This place is amazing. It was impressive to see and to learn about 19th century wealthy people and the architecture and the decoration in 18th. If you have interest in culture, antique, history and interior design, this place is worth visiting. You need to plan well and be on time.

Ein sehr schönes Museum für die, die ein Haus einer wohlhabenden katalanischen Familie der früheren Jahrhunderte sehen möchte. Die historischen Räume sind nur innerhalb einer Führung zu besichtigen, die Playmobil-Ausstellung zur Geschichte von Vilanova kann aber auch ohne Führung besichtigt werden. Und sie lohnt sich! Für unsere Jungs, 3 und 5 J.a., war es ein absolutes Highlight nach PM-Figuren für eine Museumsrallye zu suchen. Die ausgefüllten Zettel mit den Antworten werden wohl im September ausgewertet. Mal schauen, ob wir das historische PM-Set gewinnen:)

Guided tours starting on the hour. Guide spoke excellent English. A must to visit.

Incredible house, guided tour

We got very lucky! English-speaking tour is once a day at 13:00, but since we were the only group at 11:00 a very friendly guide was gracious l enough to give us a tour in English. The mansion itself is quite interesting! Highly recommended!

In the historic part of Villanova they do great tours including in English, it's fascinating to see how the other half lived a few centuries ago

We had a great your guide who kindly explained all the details about the objects and history of the house in English since we were the only ones at that tour time.

Very interesting late 19th century house museum. Had a free guided tour (1st Sunday of month) which detailed the interesting history of the place.

A fantastic experience. Visitors are given a tour of the house which is still furnished as it was in the 1800's, with a glimpse into the life of the man who owned it, including a look at his hair shirt and other penitential devices! The bathtub carved from a block of solid marble and private consecrated chapel with reliquaries were amazing too!
