If you have status with Hyatt, stay away, much better options in Paris. False advertising - suites aren't suites. Used to be our go-to hotel in Paris, but after Covid had gone downhill. It's the first time I booked a suite because we were traveling with a toddler and needed space for kids from other family traveling with us to play. The suites are not suites! They are 2 standard, tiny, adjoining rooms! I don't know how the French authorities who I'm sure are strict on false advertising let Hyatt get away with it. One of the rooms had a Murphy bed and upon check-in the staff said that they can raise it to turn it into a living room. When we requested this, took them over an hour to come to raise the bed. Another hour later, after kids were done playing and we're getting ready for bed, I asked to have the bed lowered again and front desk complained that I just asked to raise it. Horrible attitude. Housekeeping wasn't great - didn't clean up dirty wine glasses and didn't replenish toiletries (had to call front desk to get more). Only redeeming features were that my daughter got a free teddy bear and the breakfast in lounge was good.

The 3 stars are for the view. We paid for an Eiffel Tower view and it was a gorgeous view for sure. It was also conveniently attached to a mall that you can walk through to get to the train station right on the other side. The lack of stars are for the following… 1. The “King” bed is 2 twins pushed together. The price was higher for a king room so we expected and actual king bed. 2. No coffee pot. For the price we paid, we did not think instant coffee was appropriate. 3. The air conditioning is terrible. It was very warm and humid and impossible to get the room to cool off. We talked to the front staff and they just said it will cool off eventually. It never got below 72 degrees. 4. This is subjective. The bed is VERY firm. My husband likes a firm bed, I found it very uncomfortable. We would not stay here again.

I would give this hotel 5 stars but for the location. Ideally, I would like to stay closer in the city. The hotel was booked by our agent, and I wasn’t displeased at all. That is just one thing I would change if I could. From the moment we arrived on a Friday night much later than expected (due to train delays), we were treated with kindness. All amenities were great. The breakfast in the hotel was enormous and very crowded, but not to the point that you couldn’t be seated. It had any breakfast food you could want, including American favorites. (AND serve yourself Mimosas and Bloody Marys!)I would have opted for a small cafe and just a cappuccino and Pain du Chocolate, but my husband wanted a LOT of food. The buffet is a bit pricey at 25.00 per person. Again, I would have rather saved that money and had a truly Parisian breakfast, but we didn’t. The bathroom was wonderful. It had a nice, large walk in shower, ample counter space, and a bidet. (Come over to the wonders of bidets, people!! We have them in our home, even!) The front desk was extremely helpful, and the concierge handled our bags, and getting is a taxi for our departure to Gare Nord. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing place to come back to in the evening.

Nice hotel located in a very convenient location. The rooms are clean, neat and well maintained. Some of the rooms on the higher floor has the Eiffel tower view. Attached to a shopping mall which has a multihall cinema too. The lobby can be very busy when there is a convention going on at the convention center next to the hotel. Great place to stay.

Nice hotel. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We had room number 2110z the view the from the was great (as you see in picture). Other than the dirty window the room was perfect. Breakfast had lots of varieties of food. There is better view from the bar on 34th floor.

Paris is well known for tiny rooms and such that the occupancy limit doesn't allow for 4 for most hotels in the city. If you're trying to wow your family, get the Eiffel Tower Suite (which does accommodate 4). It's among the nicest rooms I have ever been in.

Overall we had a good experience at this Hyatt. We booked a club level Eiffel view King. Was not happy that the room only has an Eiffel view if you squeeze into the corner and crane your neck you look as far as you can to the side. Technically a view, that I would not have paid extra for. Rooms like this should be designated as "partial view" or something similar. We booked club level so we could manage our dining budget a bit (we eat smaller portions than many). Due to our booked tours, we couldn't arrive at the club until about 8:15-8:30pm. The evening food and cocktails are until 9pm. Except both nights, promptly at 8:45, the woman running the club whisked away the food. NOT acceptable. The second night someone arrived at about 8:50 and obviously chewed her out in French. Food was brought back out for him. No guest should have to do that. Also, at 9pm the lounge is locked. And doesn't open in the morning until the breakfast spread. So no popping in for a water, juice or coffee like we are used to later in the evening. On the other side, we found the staff to be very friendly, helpful, and with no trouble communicating in English. We were able to check in early, and had no issues in our room. The room is TINY but reasonably well designed. Seems more suited to a solo business traveler than a couple. It was a great hotel for our needs the days we were there (ie busy with plans out and about and just needing sleep/showers/club. Also, the food presentation in the Club lounge was excellent. Many choices and quite tasty. In the morning they open up the Windo bar separators so you can sit with a lovely view of the Eiffel

