Wow, amazing food. Vegan options available. I enjoyed a vegan deal, spinach dumpling dish and chilli tofu. Price was very reasonable. Service was amazing. I would highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience. Though service was bit slow due to rush, the food was absolutely lip smacking. We had taken their Thali for 2 worth 50 Euros. It can easily feed three people, it was too much for two of us! Must visit in Barcelona.

Tried to order with too good to go a ‘15 euros’ meal. Never again. Poor quantity and quality

The service was highly appreciable. We were a group of friends, and everyone had a positive feedback about this place. We were primarily there for the dosa options and they were very good. The starters were a hit too.

The place is so authentic, it makes you forget you’re in Gràcia. I’ve been here a few times now and the staff is always super kind, thoughtful and very professional. They welcome you warmly, know their menu by heart, can tell you exactly what contains each dish and give you advice if needed. The food is delicious and being vegan, I have so many options to choose from. I’ve read in a previous review that portions were poor, I could not disagree more with this. Every time I went, I’ve let with a belly more than full for a decent price. I believe the restaurant has been here for a long time and I’m not surprised as you can tell everything is made with love and passion for food, people and Indian culture.

Tasteful indian food. They might go easy on the spicy but not in the seasoning. We tried out the tandoori aloo, veg korma and the mushroom masala, everything was great. Good service, too. I do recommend it.

Veg World, without a doubt, a restaurant "par excellence", with high quality food and exceptional service. My partner and I are regular visitors for many years. The restaurant serves authentic flavors in a variety of dishes, mainly North Indian, but it offers some South Indian specialties as well. Samosas, Paneer Makhani, Daal, Garlic Naan, Masala Dosa and Mango Lassi are some of my favorite items from the menu. The Indian tea, "Chai" is always the best way to sign off after a sumptuous Veg World meal. Recently, we catered a lunch from Veg World for a group of colleagues, and everything was impeccable, professional and with extreme attention to detail. Beyond the food and service, I love the interior design of the place. I recommend the guests to take a few moments to appreciate the carefully selected art work, the photos, the murals, the ceiling decoration and the wood work. 5 stars all the way!

My comment is based on the daily menu they offer for lunch. To be honest for the price i was expecting something else. Some of the food didn't feel that fresh, and they ran out of the only desert that looked appealing. Probably i should go again and eat something from outside the menu. I'm sure the currys will be much better. But after my experience i might just pass on this one.

Many times I passed by the Veg World India, today I took the chance and went over there for a lunch. Although we entered near to the time the kitchen would close, we were very much welcomed by the friendly staff. The restaurant design is marvellous 🤩 and the food is a side show. Back to back every single meal was more than perfect. Loads of options for veggie and vegan. We tried the “menu degustación” for two people and it was just enough for us. We left the place willing to come back to try the second menu as well. Congratulations, the restaurant is simply amazing!

Preferred the food not included in the menu, as there was no soup served and the salad was ok. Naan bread tasted good

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! The best place in Europe for Indian vegetarian food. I went here with my friends and we all really enjoyed it. The hospitality was incomparable. They easily accommodated was all the food restrictions my friends had. They even gave us pani puri and tea for free just as a thank you gesture. 100% recommend this place. Delicious food, incredible people!

Good quality of food, we ordered the menu for 2 people that costs €48. Food was good but in my opinion very soft taste.

Went on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy, I can understand why. The service was attentive and friendly and the food phenomenal. Got the thali for 1 and a dosa between two of us, the portions were very generous. The korma was the best I've ever had. Really good value for amazing food. Can't wait to come again!

I love this restaurant! One of my favourite places to eat in Barcelona - excellent food, staff and atmosphere! If you like Indian food, you’ll love this place!

Amazing decoration, atmosphere and friendly staff. • Mega delicious food, I’m not vegetarian nor vegan, but it’s so good I’ll come back and bring my friends back. Especially the Naan, which is my favourite, they have it more thick and warm here, absolutely love. Don’t forget to order Mango Lassi 😉

Went because the restaurant was recommended by a vegetarian co-worker. I went with two friends who nearly made me go to another restaurant when they saw it was only vegetarian food but decided to stay and try it. We all left saying we’d have to repeat some time soon! Great service, ambiance and of course the food! We ate naan, rice, palak khofta (spinach balls in a sauce) and the dal makhani (lentils). Our regret was not getting the bhindi baji and more naan and rice :)

Best Indian cuisine experience in Barcelona. When you first walk into the place, you are greeted by its wonderful interior design that already sets a tone for the rest of the evening, the service is amazing, the waiters will give out recommendations, make adjustments and be super mindful about things and then the food is amazing. They have several tasting menus in case you are unsure of what to get, which are really good and meant for sharing making a first time experience easier. I recommend going with friends and just sharing food with each other, the variety of flavours and textures truly is one of the best things.

Every vegan living in bcn speaks about this place. We were here with friends and I really enjoyed it. It’s real Indian food. It tastes like the original one. They cook typical dishes. We had Thali, garlic naan and some samosas. Everything was tasty and the attention is really good. They are kind and super helpful. Tip for dessert: order the mango home made ice cream. The only thing that I could say as a drawback is that the price is quite high. Worst if you be been in India and know the real deal. This aside, I liked it and I would come back.

