We spent 5 nights in this great hotel. Nothing to complain and lot to commend. Cosy and clean room, great breakfast with wide range of fruits and tapas, helping staff. Very satisfied, and recommend..

Had a great 2 night stay in a double room for 1 during a business trip. The position is fantastic to visit the center and to move around the city. The reception staff was absolutely delightful and super helpful. I could work in the room using their wifi with no problems. Highly recommended!

We stayed five nights here recently. Overall very happy with the stay the staff was friendly the hotel was nice enough and then a good location. Only issue was there seem to be some maintenance issues with the hotel. A lot of loose tiles and the bathtub was cracked up and such. But overall still somewhere I would stay again. Hopefully they are in the process of doing some repair soon.

Our stay at the hotel was enjoyable, and we would certainly recommend it to others. The hotel itself was great, and we were especially pleased with its central location in Barcelona. The breakfast was also very good, offering a satisfying selection of options. In addition, the service we received from the staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and we would gladly consider staying here again in the future.

Great location and close to the metro. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn’t really like the bathrooms. Not much privacy. Other than that it was great!

Good location to several attractions and many restaurants while being away from all the noise and crowds. The staff were very efficient, helpful and courteous. Our room was pleasant and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, bread, cakes, cheese and some meats. A very enjoyable hotel.

Location was amazing, close to train station and a main area without being too loud. Hotel service was very friendly and they even let us check in when we got there a bit early and were only expecting to be able to leave our bags for a little- I suspect due to it being low season. The room size was good and ours had a nice little balcony. The only negative was that the bathroom cleanliness could have been a bit better. There some kind of jets in the bathtub that have a bit of mildew. The bed was comfortable.

Hello everyone Unfortunately, today my feedback will be négative. It all started well, because I received my room earlier than the check in time. When I entered the room, it a had a bad smell of an unclean room. The dust was everywhere, on the wardrobes, windows etc. The worst started when we came back later in the evening to the hotel room. We saw a big coacroah on the floor. When I called the reception, they said it was normal in Barcelona. Normal to have a coacroah in the room can you believe ? We had to sleep all night with lights on to make sure it would not come back. The bathroom was very old, with a smell of mould and the mould was everywhere as well. The water was leaking as well in the shower. We also booked a room for 3 people but we only had 2 cups for coffee. It might be a tiny thing but it is a waste of time to go down and ask for it. I would definitely not recommend this hotel even if it has a good placement. Rather find a small cute hotel but clean one !

Perfect location when visiting Barcelona. Walking distance to many places. Nice room, very friendly staff and good breakfast. We can only recommend this hotel.

I have written a pretty long review thy google will not allow me to post due to its character count. I felt the need to elaborate on my points so as to explain them fully. I will however send my full review to the hotel. In a nutshell there is much room for improvement. Essentially it could be a fantastic hotel. The idea is right however it lacks in execution and care. Certain elements look tired and in need of repair or replacement. It’s not old and worn by a long shot however better maintenance needs to be carried out and cleaners need to be more thorough. Breakfast could be much better although edible and acceptable to a degree, we didn’t bother going down for our third and final morning as it was lacking in many areas. The staff seem very helpful polite and friendly but the management need to get grips on the issues that I have shared with them. Petit place could be an exceptional hotel but there is a little work to do to get there. I cannot recommend to family or friends at this point but I would hope that improvements could be made, if they were I’d consider giving it another go. Be the hotel you deserve to be Petit Palace.

Didn’t feel like staying in a 4 star hotel. Windows didn’t close. AC was not working properly. Didn’t provide water in the room. Room interior not worth the price we paid.

Petit palace offered an amazing stay. I did have to buzz in since I was arriving late to check in, however the process was quick and easy. The lobby was very modern and clean. The staff at check in were extremely helpful. My room was clean, included 2 twin beds that were comfortable, and included a balcony with a nice view of the city. The hotel is located in the city only 2 blocks fron gran via and 4 blocks from the subway station. It is also within walking distance to the Gothic quarter. The breakfast was amazing. It consisted of a variety of breads, coffees, juices, meats, and eggs, among other things. Everything was delicious. Also if you ask the waitor, they provided custom order eggs and omlettes. I highly recommend staying for breakfast and you get a discount if you order breakfast when checking in. Check out was easy and the hotel even accommodated my request to print my boarding passes. If I return to Barcelona I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

This place suits us because of its price and location. All staff at the Petit Palace are very helpful and accommodating; nothing is too much trouble. They address issues without question in a respectful and professional manner. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. The room is clean and the bed feels quite comfortable. The breakfast is simply lovely and good value too. Recommended!