Decent hotel but rooms are too small. If you're a couple travelling with 2 suitcases, your room will be crammed with no space to move. It is modern and clean though, breakfast is decent and location allows you to quickly dive into the little streets around the Arc.

I would like start off by thanking Renata the VP Manager and also Miguel Angel for making my stay very comfortable and helping with my check in process. They made my stay one of the best experiences i have had with Hyatt and am truly grateful as this was my first time in Paris. As for my stay, i really enjoyed the club lounge and the offerings along with the spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower especially at night. Breakfast croissants were excellent. The rooms were a bit small but very clean and provided everything i needed. Location is not the closest to the attractions but if you don’t mind walking/exploring it feels safe even at night. Just an overall great hotel that you can get good value from. Merci

Very large, impersonal tourist hotel. Breakfast was good. Not too long of a wait at coffee machine or egg station consideringthe size of the hotel. When we checked in at 8pm, it took me 1 hour to go up the elevator to my room on 22nd floor. All 4 of the Viking buses arrived at the same time as several others on Christmas day. Must have been 250 people trying to get to the elevators at once. Their roof top bar had a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Well worth the $75 bill for 2 drinks at the bar. The hotel is located next to the Paris beltway and other major highways but the metro is several blocks away. Not walking distance to any tourist locations that I could find on Google Maps or view from window. The hotel is attached to a small 2 story mall that was mostly empty when we visited. It does have a pharmacy and some boutique clothes stores.

Clean spacious lobby. Food was good at the Mayo restaurant but service was slow. They were probably overwhelmed with our big tour group that just arrived. Lunch buffet was overpriced for the kind and variety of food offered. For that price, a free glass of wine should have been included! Took forever for our food to be delivered through room service. Had to call to follow up. Rooms were clean but on the smallish side. Beds firm but pillows are terrible(too soft and squishy). Overall, a good experience.

Not at all pleased with the stay overall. Complaint #1 was the noise from renovations. I was never notified there would be any type of renovations being done during my stay. The 3rd day was the worst when I was trying to rest it was constant banging and drilling. I called down to the from desk and they offered me ear plugs. Then offered to see about changing my room but didn’t feel like doing all that and packing up since it was my last day. They said it would go until 5pm so I said I would deal with it. No refund offered or anything else. I should definitely be comped the last day. #2 The view from the room was great. I booked a deluxe king Eiffel Tower view and the view didn’t disappoint but the room sure did. It was super tiny and very uncomfortable. It’s a room for a teenager but not adults. The shower was having issues if someone in a nearby room flushed the toilet or ran their water the shower pressure would drop and get cold for about 15 seconds, and then go back to normal. It was very annoying! The restaurant and room service was outrageously priced. Food was mediocre at best. The market was constantly out of various things they had displayed as being available. And they had an obnoxious business bunch of Delta personnel that had shameful behavior staying there. Overall I would never suggest this hotel to anyone I book as a travel agent. This hotel is only good for one right if that.

It was a very comfortable 5-night stay. We had a suite, so it had more space for three people. The room was relatively clean. Although having breakfast as part of the stay was nice, they could’ve varied the buffet items daily. Location-wise, it is not in the heart of the hustle bustle of the touristy areas. However, it was not far from the main points of interest using the metro, bolt and even walking…

I really like the decor of the rooms. The view from the windows of the upper floors is also beautiful. I also really appreciate the 24-hour gym. Breakfasts are very good and varied, but they should be served a little longer, or at least the staff should not hide everything so early. When the hotel is fully occupied, it is very inconvenient to wait for elevators and queues for breakfast

This is a well run facility with an extremely helpful staff that are eager to please. The location could be a bit better, the nearest metro spot is somewhat out of the way. Its a Hyatt and you know that you will get value for you dollar.

