The
castle's
entry
costed
€5,
and
I
believe
that
it
was
money
worth
the
investment.
The
exhibition
halls
are
numerous,
and
loaded
with
information.
A
History
buff
can
spend
an
entire
day
here.
For
visitors
like
me
who
are
pressed
on
time,
the
exhibitions
provide
an
overview
of
the
historical
turbulence
associated
with
Catalonia,
and
the
sufferings
of
the
Catalans
during
various
conflicts.
The
views
are
appealing:
-
The
Barcelona
harbour
(?)
can
be
viewed
from
here
in
its
entirety.
-
If
you
take
the
gondola
up
to
the
castle,
you
get
a
panoramic
view
of
the
city.
They
have
a
cafe.
The
staff
was
efficient
and
polite.
Tips:
-
Note
that
there
is
no
public
toilet
here.
Only
if
you
pay,
and
enter
the
castle,
you
would
find
one.
-
Try
to
reach
early,
so
that
you
can
make
the
best
of
the
exhibitions.
-
You
can
take
the
kids
inside,
if
they
get
bored,
they
can
play
in
one
of
the
open
sections
where
there
are
several
bitter
orange
trees,
and
some
benches.
