Honestly the park itself is lacking in beauty and needs some urgent renovations, as the fountain and many areas of grass are now mud and not functional. However, you come for the main attraction, the view of the Eifel Tower. It's a massive park with benches, basketball courts and playgrounds.

Always in love walking around Eiffel or admiring her beauty from afar. No one can ever miss this beauty. The only downside is having people around the area forcing to shake your hand, selling some wrist band and other stuff when all you want to do is pose for pictures and admire the landmark. At the same time, beware of pickpockets when you visit because it's crowded at certain time of the day.

In the heart of Paris, the Champs de Mars unfolds beneath the watchful gaze of the Eiffel Tower. A serene canvas of green, it whispers tales of leisure and picnics. Couples stroll hand in hand, framed by the iconic silhouette. Children's laughter dances with the breeze, as locals and visitors alike find solace in this picturesque haven. The sprawling lawns invite contemplation, a tranquil escape from the bustling rhythm of the city, making the Champs de Mars a timeless sanctuary beneath Parisian skies.

Beautiful Park.. i would say . It is more attractive for me than the Eiffel Tower.. Beautifully maintained landscapes. An artificial lake and waterfall .. These things make it an awesome place to roam around.

I live walking around this park. I would definitely prefer spring and autumn. Because the colors of both seasons are so attractive.

Unique world wide experience to have such nice views of Paris from the second floor of Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately for us, fog covered the third floor and hid the views from there. Recommend to check the options for the online tickets, as in our case, we didn't pay enough attention and were surprised that tickets were valid from the second floor to the third floor, and so we used the stairs from the ground floor to the second floor. It was a kind of ❤️ test to climb around 700 steps. I'm not sure to be able to do it a second time.😅

Nice park just in front of the Eiffel tower so probably is best place to have a picnic with the view. However, the center part of the park located near the Eiffel tower is currently under renovation. Thus, there are fences surrounding so you need to walk around all the way up plus kinda restricted view with all the fences.

The Tower is a site to see however the armed military looking fellows along with the 2.5 inch thick glass wall around the base is off putting. The park has fencing and plastic tubing wrapped around the trees. Everything has become so guarded, you can't take a good picture without getting security fencing or some guy selling garbage trinkets every 50ft.

The park is near to the Eiffel Tower. It is very large and charming. Many people come here to sit down and take a rest and sometimes to have a picnic. The surroundings are so nice. Children can pass a good time here.

It's good to know that in winter the lawn is usually under maintenance, so it's not possible to lie on it. On the other hand the seats that are available are uncomfortable. In general it is a good place to go for a walk, but lately there are many street vendors who are usually very insistent.

Nice park offering close and unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower. There is plain lawn here, one can lay down a picnic sheet and sit down, and have a nice time. There are lot of street vendors selling beer, wine etc at the Champ De Mars. Though a bit expensive, you can buy and relish a drink while enjoying the Eiffel Tower and the park.

Champ De Mars is a huge park right in front of the Eiffel tower. We were dropped in front of this park to walk to the Eiffel tower. It is such a romantic park to go for a walk with love one. There were so many couples walking, laying on the grass, sitting on the grass and sipping wine while enjoying their romantic time. Lots of photo sessions were happening left, right and centre. It was a really romantic spot. It was a nice spot to take picture as it gives a whole coverage of the Eiffel tower in the picture. Must spend a quality time in this park with your love.

If you came to Paris without visiting this place, you just missed an awesome experience. It cost 26 Euro to visit the top by a lift and it really worth sending this. The view of Paris city from above is incredible.

Absolutely stunning! This was my first time in Paris so visiting Champ de Mars was a must. The area immediately surrounding the Eiffel Tower is full of amazing little kiosks serving the best hand made crepes and snacks. The park has plenty of room to sit and view the light show on the tower. Be careful with all of the peddlers trying to sell you wine and other gifts. They’re very persistent and annoying at times.

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous structures on this planet. Everyone, who come to Paris, wants to have the best view of it. Champ de Mars is that place. It is the garden of Eiffel Tower so to say. A huge lush green space to sit back and relax, have a picnic, have a photo shoot, have a party or a celebration or just spend the romantic evenings with the shimmering Eiffel Tower in the background. This place is just perfect for all of it. If you’re planning to visit it in July, mark the 14th July (Bastille Day or National Day of France). Be sure that it’ll be damn crowded. So reach here in the afternoon and grab your place. Don’t forget to carry the parasols, July is damn sunny. In addition, a lot of stuff to eat and drink to stay until midnight. The view and concert will be amazing.