If you compare this to other Parisian hotels then you'd have to say it's good. However if you've been to a Hyatt in any other country then you better bring your hopes down. Rooms are ridiculously small, service and facilities are the bare minimum simply to say they're available.

Overpriced and kind of dirty for a place that runs you €300 a night for a standard room without breakfast. Its well located and has big meeting rooms, and I think corporate gigs are what they’re going for. But I don’t recommend it as a tourist stop at their going rates… look elsewhere for smaller, more service oriented places.

I stayed just 1 night for business trip. It started harsh - the booking arranged for me could not be found by a service desk person and serach through the reservation number was not easy to find for a person at the counter. But then all ok. The was small but had all what’s needed - big comfortable bed, nice bathroom, enough sockets to plug all necessary devices, blinder for window, discreet night lighting… would not suggest for longer stay, because would not be enough space for all stuff. Breakfast rather standard, No highlights, but also No queue in rush business time. Checkout very quick and with smiling face so with good start in a new business day.

This hotel was being remodeled while we stayed there but at the time our room was one of the already remodeled rooms. The hotel was in a bit of a disarray at the time with getting around not to difficult but confusing. There was plenty of construction activity going on and quite a bit of noise as a result during the day. The staff are very helpful, the lobby is designed to allow for easy navigation and prevents from people standing on top of each, unless that is your preference of course. I found the lobby itself to be very modern and metro in design. The rooms provided a great city view as well as exceptional comfort, they were spacious and quiet at night. The location of this hotel is ideal, there is a gym literally right outside the door, there is also an excellent pub across the street, the embassy pub. I would assume now that the construction is complete the hotel is much more impressive. Overall this hotel is a great choice for anybody! Cheers!

Just an average hotel. Room AC sucked, it was hot and we couldn't lower the thermostat beyond a certain temperature - it got locked. Below average breakfast buffet. Worst thing about this hotel is the location. It is far far away from all the major tourist spots and really is in the middle of nowhere. Takes about 20 minutes to get into the center of Paris (like Louvre) via taxi/uber. Probably would not stay here again.

Regular traveler, both for business and leisure I am used to stay at Hyatt hotels and for almost 320euros per night I would expect the corridors to be clean but a plate full of food was left near the elevators for 2 days. It started to smell... No room service and the breakfast didn’t open before 7:15 am.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency during a short stay in Paris! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Although I speak a bit of French, I felt the front desk team was fluent in English and didn’t mind that my French was imperfect. Also a great location…only a short walk to the Arc De Triomphe and really close to the Metro. Rooms are on the smaller side but normal by Paris standards. Did have a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Loved the rooftop bar in the 34th floor!

This Hyatt fully represents everything a Hyatt should be… a great experience. From the location to the reception to the rooms and in-house bars and restaurants… its superb. The rooms are normal size for Europe hotels and the bathroom is very modern and clean. Well equipped with mini fridge, ironing board/iron, safe & coffee/tea but no coffee machine. The gym is very big and has everything you need for a great workout but has no view or windows as it is located in the basement. The lounge /restaurant on the top floor is wonderful and has great views of Paris but especially the Eiffel Tower. At night is when it is the most spectacular. It’s better to have a reservation or you will wait a long long time to get in. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall which incorporates a movie theater, grocery store , subway stop and many many stores. Highly recommend this hotel.

Love the breakfast buffet. However, if there's a convention, the breakfast buffet can be a little chaotic. From my personal experiences, most of the staff I encounter, I had a pleasant experience. The room is a little small, in my opinion. The location is about 5 minutes away from the metro line, airport coach, and bus line. BTW, the room does have a fridge, so you can have a bottle of champagne chill from the lobby store or many convenient stores around the hotel. Enjoy your stay. Cheers!

