The Gallerias are definitely a must see. Even if just for a quick window shopping session and a picture in the middle (literally everyone has their phone out). All the shops are high end but there are a couple of nice ice cream shops. It’s right next to the Duomo so head on over after and walk around. Highly recommend to visit

The architecture is simply stunning and so beautiful. There are restaurants, clothing stores and much more. The place is very nice to take a picturesque view. Fashion starts from here so it is a must to see when in Milan

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is an absolute gem in the heart of Milan. This iconic shopping gallery is a visual feast with its elegant architecture, high-end boutiques, and charming cafes. The vibrant atmosphere and impressive glass dome create a unique setting for a leisurely stroll or a delightful shopping experience. It's a must-visit destination that perfectly blends history, luxury, and Italian charm.

This is one of the two essential locations that you cannot miss on a visit to Milano. If you ever wondered why many of our modern shopping malls are called "gallerias", the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele may offer a logical explanation. It's a great place to visit, browse, eat, watch people, take photographs and, of course, shop. It's beautiful on a sunny day when natural light floods the central areas and convenient on a rainy day because it provides a public space that is sheltered from the elements.

Really nice for Christmas shopping (I visited in early December). I had very little time but made some purchases at both Gucci and Rizzoli. Both stores have very friendly and helpful staff. And of course I admired all the Christmas decorations.

This place screams of Luxury! Literally littered with the most expensive brands in the world. Crowded with locals and tourists alike, best visited early in the morning. Don't forget to step on the Bull's balls and spin 3 times for luck!

The Galleria is stunning & filled with high end, beautiful stores. The ceiling will take your breath away, but don't forget to look at the floor... it's equally lovely.

Our family recently explored the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the experience was nothing short of stunning. The architecture of the Galleria is awe-inspiring, with its elegant design and intricate detailing. Walking through the historic passageways, we felt transported to a bygone era of grandeur and sophistication. The kids were fascinated by the intricate mosaics, high glass ceilings, and the general sense of opulence that permeated the surroundings. However, for a family on a budget, the allure of the luxury shops and designer boutiques was bittersweet. While window shopping was enjoyable, the reality was that most of the items on display were way beyond our financial reach. It's essential for families to be aware that this is more of an experience destination than a budget-friendly shopping spot. On a positive note, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the Galleria is not just about shopping. We took a moment to enjoy a coffee in one of the historic cafes, soaking in the ambiance and people-watching, which added a pleasant touch to our visit. In summary, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a must-visit for its architectural marvel and historical significance. Families should approach it with the understanding that the shopping experience might be more aspirational than practical, but the overall ambiance and cultural richness make it a worthwhile stop, even if you're not planning to splurge on designer goods.

What a remarkably beautiful place – inside and out! Magnificent. An exquisite demonstration of unparalleled artistry and skill. The architecture, the murals and pretty much everything else. The attention to detail is simply wow-inspiring. Full of elegant shops and upscale dining establishments, the Galleria creates an ambiance of beauty while maintaining a luxurious price range. Standing in the middle and gazing up at the mesmerizing murals, each one depicting a different continent, is the pinnacle of this experience. Great vibes.

What a beautiful historic building which provided a great experience for both food and shopping. This location houses high end retailers and a number of restaurants. The builidng murals and intricate design work on the facade, floors and ceilings are a must see. This is definitely worth a trip if you visit Milan. Another fantastic bonus was the Duomo (Gothic Church) which was right outside the Galleria. It is a magnificent sight to behold.

Absolutely beautiful! Every store window makes you want to go in and shop! The architecture and overall beauty is breathtaking! We walked in and out of every section and were in awe with the magnificent structure. The amount of people was crazy! We happened to be there during fashion week and there were models dressed and taking photos everywhere! If you go to Milan you have to go to the Galleria!!!

The building itself is gorgeous and mesmerizing. We had a good time walking around. It’s also fun to look around the luxury stores but other than that there isn’t much to do or look at. It’s also extremely crowded to the point that it gets difficult to walk.

I visited a splendid place where the past and present, everyday life and luxury, beautifully intermingle among the places I've been to shop. The coexistence of Prada's past and present was particularly fascinating. Moreover, the sight of Gucci's extravagant Christmas tree in front of the Prada store felt like a challenge to competing brands, adding an intriguing touch. I look forward to enjoying this place more leisurely on my next visit.

One of the best luxury brand outlets are here. This mall is favourite shopping destination for many cine stars and rich people. This is located next to Milan Cathedral and build in 1877 with arcade shapes. This mall is housed within a four-story double arcade in the center of town, the Galleria is named after Victor Emmanuel II

It is obviously one of the undisputed symbols of Milan, which cannot be missed if you are in the city! Obviously there are people here at any time of day, even during the early hours of the morning! In fact, it's not exactly easy to take beautiful photos, especially when the influencers start parading as if they were the only ones there...Obviously, the prices of everything are high, but there is still a bookstore with prices accessible to anyone

Not sure how to describe this place correctly. Shopping center with the most famous brands. Most people visit it just to take a look and make a photo. It makes sense to visit just to close point "to see the most famous shopping gallery in Europe". In general, nothing special. Nice stationary shop with a some unique souvenirs.