Extremely kind & accommodating staff, exceptional atmosphere, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed the dahl & masala dosa after a long walk through the city & it hit the spot, on par with the same dishes I had while in india years back. Thank you!

Food was fantastic! Great atmosphere and decor. The staff were friendly and made great food recommendations. I would recommend the cardamon ice cream to finish it was delicious.

Excellent food👍. I had all vegan dinner out of the menu (there are 3 with different prices). Nice atmosphere 😁 but the waiters could improve and be more friendly 😬

🙏My first time there was a nice experience. The food did not take long. I can definitely say the taste and the different amount of choices there are will lure in a lot of people. The Dosa for my body was the best for a positive pranic food experience. It may not be the best food I experienced but it is still one of the greatest food. The waiters were nice in their own way. One of the waiters genuinely appreciated me liking the food. I think me having a good time with the food the entire time made some kind of impression😊. The atmosphere was a different experience as it was my first time seeing such a detailed atmosphere. I would definitely come back once I am back in Barcelona.

Come here if you are missing home food. Had to wait to get the seat here, but you will feel home. But the menu is quite costly, what else do you expect when you are 6000 miles away from home. We tried the taali and it was decent. 22€ for a taali, and there is another one at 24€ with most of the items. Go ahead and visit.

It’s hard to find Indian restaurants that offer vegan meals that compared to non-vegan meals. We were so happy to find one that offers vegan cheese naan, vegan mango lassie and lots of delicious vegan curries. We‘ll be back ! 90% of the meals are vegan and the lunch menu was all vegan too.

Amazing place for desi food. Great Indian restaurant in Gracia! The food is at par and the service is excellent too! Definitely a paradise for Vegetarian food lovers! But the ambience is just incredible. The place is really decked up very well and just adds to the whole experience. Highly recommended to visit :)

We went back a few weeks ago and it was so tasty! I'm obsessed with the mixed pickles garnish and add it to everything I can. The spinach balls. In cashew sauce is amazing!

After arriving in Spain in 2014, and being a vegetarian, I was looking for an authentic Indian restaurant that would remind me of home. I found the ideal place at Veg World India. I have had the pleasure of visiting Veg World India on numerous occasions and the quality of the food is amazing every time I visit. By far the best Indian restaurant in Spain. And the friendliness and hospitality displayed by the manager, Jitender, and his entire team is incredible. I would strongly recommend a visit to Veg World India while in Barcelona to enjoy authentic Indian food.

10000% recommended. Being a punjabi who has gone to so many resturantes who claim to be Indian but arent and dont have the same taste, i can vouch that this place will not disappoint you. Lovely people, amazing food, great service and beautiful environment.

Let me start by saying, one of the best Indian Restaurant in the entire Barcelona, especially all Veg options (an extra star for that) Ambience - amazing Indian decor, lot of nice pictures. Seating arrangement is very well set up. The Ganesh idol in the centre is very nice touch. Service - Wonderful service, very nice staff and very quick service. Both the times I went there, restaurant was fairly packed but still good was served right on time. Food - Most important which is food, delicious word doesn't even justify the food. It's much more than that, such an authentic food throughout starting from pickle to main course and even the ice creams. Tip: Do try mango pickle, very authentic Punjabi flavour, rare one in restaurants.

This is a place to go if you want the best food in the whole world. No CAP, I love this food more than everything. The service is 10/10 and I could not be more happy than this, WELL DONE veg world - From a vegan guy for 5 years, I approve :D

Veg world in Barcelona !! They have the most authentic taste of everything they prepare. Good choice for vegetarians. It has good ambience . The Indian culture has been depicted in the ambience , and also in the dressings . Food : Pañi poori is the best here . I had ordered twice and it amazed with the taste both the times . Dosas are good , but not great - as there aalo Palya is not authentic . They added all veggies , like capsicum, carrots . They have great variety of curries , which has authentic flavour and taste . Naan were the best . Starters paapad and chutneys (sauces) were great . Please mention the spice level while ordering , it would be great. They also have great masala chai , don’t forget to enjoy that post food . They do have cakes in house , incase you are celebrating something , you can ask them over phone to keep it ready and they would play music too :) Overall great experience . Keep serving the best - team

After trying many Indian restaurants, this one remains my favourite. Amazing samosas, naan, fantastic South Indian dishes, vegan & vegetarian menu, including vegan wines - don’t miss this one

  • 5/5 Veronica A. 1 year ago on Google
INSANELY GOOD. WOW. The pani puri chaat was the BEST dish I have ever had. I could not believe how delicious it was. Please get it, you won’t regret it. The vegan mango lassi was also exceptional: my friend tried the non-vegan one as well and said they were identical, but that she even liked the vegan one a little more. If you’re there, try the vegan one to see how great food can taste without harming animals!! Amazing service, delicious food, and great vibe. Will be back!!

When Indians say authentic Indian food, trust me it's going to be authentic. This is one of the best restaurants, hands down. Usually when a place gets busy the quality of food goes down, but uhmmm.. I had the best paneer Tikka of my life here. Owner is so DTE and Dinesh was awesome, patient, and full of courtesy.
