What a horrible experience! After reading the reviews I thought it would be good idea staying there with kids since they have a swimming pool, well.. By booking, nothing was mentioned about time slots and reservations for the pool and the fact that u have to pay to use the pool! I paid extra to have a room on the top floor for the amazing view and we got a room on the 1st floor looking at walls! Made a complaint and got transferred to the 18th floor to a too small room for 3. Don’t try to reach anybody by phone because nobody is answering, not reception, not room service, not house keeping.. nobody. Amazing! Breakfast is poor and not of good quality. I would never recommend this old and dirty hotel. Dirty yes, in and outside. Bathroom is a disgrace.. anyway.. I can continue but this hotel is not worth the price!

The rooms look nice (although there were a few ants), elevator was fairly fast considering so many tour groups check into the hotel. Don't think I'd stay here again though because the service was bad, especially for a Novotel. The reception was rude and made us feel like criminals when asking for basic things. The hair dryer didn't work in my mom's room so we requested another. They told us that's just how their system was and all the hair dryers were the same. This was a lie because the hair dryer in my room was different and worked much better. I had to a leave a deposit to get a new hair dryer, which I couldn't charge to my room. I was forced to go back down to reception to pay in person. I don't think this should have been charged because it's the hotels fault for having poor equipment in the room. The hotel is also very inconvenient when paying. When we went for breakfast, we also couldn't charge anything to our room. They had to confirm our room number and we had to pay before eating. For a 4 star hotel, the treatment was worse than a 2 star. This place isn't like other Novotels I've been to where the service was much better. I'd recommend going somewhere else for this price.

Overall the rate for this 4 star hotel is really low, everything provided by them is so bad, totally not meet the minimum expectations by a popular hotel. Things that have to highlight: 1. Inconsistent hot water supply - can you imagine that you bath in winter with 3 seconds hot water - 3 seconds cold water alternatively?? 2. No mineral water and shampoo! provided in hotel room, so called Novotel hotel 😂 3. Not logical design - toilet bowl and bathtub separated into 2 places, not side by side. Super inconvenient for me and my partner 4. Air con lost functionally, very hot inside the room 5. Water leakage problem for the tap in the bathroom, imagine your shoulder will get wet when you just want to clean your hand 6. The worst breakfast buffet I ever meet in Europe countries. Separate both foreigner and local into 2 regions, their standard is super low. Not many choices for the food, cold cook and not fresh Will not come back anymore

It's a nice hotel in a great location. It is optimal if you want to be near the city centre and Paris attractions. The room was of a medium-large size and with a nice view. Breakfast was good, with a lot of options. The staff were OK, though it felt they could have been a bit more welcoming. If you're just looking for a central place and you're OK with decent, "standard" experience, it's a good choice for your stay.

Stayed here for my birthday and it was really nice! Looking at the hotel from the outside it doesn’t look like much but when you walk in it’s absolutely beautiful. The rooms are just a standard size but comes with a safety deposit box which is really easy to use, the beds are really comfy and comes with a bath and a shower. The only downside of the room is that it’s really warm now it wasn’t warm outside but the rooms were really warm and the rooms do come with aircon but they are really loud, and even with air con on it doesn’t cool them down much. The breakfast is really good they have plenty of options available and start at 6am-10am through the week and 11am at the weekends so you’ve got enough time to get breakfast and the staff are very polite and friendly when seating you. The rooms are cleaned daily and the maids are very friendly. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy and the staff always look presentable and professional. The location is really good as well as it’s only a 10-15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and you can see it when you come out of the hotel and if you walk across the road to the bridge you can take really good pictures of it. There is a metro 10 minutes away to get to other places around Paris as well which is only 2 euro 15. If you get a room high up also you get a really good view of Paris. We didn’t realise that there was an extra charge to use the pool so we didn’t end up using the pool or the fitness suite, as we wasnt told that when we booked, we only found that out when we got here, but never mind. If you’re looking for somewhere nice to eat I’d recommend the restaurant next door to the hotel called Indiana cafe it’s an American restaurant, it’s really nice and they do a happy hour on cocktails from 5-8 too! I’d highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again, thank you!

Location good with easy bus and some metros. Couldn’t checkin early but used bag drop. Shower didn’t drain fast and shampoo/shower gel not refilled. Not a good view from our room. Extra bed was a decent sofa bed for 1 person. Toliet is in separate area on other side of sitting room without a sink to wash after. Very strange setup. Toilet also had a opening in wall with board that didn’t quite close, opened right to pipes and empty void space.

Solange at the breakfast restaurant was incredible. Her service was beyond my expectations, breakfast was almost over and she made sure to get us a seat and that we ate. She was an incredibly kind woman and made our trip to Paris even better!!!