Nothing special. The building is very beautiful but all the stores in it are super expensive. Also it’s very crowded so all the perfect photos you see on instagram are probably photoshopped. You can see in one of the photos below my attempt to take a photo and fail. I would say that it’s underestimated.

It is also a kind of upscale shopping center with most luxury brands having very fashionable stores there. Don’t forget to take a picture in the center of galleria but you have to keep in mind that so do everyone else. Fun fact: there is another Galleria, identical to this in Naples

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is Italy's oldest shopping mall and a major landmark next to the Duomo. The architecture of the building is fantastic to house some expensive shops and restaurants. Find if you want to see how the rich shop. Or maybe you just have money to burn and you feel like starting the bonfire of the vanities. Plus one for the architecture, but I wouldn’t shop here.

A must see when visiting Milan. It's definitely way more interesting when you read about it before going or take a tour with a guide, as the history behind it is quite interesting and worth knowing. It makes the visit much better.

(Translated by Google) Right next to the cathedral is the Mecca of all shopaholics - Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. It is one of the oldest and most famous shopping centers not only in Europe, but also in the world. The gallery was designed in 1861, took twelve years to build, and was supervised by the Italian architect Giuseppe Mengoni. Well, what can I do ... it's kind of luxurious here. Loius Vuitton, Prada and other well-known brands just sit here in elegant walls and lure them with tasty windows. Prices for the place and status befitting, so for me it's a bit like licking the ice cream through the glass. The way the glass. Fun fact: Even though you will surely be craning your head to admire the elaborate glass vault, it is worth paying attention to the beautiful mosaic floor. In the central part of the gallery there are mosaics showing the coats of arms of four Italian cities, i.e. Milan, Rome, Florence and Turin. The rumor spread among tourists that turning on the heel three times on the coat of arms of Turin, and specifically on the bull's testicles, brings good luck. The truth is quite different. Milanese, who sincerely hate the Turin, used to trample the bull's nature while walking on the coat of arms. Tourists watched, added an ideology and now the bull still needs to be supplemented by a precious part of the body that is strained. Galeria została zaprojektowana w 1861 roku, budowa trwała dwanaście lat, a nad jej przebiegiem czuwał włoski architekt Giuseppe Mengoni. No i cóż mogę rzecz… jest tutaj jakby luksusowo.

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is Italy's oldest active shopping gallery and a major landmark of Milan city. Housed within a four-story double arcade in the centre of town, the Galleria is named after Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of the Kingdom of Italy. It was designed in 1861 and built by architect Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865 and 1877. One of the most beautiful, architectural design malls to visit, while in Milan. It s just a beautiful shopping gallery with a lot of mind blowing historical details. The floor is amazing colorful marble with mosaics designs. On the ground there is a spot which is said that if you turn clockwise three times u will have very good luck though out the year. It contains all of the luxury brands stores, however I would actually shop at the shopping mall next door as they also got all the luxury store with global blue taxfree counter inside the mall that really facilitate the taxfree. It is right next door to Duomo, they are in the same piazza, and surrounded by lots of shops. Love it!

This is a beautifully decorated shopping mall. Admire its design, mosaics, and its architectural structure. It seems like you are inside a museum, and that is because this galleria is considered ro be the oldest in Italy. Here you will find the most expensive brands and best restaurants as well. Make sure you spin on the bull for good luck, that's a must for all tourists! If you are there for the summer time, get ready for the crowds.

It's a must see when in Milan- very beautiful place – inside and out!Luxurious brand shops like Chanel, Gucci, Dior etc and cafeterias/ restaurants inside, they are expensive, but for this place it's normal. The architecture, details are stunning. Great place for walk, but could be very crowded.

Beautiful historical place. Gorgeous view, amazing shopping. Weather was super hot. Make sure to have a hat, sunglasses, and patience. Everyone is standing around posing for pictures. Also, inside of the "food court" you need 1 euro to use the washroom. They accept credit cards to buy a washroom pass. It Takes a minute to process so if you gotta go , make sure you're prepared.

An exquisite different place where you can have a nice walk between cool brands and may grab a quick snack or ice cream or even sit for a meal down there. Loved the street, the ceiling and the vibe. A must visit if you are passing by Milano even for few hours or for a short quick visit.

Very interesting place. We've been many time and did some shopping. Very crowded and busy place. The only thing is the entrance from the Duomo side is full of pickpocket. So we used the other sides to enter the times we've been there. The cafés there are so busy and there is always line up. Even for Dior and other brand shops so the only place where I shopped was Chanel.