Matchbox room. Bathroom feels like I’m in a 3rd world country. Couldn’t control the water in the shower. It goes hot and cold, hot and cold. Had to step back when it gets too hot or too cold. After maybe two minutes it goes back to normal temperature. Last about 2 minutes then it goes hot and cold. Shower curtain is too close to the tub. Shower curtains are hanging on my shoulder while showing.

All service staff are very friendly. I need a bottle of water. They kindly gave us 5 bottles of mineral water which is very expensive and can only be purchased at Chanel. I need body lotion. The service staff also gave 6 bottles at a time. Thank you for your 2 days of service. Finally, I was given an Eiffel Tower keychain. I am really happy. Thanks🫶🇫🇷

The Room was perfect with wonderful view. Meanwhile the service was catastrophic with plastic dishes and extra cost If they bring food to your room. I thing they should not use COVID as a pretext for a poor service. 10 days later I stayed at another hotel with a chez at Eiffel Tower and I had real dishes and perfect service. We expected more from this hotel...

Luxury, perfect service, great location and amazing breakfasts! The staff is very attentive and they care a lot about each and every client. Rooms are cleaned several times a day, everybody is smiling (sometimes maybe too much and it might eventually lose its desire effect) and the whole hotel is flawless. The restaurants are fantastic, pool is great. It would be only nicer to have more kinds of saunas. I especially loved the Japanese breakfast to the room!!! As a big fan of Japanese culture, well done!! Very satisfied!

A great hotel, in the heart of paris, you are near every thing, food is great, specially the croissant and dessert you can never find it any where else in the world, the staff is very helpful and there for you 24 hrs. It was my first visit to paris and I hope I can repeat this soon.

Pros All of the high standards of a Hyatt: clean, helpful and accommodating staff and comfortable amenities. More affordable than other Hyatt options and the same price as boutique hotels in Paris. Cons (1) The drain in the bathroom for the sink is either not working well or is clogged, which required me to remove the drain cover completely. (2) Free water bottle service is good but also creates a lot of PET waste. It would be excellent if they could invest resources into finding a solution around this. (3) The location of the hotel puts you at a distance from the city centre. Uber will cost about 25-30€ to get to central Paris. From what I know there is no shuttle service that takes people to the central area. There is not much to do in the vicinity. (4) Laundry service is outrageously expensive. It would be helpful for coin laundry in the building.

(Translated by Google) The family double room with a view of the Eiffel Tower is top notch. The rest catastrophic. Sustainable development was used as a false nose to save money for a long time (eg not to give your sponges to wash = gain for the hotel by lowering the ELIS bill), now it is the Covid which serves as a pretext for this hotel: No room service, or if with their trendy "restaurant" snak locavore in any sham, but be careful to bring ice cubes or a meal in the room will cost 10 euros !!! in a 4 star Parisian. The food is bad, no real cook a priori. But the best part is that there are only plastic glasses, bamboo cutlery and the plates are replaced by cardboard! officially covid protocol. In fact, personnel savings. And of course no table or tablecloth, you have to bring the dishes in boxes and picnic on the small desk board. And in the morning scrambled eggs in cardboard it has nothing to do with the same on a plate. Infected. 8 days later at the Pullman across the courtyard, we were treated to free room delivery, with tablecloth, glasses, cutlery and porcelain plates. Another world ! Detail obviously to have bathrobes it was necessary to claim them. The management of this hotel is a disaster.

Beautiful hotel property in the heart of Paris' most famous shopping 🛍 districts. It's also a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel staff sparkles with professionalism. In the spirit of traveling safe, the hotel provides a complimentary COVID safety kit consisting of 2 masks and hand sanitizers at check-in. They serve a robust gourmet breakfast buffet each morning. For an evening cocktail after a day in Paris, I would recommend their Bar Windo on the 34th floor. While dining on their small plates of cuisine you can enjoy a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. The rooms are tastefully decorated with many amenities. I would definitely return to this property for my next stay in Paris..Night picture of the Eiffel Tower was from my room. Merci!

