, horror maze, believe it something and four or five other options. This is certainly the place to go for selfie lovers since they have a million oversized/funny/weird things for you to pose with. But if you are not much into selfies, go somewhere else.

(Translated by Google) Today we have been with my family, the super super friendly staff, both children and adults have enjoyed the rooms very much, perhaps the one that has become shorter is the art with food but for everything else it is great. My teens enjoyed the Insta pleasing sweetie floor and the upside down rooms. For us grown ups it was pricey for what it contained. Plus simple things like incorrect translations and random exhibits with no explanation put us off bit. The hall of mirrors was very well done and the staff were pleasant. Loos clean but difficult to find!

Boring, hot, expensive. In general, neither BigFun nor the museum of illusions evoke any emotions. The exceptions are two locations in BigFun: 1) a maze through the looking glass, 2) a museum of fear, which demonstrates previously used creepy methods of treating mental illness. But that's all. The exhibits did not arouse interest even among 7-year-old children. And in the museum of illusions, many locations are worn out. Air conditioners do not work inside BigFun, stuffy. For 4 people paid 100 euros. But it doesn't cost more than 20-30

Me and some friends have been here today and would absolut NOT recommend it. First of all we were not allowed to use the bathroom even though we had been in the process of buying tickets. Only AFTER actually paying we have been allowed. It is not a museum, definitely more for children instead of grown ups. You are done after 30 minutes or even less, therefore definitely not worth the 25€.

The concept is cool, however overpriced for what the place offers. Quite poor experience. Also, some of the attractions were close (due to covid), which is only fair, however it was NOT advertised on the website ans you still pay the full price.

Bought tickets for myself and family on GetYourGuide for €20. Was worth the price. There's 6+ small museums inside including the scary museum, upside-down museum, house of illusion, sweet museum, a ball pit, guiness book of world record area and more. The staff are friendly, the toilets are clean and there's plenty to see. Only complaint was that some of the escalators weren't working? Definitely recommend a visit.

I had a roller coaster of thoughts and emotions during my time here. We started from the bottom floor and worked our way up. In the bottom floor I think there was a horror part, a guineas world record part and a Alice in the wonderland part which was a mirror maze with some references to the movie. In the second floor there was a Giants house section where everything was comically large. It was fun to pose, take photos and mess around with. Then on the 3rd floor there was a candy land and a upside down house. Candy land was just a walk through corridor that was filled with random candystuffs and others things made up of candy. It was OK but the upside down house was also very fun We forgot a item in the museum and the workers were very helpful and let us in immediately to find our item.

Very nice but very pricy museum. They say it has 7 small museums in one, but actually there are more like big thematic rooms. You have the cheaper option to visit 5 and the full option. One is located further away on the same street, the rest are in the same building. The mirror labyrinth was the best part. The topsy-turvy sounds good, but it's not that entertaining. It's not that interactive as expected. The good part is that kids can touch everything.

Different and fun to see and to take some photos. Translation to Spanish of the info labels grammatically wrong and some information missing or mismatched. They must pay more attention when translating.

Besides the fact that even the guys who are working there are less FUN but more moody and sassy, we had absolutely no fun at all at this so called museum. There’s a small section with oversize ice creams, bananas and cheese where all people older than 8 won’t be flashed, another “magic room” with some videos which aren’t that “magic” and a section with upside down rooms I bet you never seen before. The only cool room was an Alice in wonderland themed labyrinth out of glass and mirrors. Would have been worth it for 5 € but not more.

A heaven for Instagrammers, this place is truly a lot of big fun. Sure it may be corny, but it’s so fun to walk around and interact with the different exhibits. So many great opportunities for pictures. Plan in advanced, you’ll definitely want the multi-museum package, so worth your money and cheap compared to most instagram-museums. Prepare to spend at least 20-30 minutes at each exhibit.

