La
Nouvelle
République
surpassed
our
expectations
in
every
way.
Hotels
that
we
had
stayed
at
before
were
already
booked,
so
we
chose
LNR
solely
based
on
the
positive
reviews.
Still,
I
was
a
little
apprehensive.
I
can't
express
enough
how
this
turned
out
to
be
the
right
decision!
Our
room
was
bigger
than
we
imagined
it
would
be
by
the
photos,
and
the
decor
was
even
nicer
in
person.
It
had
well
thought
out
storage
that
helped
us
stay
organized,
and
a
multiple
device
charging
set
up.
The
king
bed
had
the
perfect
level
of
firmness.
The
bathroom
seemed
brand
new,
full
of
natural
light
and
plenty
of
storage.
The
waterfall
shower
was
a
nice
surprise.
Spotless
on
the
daily.
We
also
appreciated
the
cool
photography
and
Art
books
in
the
room
and
throughout
the
hotel.
Overall
their
décor
is
a
mix
of
vintage
and
modern,
that
made
for
a
pleasant
experience
while
having
breakfast,
or
when
lingering,
reading
emails
etc.They
have
a
vinyl
record
collection
that
you're
welcome
to
play
in
their
lounge.
The
fact
that
they're
environmentally
minded
also
stood
out:
they
don't
offer
travel
size
toiletries
or
single
use
plastic.
They
stock
refillable
liquid
soap
and
shampoo
in
the
bathroom.
I
forget
what
the
brand
is,
but
they
seemed
to
be
of
good
quality
savon
de
Marseille
type.
Plus,
the
neighborhood
is
really
convenient,
with
so
many
good
options
if
you
want
to
stay
close
to
the
hotel.
We
particularly
loved:
Bouche
(literally
half
a
block
away),
Servan,
Chanceux,
Café
Mericourt,
and
Le
Châteaubriand.
Most
of
all,
I
want
to
thank
their
staff
for
being
welcoming
and
kind.
Everyone
we
interacted
with
seemed
to
enjoy
working
at
the
hotel.
Suggestions
and
non
deal
breakers:
The
only
thing
missing
in
our
room
to
us
was
a
bluetooth
speaker,
we'd
have
much
preferred
that
instead
of
a
TV.
And
the
window
glass
panels
have
a
red
or
blue
tint
to
them,
that
made
me
crave
some
natural
light,
so
they
were
always
open.
This
probably
wouldn't
have
worked
as
well
in
the
Winter.
Not
a
big
deal
though.