Very nice hotel with good air conditioning, which sometimes it's a struggle in Paris in the spring and fall when outside temperatures very drastically day to day. They hotel is on top of a mall and grocery store which is very convenient. The hotel is located on the outer perimeter of the city which makes it easier to get to by road from the airport. Convenient metro service takes you anywhere you want or need to be in Paris. This is a higher end, very clean, very nice hotel.

Great Hyatt service! I spacious rooms. Very good restaurant for dinner. Lovely rooftop bar with sweeping views of the city. And a very nice little neighborhood, with good food throw away

Great service. Lobby is large with lots of seating. Connected to Palais Congress, so can get to restaurants and grocery store without leaving hotel. Really convenient. Rooms are small, normal for Paris but small for Hyatt Regency in Europe. Rooms are up to date, but they shove a lot of furniture in for a small room - bed, desk, chair, couch, table, etc. Nice it have, but since you only really use one at a time, constantly moving things around. Hotel staff is very friendly and the housekeeping staff are great and friendly.

price quality wise not to recommend. windows are not close enough and room is too noisy. can hear all traffic and each small wind. furthermore, you can feel the wind inside the room. the wind is so noisy that it is almost impossible to sleep - not kidding! On top of that when asking for wine glasses, the room guest service said they can bring it for 10!!!! Euros to the room or we can pick it up in the lobby! what a lousy service it is for Hyatt standards. This the the worst Hyatt i’ve been. Another thing is that security wise this Hyatt is not the safest place. it is possible to access the rooms from the connected mall without a person would recognize it - no room key is needed to reach designated floor. One positive remark at the end: check and front desk were really polite during check in. Thanks to the front desk team, especially to Theo from Hyatt Team

Great rooms! Pretty decent gym if you use machines. Limited dumbbells. Cable machine. Haven't tried the restaurant as there are too many good restaurants nearby. Attached /indoor access to a shopping mall and grocery store. Metro is really close.

It's a nice hotel with a fantastic view if you go above 14-15 floors. The service/hospitality/friendliness is not at par compared to even a 3 star hotel anywhere in India. I had the city view on 18th floor and it compensated for the small size and not-so-friendly behaviour. Also, it's a bit tough for pure vegetarians as staff do not easily understand about eggs as ingredients.

Hands down a beautiful hotel. This was my family's first trip to Paris, and the Hyatt Regency Etoile provided phenomenal service from beginning to end. We had the Eiffel Tower Suite, which was well worth the money. I’ll never forget the moment when we walked through our room door. I was in shock because the view was spectacular! The room we booked came with access to the Regency Club, which was terrific (the breakfast and snacks were tasty!). I can go on and on, but overall this hotel was worth it, and I highly recommend it! We will be back and can’t wait to return.

One of the worst hotels in Paris. No coffee glasses in the room, no toiletries. Room is the size of a match box and charges are like a 7 star hotel. Anything you ask for, the only answer is you come down and pay and take. The worst part is that they don't even give water in your room. Pathetic service. I recommend not to stay here at all. Seems like they have an automated reply in their system. Send an automatic reply to dissatisfied guests and then forget it. Most unruly housekeeping staff and no manners to speak. Just now I asked for a body lotion cream and the lady denied it. I showed it to her that it's available with her and that's when she gave it to me with utmost disappointment. I fail to understand this kind of pathetic service. Seriously pathetic. Wish the top management looks into this very seriously and not just send a mere automated regret reply.

Very comfortable Hotel. Location is very convenient on top of the yellow metro line which will take you to most of main areas of Paris. The hotel is connected to a small shopping mall that has a supermarket, pharmacy, cinema and cafes. Staff are very professional, helpful and courteous. Special thank you to Ms. Renata as she made our stay more comfortable as well as Mr. Hicham.