The park where thousands of people gather to enjoy the day or night with amazing view to Eiffel Tower. Unbelievable experience here with spots for picnic or just to relax around. Some of the visitors says that is one of the most romantic places in Paris as even people propose marriage here as well - I was one that capture a lovely couple that got engaged front of the Eiffel Tower. Love is everywhere!!!

İt is a great park in the middle of Paris. You can spend very good and refreshing time in here. When we're there it was very cold but we still enjoyed it. It would be much better to visit this place during better weather such as spring or fall. You also get a great view of Eiffel tower from the park. It is a real unique view that one should experience. I would highly recommend you to walk around this park if you are visiting Paris and Eiffel tower.

In this place you can have a picnic during the summer, or just rest around. It's a big space with the Eiffel Tower on the back. A beautiful place to have a wedding photo session or just a nice photo session. You don't need to pay to enter, although if you want to enter inside the Eiffel Tower you might need to pay and have to be checked in security before accessing. Also be careful, around here some people are selling stuff or playing some money games, so be careful not to be scammed.

breath taking City view from top of the tower.the iconic steel structure is the first thing to come to your mind when you think of Paris. Built originally to last only 20 years, the tower has been a symbol of French technological prowess, engineering and architecture for over a century now. Inspiring millions of the city’s residents every night with its glimmering beacon, the Eiffel Tower is a majestic emblem of hope and wonder that one must visit in their lifetime.

Beautiful , neat and clean. Bit of walking from nearest metro station. Nearby bus stops are present though. Clear view of the Eiffel tower all the time.

Overall it is a great area to visit. The metro makes it easy to get around to different parts of the champ de mars or other parts of the city. The cafes in the area I tried were all pretty great. Also definitely a great area for a run if you are interested in doing that or even just walking along the river it is very refreshing.

The Eiffel Tower is impressive. I had lunch on the first floor. I was not able to go to the second floor using the stairs. My legs were not responding.

New year was a blast here. 🎉🗼 The trains were naturally too crowded. Only few trains available extra hours in the night. Fun fact : you can travel around Paris ticket- free on the new years eve. Better to check the availability of trains and metro before traveling in the night. M

One of the best places to go see the Eiffel Tower! It's pretty, I watched the sunset while sitting on a bench eating my huge Babybel and it was definitely an experience! Doesn't feel too safe to stay there at night. At night going close to Trocadero is definitely a better idea in my opinion!

Visited here 10 years ago and it was more well maintained than now. In 2022 it looks sort of scrapped. Poorly tended grass. Dozens of street vendors along the way. White fine grain sand in the floor that's crazy to turn you sneakers into a pair of dusty boots. The area has a big potential. Please don't let it be ruined.

Nice park in front of Eiffel tower to enjoy your day and evening and you can click your pictures of the Eiffel tower and with the Eiffel tower. People are enjoying their time with family friends and in groups. I saw a group of old persons playing and even they were engaging tourist kids as well to play.

Beautiful, just be prepared to find your way around in case the trains are being maintained. It took me about 10 hours from the time I left the airport until I was able to get back to the airport because of "train maintenance " after buying a round trip ticket, I had to pay bus fare as well since the trains were shut down.

Very nice walk. I always start with Trocadero, then Eiffel tower and ended with a walk in Champs de Mars. Also a very good idea to have a picnic in the gardens. Just make sure the grass is not wet before sitting.

Can get a very nice view of the Eiffel Tower here! Would recommend taking a stroll around it, especially if you don’t plan on going up the Eiffel Tower but want some nice pics. It wasn’t that crowded when I went Sunday morning (but it was also partially raining).

This is a park located right behind the Eiffel tower. It goes all the way to the military school. It is a place that people go to have picnics and gatherings in special celebration/days. Instagram Hot spot. Nearby metro: Ecole Militaire exit and walk to your right until you see the end of the park. Endroit merveilleux pour se détendre et prendre des photos, le soir est le meilleur.

Champ de Mars has exceptionally beautiful view of Eiffel Tower. It is large Greenfield public space 7th arrondissement between Eiffel and noethwest. It has the most pleasent atmosphere around the park. . It is created in true Parisian style. It was earlier used for drilling and marching by French military. There are no big sitting areas here, but you can find small benches to take stops and enjoy the surrounding. There are no food corners within this location but you can find few as you exit from the location at either ends. Be aware of thieves as you roam around the place.