Great. Very nice hotel in Barcelona center. Beautiful staff, nice breakfast. Few steps from Rambla Catalunya. Great for exploring this beautiful town. High recomendations.

Like most reviews written before you cannot argue that the location is perfect. The staff are very courteous, polite and helpful but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. Our particular room for 2 of 3 nights did not have wifi, the first day of arrival had no hot water but complimented with bottles of still water, and our bath had blocked drainage and completely unusable. 2 TVs we rarely used due to being so old, no smart apps such as Netflix which is a standard you expect to have in any modern hotel/bnb. The breakfast buffet we cannot recommend, poor attention especially for hot food, people lining up knocking on the kitchen door waiting for service. It’s bacon, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, and if your lucky sausages on some days, major improvements required here. Apart from that there was a good selection of breads and pastries. Minor things like these can be easily remedied and add a better experience to your stay, hopefully things change sooner than later.

Update to my review (my initial review meant to be for a different place) Our stay was amazing we enjoyed the room, the view and the ambience. Staff were so friendly and helpful each time we interacted with them. The room was GREAT!

DON’T BOOK HERE IN THE SUMMER! This is generally a nice hotel with lovely staff and service. Our room came with a balcony that overlooked the street. You could walk into the balcony as well. However, the A/C in the room doesn’t get below 17 degrees Celsius and doesn’t cool the room down. Plus when you leave for the day the electricity turns off so you can’t come back to a semi cool room. We went in 14degree weather and it was roasting in our room. No exaggeration. And it didn’t help that the extraction fan in the bathroom didn’t work because the heat and moisture after a shower would only make things worse. The food selection is okay but could be better especially for those that are either pescatarian and vegetarian. The hygiene of the breakfast could be better as we found a long brown hair in our beans!!

Fantastic. ROBERTA at the front desk was amazing and provided a wonderful welcome! She explained everything pertaining to our stay very thoroughly. The room was plenty large and stylish with high ceilings. Although we didn't have a view the room was great and clean. The shower did leak water to the floor but it was a small inconvenience. When we asked for extra towels because of the leak they were quickly brought to our room. Will return to this hotel!

Well done to Isis the Manager from hotel! She did a great customer experience! we had an issue with our booking but because of he great skills and managing experience she knew how to solve the situation! The hotel amazing and I really recommend stay there. Well done Isis!!!!

Great service. I got cheap upgrades offered to me which was a bonus. The hotel has free bicycle hire which is nice. The complementary tea selection is pretty good, something that I thought I would never mention about a hotel.

I have reviewed this hotel couple of years ago after my first stay. I had a pleasure staying there again and they did it again. Complimentary to great location is the amazing staff that is eager to please and rooms which seem to be always kept up to date. Thank you Petit Palace. You are amazing and hopefully see you soon.

Great service. Great location -- close to metro and hop-on hop-off bus pick up and drop off. Included breakfast, which was good and convenient so that we could get on the road quickly. We were celebrating my sister's birthday. (The staff left something special in the room, which was very thoughtful.) Very impressed and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel and very well located, staff are friendly and were extremely helpful when ever we had a query. The hotel unfortunately had a issue with a water pipe whilst staying. This was in the museum next door but impacted the hotel and also our room. The manager was extremely personal and kept us updated on the progress which was quickly fixed. Would highly recommend this hotel, we're already looking forward to our next visit.

We had a really good stay at the hotel. The staff is nice and competent and they help where they can. Sadly the jacuzzi wasn't working on the last day because of some defect part which they couldn't get at weekend, but we got a discount instead. I highly recommend the breakfast!

Lovely and quiet hotel tucked away from the main streets of the city centre. If you’re looking to stay close to the main attractions but away from the noisy Rambla, I definitely recommend the Petit Palace Museum! My friend and I had an excellent time, the room was cleaned every day (instead of every two days, which is standard policy of most hotels). Also, the staff at the front desk is pleasant and helpful. (Shout out to Natalia!)

A great experience with a nice room, good service and an genious starting point for exploring the center of Barcelona. The price is not high (we choose not to eat breakfast as there are many places for half the price). what for me pulls the character down a bit is the very last finish (and then I'm picky). What draws up are the employees! I want to highlight the housekeeping and reception who with a smile solved every challenge we faced!