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is close to the Eiffel, and you can go around the Eiffel with a ten-minute walk. The hotel breakfast was good, but it was the same on different days. On holidays, we had to stand in a long queue to enter the breakfast restaurant. The rooms were clean. There were no slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste and water in the room. The hotel staff were polite. Overall, the quality of the hotel was acceptable.

This was an excellent hotel for value. The location was great - 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, 15-20 to the Trocadero, 6 minute walk to the Metro, and 3 minute walk to a lovely grocery store where you can by excellent wine, bread and cheese! Our room easily accommodated 3 adults and was very comfortable and clean. It was also a very quiet hotel, we hardly heard any hallway noise or people in the adjacent rooms. The room had a little fridge which was great for buying breakfast items, chilling wine (if it has a cork, the bar tender will happily open if for you), etc. If you need ice for anything just ask at the bar. The only recommendation for the room would make is to have additional/better drying racks for the towels in the bathroom. This would allow to help with the "Go Green" program that the property has implemented, as it would have allowed the towels to dry properly for re-use. Staff were excellent - very friendly and courteous. This included everyone from guest check-in, serving staff in the bar and restaurant, baggage check, cleaning staff, etc. We're not very demanding travelers but it was nice to know that when we did have a question we didn't hesitate to ask and were met with a friendly answer and a smile. Overall a really great hotel that I recommend and would happily stay there again.

Great hotel in Paris near the Tour Eiffel. Only about 10 min walk, the hotel is near a shopping street with lots of shops and restaurants, also near the Charles Michels metro station. The rooms for 3 had a nice double bed and a sofa bed, and the bathroom was big enough, the bathtub and toilet divided in two different rooms. The front desk people very nice and helpful from start to finish. I would definitely come back to this hotel in future stays, as the price is not cheap nor expensive.

All in our party agreed that the beds were comfortable. The hotel and rooms were spotless, but one room needed maintenance. The shower door leaked, and a lamp had a short in the wiring. The room was hot. No way to open a window, and adjusting the thermostat did not help. The breakfast had a long queue and was not all that good. The stand out person was Victor, the concierge. He was outstanding and very knowledgeable. He booked tickets for us on the hop-on-hop-off bus and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The only cloud was a strike at the Eiffel Tour. That created a very unpleasant experience at the tower, and I doubt we will ever go back to the tower.

Rooms. The size was okay, but nothing special. Basically, what I expected at this price point. The bathroom has a nice tub, a separate shower that I can almost turn around in without touching all four walls. But the shower has poor water pressure, in addition to being tiny. Additionally, the toilet is in another room, not close to the bathroom door, where the only sink is. Bed. I have slept on worse... but not often. But in addition to that, these are the worst pillows (essentially rocks) that I've experienced on my month long European vacation. I had better beds and pillows from places costing 1/3rd as much. For what this place charges and what one expects from a 4 star hotel... this is bull. Breakfast. I made the mistake of adding on Breakfast to my bill. Normally, I don't, but I had friends staying here, so I decided to try it. Terrible experience. Ended up going with a glass of OJ and cold waffles. Will probably resort to cereal tomorrow. I'm so happy I only booked 2 nights here and then booked with a neighboring hotel for the rest of my stay in Paris... because this place isn't close to being worth even half of what they charge. The headaches I get from your pillows wouldn't make this place tolerable, even if it was free. The next place might be just as bad (unlikely but it happens). At least it will only cost me a fraction of the price. The one redeeming thing it has in its favor is the views. But I'd rather look at a brick wall and have a comfy bed and pillow than this view and this junk they provide.

was a short stay with family, Good staff, excellent location, near to Eiffel Tower, restaurants and shopping malls, good breakfast too. Child under 17 was free for breakfast, we got Disneyland tickets at the information desk with an acceptable price. The value was much better than other 4 star hotels in Paris. But the rooms were very small, and there was a bad odor in rooms and corridors.

The hotel is huge in scale, the rooms are correct, the best is its location next to the Seine and the Eiffel tower. It has a convenient shopping mall close, and very complete facilities, conference, pool, fitness, though a bit outdated and in need of renovation. Because it has hundreds of rooms, the experience is somewhat impersonal, but staff were very helpful and quick in providing an excellent service.