GET THE BREAKFAST BUFFET!!! And get the waffles and pudding! One of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had!!!!! Very polite staff. A bit pricey, but that’s all of Paris. Rooms are small too but it’s enough. The gym has three rooms, so fairly spacious as well. The view at the bar at the top floor is great but it opens after 5pm. Ran into an issue with paying for my hotel with Hyatt points, so be sure you get everything right at the time of booking. But good experience overall.

Phenomenal service experienced as a Hyatt globalist. From prior to arrival email to welcome gift, the staff at Hyatt Regency Paris really tries to make our stay extra special. We stayed at a few different places in Paris (including some 5 stars) but I would have to give it to Hyatt Regency Paris for offering the best service all around. The view of Eiffel tower from the room is breathtaking as well. Loved it!!

This hotel has potential to be good, but unfortunately is an absolute let down. No better than a Premier Inn. The rooms smell like toilet, the breakfast was so disappointing which is an understatement, as there wasn’t really a breakfast. I asked about 5 items that I could see on other people plates and got told they had all gone. This is simply not good enough, no apologies, nothing. The rooms are very small and shower fills up and over the ledge making water go everywhere. This is probably down to the continuous smell in the room. The hotel is full otherwise I would have requested another room. So disappointed as I stayed at Hyatt Germany and had nothing but great experience. I would avoid this hotel in the future at all costs. Hopefully senior management come down and sort this out.

The Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile is a large modern American hotel. Many US travelers want exactly that and it fits the bill. It’s much like a stay in New York or Chicago. If you come to Paris to experience European culture and flair this may not be be the place for you. The view is very good though I find it a bit far from my preferred sights.

I really like the location of the hotel, the staff always courteous, however cleaning of the rooms (daily maintenance) leaves a lot to be desired, it appears that rooms are only cleaned in the afternoon which seems very strange as most hotels do this in the mornings and as such I planned my mornings out to allow for room cleaning, sadly I eventually had to make my own bed and clean the room myself after my return from my morning activities, usually around 14:00 to 15:00, as mentioned seems a bit out of the ordinary for me. Perhaps my expectations were/ are unrealistic.

Good hotel for a city trip or business trip. Just a short walk from the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe. In the morning long waiting queues for breakfast but they have a little but well stocked shop in the hotel for a sandwich and coffee. The shop sells even bottles of champagne.. The views over Paris from the rooftop bar are phenomenal and absolutely worth a visit. Even if you’re not staying in the hotel. I enjoyed the place and will come back for my next trip.

Very average. Rooms are small and dated. Bathroom could be cleaner, toilet stained, towels were old and at times dirty. Overall layout of the room is typical early 2000s American design with lots of sharp furniture edges and glass bathroom doors that are too big for a small bathroom. Service is terrible. Guest service line is always busy and can’t get through to change for clean towels. Lobby restaurant has a bunch of untrained staff who are not very attentive. Sat down for 15min, asked for a menu 3 times to finally get my order taken. Breakfast buffet spread is large with lots of selection, but often times cold. Overall, it’s a typical large city American chain hotel. Service is terrible, location decent.

I stay at this hotel 10 to 20 times per year. The rooms are nice but a bit dated from a technology standpoint; the staff are great, and the location is awesome. The elevators, on the other hand, make this hotel almost completely unviable. It can take 30+ minutes in the morning to finally get an elevator that has room for you to squeeze in, and you’re bound to stop on every floor on the way down to the lobby, only to disappoint those who were hoping to get in while frustrating the currently cramped, time-crunched occupants. To add insult to injury, the hotel’s policy is for you not to use the stairs unless there is an emergency, like a fire. I have zero problem walking two flights of stairs. I DO take issue with waiting for 30 minutes for a poorly designed elevator system to take me down a few levels.

Modern decor new Hotel. Location is very good. Metro terminal nearby and public transport is easily available. Spacious lobby and spacious breakfast area. Very good breakfast, having various cold and hot dishes options. Spacious rooms with good view. Bathrooms very sparkling clean. Hotel is connected from within with a shopping mall having Cinema screens as well. Few small fast food and chinese restaurants are across the road in a street. Taxies are available in the hotel 24/7.