Try to early to get the best view and selfie. Or buy ticket online. But at the ticket booth they will give you the option to go to summit or 1/2 way to the tower. Get your own bottle of wine or your favorite drink once to celebrate at the plaza. 😁

An extended lawn with clear view towards the Eiffel tower. People can spend hours together here. Cons: Drainage should be improved. Very muddy and watery surface even after a day of rain. In the morning, so many dogs will be there. Though the dog owners are there but the untied dogs will spoil your excitement and momentum. Some times the dogs used to chase the people around the garden. Except dog lovers, no body will like such a scenario.

at the outskirts of park you can smell a bit (ok - a LOT) of urine but in a central part of a park you can enjoy beautiful view onto Eiffel Tower (320m high!) Worth seeing anyway - but bear in mind massive crowds of tourists in bussiest months starting from middle of April until end of October

It’s nice to have some green space to view the tower but it was very busy and we kept being approached to buy beer/champagne etc. The grass in the middle was blocked off. There are much nicer green spaces around the city to relax. There is a small playground for young kids. We went back in the evening and it was quiet. This was a lovely experience to see the tower lighting up and lots of open space for the kids to run around safely.

Beautiful and extremely crowded with cars and people place Please be aware/alert of pick pocketing. Some might wanna remove the jacket/bag/load while taking pictures. But I don't really recommend it, as you are giving opportunity to others to take and get your item while you are busy posting.

This is a great spot to see thr Eiffel tower, both during the day and at night when it lights up. As mentioned by others, it is a great place to take a breath and enjoy the beautiful city. It is also a super romantic spot after the sun goes down! Must visit as a Parisienne picture spot.

City of love Paris ❤️. This time we visited the second level of Eiffel Tower. It was crowded due to summer holidays. But once you are on top you just feel the view and forget the crowd. Right now renovations going on all the sides of Eiffel tower that's why it is covered. Probably in coming months we are going to see the bright new version again 😍 Tip- you can easily buy ticket to reach the top from counter very easily. Few shops to eat something on the top. Be aware of your belongings.

Beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. BUT, the entire grassy area is being renovated, there are hundreds of street vendors (aggressively) trying to sell you things, it doesn’t feel safe at night, and it’s surprisingly hard to get an Uber pick-up from here. Other taxis came by the area.

Some of the best views and photos of Eiffel Tower, the garden it self is nice but not very well taken care of, but that is understandable since so many people are constantly walking and taking photos. Nice seating on the sides of the garden with shading offered by the trees.

Beautiful park to enjoy viewing the Eiffel Tower. I recommend visiting during the daytime as well as during sunset and staying for the light show around 10:50. A lovely place to visit .

Really beautiful place, with the grass, the Eiffel tower, the atmosphere there is just stunning. I don't know why, I don't know what but it feels really good! Highly recommend to have a picnic there and to wait till the tower's lights turn on. It is so worth it!

A magnificent structure built on top of a hill that just looks right out of a fairytale. Has lots of eating and shopping options nearby. Must visit even if you are on a short trip to Paris.

Not my favorite place in Paris. The gardens looked pretty brown and muddy, which is understandable from the amount of people walking everywhere. There were also so many vendors selling the same trinkets and wine. We were approached at least 20 times in our short stay there. Still glad I got to see this iconic landmark up close

This is field just before the Eiffel Tower and it is great to get photos there. It was full of tourists but not so many they were banging into you. Lovely greenery and trees.

The place is beautiful but I would not buy tickets to the Eiffel tower again. It's definitely a tourist trap.

Beautiful for an evening picnic....watch the tower come alive with lights and twinkle in all her glory. The park fills up fast so show up early. Vendors wander the grounds selling wine, champagne and beer along with other tower knick knacks. Bistros, cafes and souvenir shops are close by as well. Not sure how close the metro station is for we took an Uber.

The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I walked up to the second floor, and I don’t recommend that! I hadn’t realized what I got myself into, but overall great time it’s so beautiful.

During my visit to Champ de Mars, I was captivated by its stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, adding an extra layer of charm to the experience. While it's undoubtedly a wonderful spot for a picnic, my visit coincided with the winter season, still offering a serene atmosphere despite the chill in the air.