Contemporary hotel situated a brisk 20 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. Pros: The rooms were clean, moderately sized, with toilet separated from sink and bathtub. Hair and body wash are provided in a dispenser in the shower. Can accommodate larger groups and conferences. Views of the Seine from hotel, and Eiffel Tower (from outside the hotel) Has a pool (didn’t use it during our stay) Cons: The partial shower divider doesn’t adequately protect against water leaking onto the floor. Strong powdery perfume scent in the common areas may trigger some with environmental allergies

After staying in the executive suite for 2 nights, this hotel was very disappointing. The room itself had numerous issues starting from a bathroom ceiling that vibrated loudly with the continuous running fan, stains on the couches, & bedsheets, and a bunch of technical issues. (Radio didn't work, tv reception so bad you couldn't watch anything). We had 1/2 roll of toilet paper at our disposal, and the staff were some of the least helpful I've ever seen(and some were just rude). One kept calling me Howard everytime because he thought I looked like a big bang theory character. With every issue experienced, a 20-30 min wait for a receptionist to talk to was cutting into our time in Paris. I hope they make improvements but I won't be staying at another Novotel any time soon

If I could write 0 stars, I would. I am extremely furious and disappointed in Novotel. I stayed for 5 days starting on September 23rd with my family . I checked in and specified I did not want room service of any kind. A few days later hotel staff ignored my request and entered my room to clean. The day before checkout, I noticed money and my wife’s new Chanel perfume missing. I kindly asked the manager if whoever came to clean had placed it somewhere else. I was met with rude and abrasive behavior that I even asked. On checkout day I tried to speak with the manager Gina. An investigation would take place and I would be updated after housekeeping was spoken with. I thought I would hear back but was betrayed. I called multiple times, I was hung up on and no further direction came. I wrote a formal complaint and NO ONE GOT BACK to me. My Paris trip was ruined, I didn’t feel comfortable in my own room knowing someone had invaded my privacy. My belongings stolen made me angry but Novotels reaction to this was even more disappointing.

It was clean, comfortable, a bit small room, but great view. 10-minutes walk from Eiffel Tower and a short bus drive from the Louvre, the bus stop is a few steps away from the hotel. But what really impressed me was the staff. Everyone was amazing. The manager did her best to give us a room earlier that the check-in hour, because we had traveled very long. Actually they were so kind and helpful, that I kept repeating to everyone that they are great.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. Rooms were always cleaned daily. Hot water was always consistent along with the nice bathtub. Nice living sleep, room space. Small fridge. Conveniently located near public transportation and of course, the Eiffel Tower. The only concern was that there was an incident upon arrival where an older woman's purse was stolen in the lobby area, just as we were checking in. My son and wife witnessed this event. After that, we were vigilant to watch our personal belongings. If anything, at least one security personnel should have been posted there especially during common check-in hours (hence, 4 stars instead of 5 stars). Otherwise, an overall pleasant experience.

The view was very nice (shown in pictures). The rooms are clean and the staff speaks English. The breakfast tasted good and there was a lot of variety. There is a pool that you can reserve and then you have sole access to the pool for an hours (maximum of 10 people at a time).

Fully recommend this hotel. Perfect location, 10min walk to Eiffel Tower. Beautiful view of river Seine from my window. Good quality room and food. And top service. Best place to stay with family. Close to underground station. Has its own parking. Definitely coming back to this hotel when I am back to Paris with family.

Booked 3 rooms for 2 night stay. Travelled with 3 children and other extended family. After the recent bedbug situation you would've thought that the rooms would have been thoroughly checked beforehand, however 1 of the rooms had them and room was subsequently changed after showing the reception pictures. We were then discriminated against when using the pool facilities. My wife had full covering whilst in the pool and was told to get out as they don't accept that covering even though it wasn't stated anywhere? I have 2 autistic children who require 1 to 1 at all times so she had to leave the pool with 1 of my children having a complete meltdown. What's worse is after we returned we complained to the agent we booked this through who then contacted the hotel manager who flat out lied about both the bedbug and pool situation. The hotel manager said they were not informed of the bedbug situation at the time, which they obviously were otherwise the room wouldn't have been changed. Then apparently my wife was told to leave as she had not paid for the pool? At no point was payment discussed for the pool so again complete lie. Nothing was offered as way of compensation or even an apology. Shocking service for a well known hotel chain. Will get a response to this about how they will "train their staff". Clearly won't happen!

Great location within easy walking distance to shops, cafes, public transport and tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant food and service were impeccable. Special mention goes to our waiter Nicolas who looked after us superbly particularly taking extra time to help us with our wine selections. The only minor gripe we had was that the shower in our bathroom leaked water onto the floor. We reported it so I am sure it will be fixed.