We do not recommend this “museum” at all. It’s not even a museum. Very expensive and nothing to do inside. The explanations in most of the things exposed are all grammatically incorrect. One of the areas didn’t work. The place is very old and not up to date. We are a family of 5 with a 7 year old kid and it was a rip off.

Cool place for kids and instagram lovers. A lot of photo ops and fun taking the photos. The downstairs part is bit pointless, but the upside down house is fun.

Nice place to go with children. It's specially designed to be accessible to children. They can touch everything, jump everywhere. Nice place. You will have a lot of fun! There are different ambients called "museums" inside.... Sweet, giant, world Guinness, etc.... Recommended!

Alice in the Wonderland is the most beautiful area. If you like something scary, there is medness house area, there is also up side down house and candy area for kids. It's a museum on 3 level. Nice place to visit.

Best place in Barcelona to have fun with your kids! Three floors full of amazing and colorful statues great to take incredible photos! You can not loose the Museum of Madness, really terrifying!! I strongly recomended to visit this place for all ages!

I went with our 3 children (3,6,9) and all of them had a lot of fun as they could touch, climb and play with the things. Only room which was closed due to COVID-19 was the ball pit. We spent around 1.5 hours in the museum, taking about 100 pictures and laughed a lot. Only down point: no toilet paper in both toilets. And the price is a bit high. At least our youngest one didn't have to pay. But I would still recommend the place, especially with kids.

  • 4/5 Stacey E. 1 year ago on Google

A nice attraction for kids. Worthwhile if you are looking to kill an hour and a half, but nothing too special in my opinion. There are some cool exhibits, like the mirror maze and the upside down house, but most of the exhibits are medicore at best. Note that the illusions museum is located nearby, but not in the same facility.

  • 4/5 GABRIELLA O. 1 year ago on Google
I had a pretty good time at the museum. The "Alice through the looking glass" experience was super fun. The Museum of Madness was great too, my friend and I got scary enough to scream and run. We also loved the Topsy-Turvy House, we got to take pretty cool photos there. They have this deal of tickets for the Big Fun Museum and Museum of Illusions for 25 euro. In the museum of Illusions there is the first Guinnes book records and some of the biggest records broken by people, including the Brazilian guy who had the biggest eyes ever seen. We loved both museums. It is worthy

  • 4/5 Amanda P. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms were amazing and some very fun and creative things to interact with. Could have been a bit more to see for the money though in my opinion. This cost over 40 euros for 2 adults and 1 child. The painting and art is fun and colourful and my 6 year old loved every second. However major downside for me was the lift. We all got in the lift and it scared the life out of us when it went down and opened the doors to reveal a wall and then wouldn't seem to go up again! Maybe should get that fixed ASAP or maybe shut the lift.

My 7 year old twins really enjoyed this and luckily for them they didn't spot the slightly worn out or dated exhibits and missing signs. We had a good great time as a whole but I just feel for the price that they could have at least added something a bit "more" at least? Worth it to keep the children happy for a few hours at least and plenty of photo opportunities to keep as memories.

Indeed it is a BIG FUN place! I would not call it a "museum", since often "museum" has something "boring". It has several very different parts: mirror labyrinth, "believe it or not" with very interesting or even surprising facts, psychiatric clinic simulation (not for kids, like in horror movies), huge bath of balls (fun not only for kids, believe me), and a lot of scenes to make unreal, funny, surprising pictures (let your fantasy drive you). We definitely recommend this place to adults and kids!

I know it is not very cheap.. But it is totally worth it!!! We had tickets for both Big Fun and Illusions Museum and we enjoyed every minute - us and 2kids(6 year old and a almost 3 year old.) We spent there about 3 hours.. Lots of things to do, kids were running like crazy and everyone found something the liked. Big ball pool was great fun for all-big and small. Illusion part took us few min to figure out.. You need to take a pic and then rotate pic upside down to get the effect.. Once we realised what is what it was really cool fun! ?