    1) Reception staff were rude and unprofessional. 2) There was a power trip from the faulty iron by the hotel but staff was inattentive to resolve the issue. 3) Breakfast choices were limited but they have good croissant. 4) Shower head pressure is low, hair dryer is dusty and limited TV program. 5) Hotel was far from the metro about 10mins walk

The room was suitable for 2couples and 2 children(as we were). The service was not good, we had to call more than 2times to get the things we needed. With this amount of money we expect better service! The noise in our room late at night made us awake whole night! But the location is super!

I may have expected too much as a loyalty program member. Not much of greetings when I checked in. No hand soap, body wash or shampoo in the hotel room. Called before I left for sightseeings. When I returned, still no signs of them. I had to call again. The delivery time was acceptable. No stand for luggage, which could be handy. It’s a very busy hotel. A lot of bus tours checking in every night.

The location is topnotch. Anyone who wants to walk to the Eiffel tower should opt for this place. The place is very economical and the service is very good. Breakfast was very nice and the timings were very flexible. You step out of your hotel and you'll see the eiffel tower view. Prime location.

The best thing about this hotel is the amazing staff! From the moment we arrived (8 hours late and after 1am) we could not fault each interaction with a hotel staff member. The night desk manager was lovely and we wish we got her name!! The rooms are quite small but we were out a lot. VIP breakfast was great as was the bar at night. Would definitely visit again based on the staff alone.

Really nice hotel and friendly staff. We had a lovely room. A few things: It was very cold in our room. Couldn’t work the heating. The Decor could do with some love. You can’t use the pool if you are wearing a bikini or board shorts and you have to wear a swim hat. So we missed out on swimming!

Mika at the reception was amazing! Over the phone and also when we arrived to the hotel. He made us laugh a lot and was very lovely. Such a pleasure to have someone enjoying his job and taking care of the clients. Very nice room, good breakfast.

Excellent location near Eiffel tower and surrounded by a lots of shopping and restaurants that highly recommended in Paris ( like Laduree and Noura ), staff were friendly and welcoming. I didn’t like the shower as it made an annoying noise. Breakfast was good but at you might stay a bit long to enter.

The place was okay. Breakfast was pretty good but I would have not spent 19.00 euros per person if it was not included due to us being there for a conference. Line could get really long for breakfast. The rooms were okay but we had a sign on our door saying do not disturb and house keeping would always knock and once they opened the door up and kept asking you sure you are good, no towels, sheets etc. It was kind of annoying. Regarding cleanliness. Pillows under the case were kind of gross with stains on them.

Dirty towels. Napkin and hand soap finished first day because it was already half way when we arrived and they never refilled it despite the fact that we asked for it multiple times. Rude staff. Long queue for breakfast. Most of the electricity sockets was not working in the room. Telephone in the room wasn’t working. Way too expensive for the service they provide. They just advertise on their location. Worse experience. I should have look for a better hotel. Checkout time is 12pm. Staff kept walking in in the morning from 8 am to clean the room while we had “do not disturb sign”. She walked in 5 times. If checkout is 12 we are allowed to use the room till 12 not 8am. They are definitely not a 4 star hotel.

The view and lovely woman who checked me in are the only redeeming qualities of this hotel. My room was old, tired, incredibly dirty, hair everywhere, TV didn’t work, fridge didn’t work, it all felt so dingy. The pictures online and on their website are absolutely NOT what I stayed in. Will not be returning and debating on booking somewhere else as I don’t really fancy another night feeling this icky. Again, the woman who checked me in was very very kind and that is the only good thing you’ll find here.

Not bad. Rooms were not cleaned well, leaving dirty glasses in the room. The room next door had a water leak that crept into out room. I notified the front desk and asked about a room change since our carpet was soaked. No room change for us, so we kept shoes on to walk around room. Can't imagine the mold that may grow from them not cleaning it upmin our room. Anyhow, good food and drinks. Great location. Would not stay again.

Went to Paris for a work related trip last October 2023 and the hotel was conveniently situated near the city centre wherein access to public transport and general safety was not an issue. The hotel had almost all the basic amenities that a business traveller would need. What differentiates the hotel however from other hotels were the very accommodating staff. From booking to departure, you are well taken care of every step of the way. Special mention to the very warm hospitality and service orientation extended by Ms. Maria, a Filipino staff of the hotel, in the breakfast station . Merci!

It is a very decent hotel with a decent staff. Food was very good and variety of options to choose from. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel is a walkable distance from Eiffel tower & seine river, returning our room even at night was hassle free. Overall a very decent place to stay with family and staff are very friendly & helping. I will definitely consider this hotel for my next visit to Paris.

Place is nice, bit far from some landmarks but acceptable. Room is good, spacious enough for 3 people, beds were comfy, able to sleep with no problems. Service is great, people like Joseph were accommodating, happy to help and nice. Would recommend!
