This hotel is amazing. The rooms are very cozy and bathrooms are clean and neat. They also provide services like coming and making your bed every morning and slightly cleaning up your room for you (picking up garbage, emptying the trash, etc) but they don't move any of your stuff which really stands out to me and I appreciate it. They provide a nice breakfast that is very nice and simple yet gives a nice start to your day. There are other simple things that I was very happy about such as always having a nice refreshing drink in the lobby and providing any simple services you need. They did my laundry for me when I asked them where I could do it. Overall the experience was very pleasing and I would be happy to visit this hotel again.

My family and I spent three nights here and we loved it. The hotel is a lovely little oasis in a vibrant and interesting part of the city. Super easy to travel anywhere by metro. I particularly loved the decor, and appreciated the environmental efforts made by the hotel. It also smelled really good!! I’ll definitely be recommending this hotel and will stay here next Paris trip!

Very nice hotel/restaurant located in hip neighborhood. Manager is welcoming & kind. Rooms are more interesting than usual hotel, feels more personal. Design is not cheesy or serial. Tiniest elevator I've been in though brand new. Breakfast is fine. Bathroom are clean and beds are confortable. Will return when in Paris

The staff was very welcoming and provided and excellent service. Ryan was amazing and very helpful and Taisha (i believe thats her name) was great went above and beyond to make us breakfast even though we were almost late. The only comment would be its the wifi which was very slow and non existent for the most part. Everything else was great. Rooms very clean and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had a lovely terrace (perfect for sipping bubbles if the weather is right) The location is rather far from the touristy areas which on one hand, we love. You get to experience more of thr laid back area with local. On the other hand, Paris is just so big, as we already knew, but we spent a lot of time getting back and forth on the PACKED trains. I would 100% recommend this hotel if that sounds like your kind of visit.

This is a real nice hotel in the middle of the lively Oberkampf neighbourhood. The rooms all have a very cool interior and everything you need from charger to hair dryer. A fridge and water heater would be nice though. Beds are comfy, good shower and enough space for everything. The towels were a bit thin though. The windows are really good and you can sleep until noon without any problems. This would also bring a solution for the only really negative thing: It is the mandatory breakfast. The service personnel is incompetent, slow and not motivated. It seems like they did never receive proper training. I don‘t see any reason not to have a buffet for breakfast. Products are okay, but if you want a quick start into your day, choose another hotel! Or the management introduces a „no breakfast“ option. Another thing is Sokrates, the house cat. My wife and I loved her company, but others would sure appreciate to know ahead of the booking.

My boyfriend and I bravely decided to take two teens to Paris to absorb the sights, sounds and tastes of this enthralling city. The hotel was just brilliant - the girls had their room and we had ours. Both were king size rooms and plenty of room to relax after a busy day out and about. The hotel was very arty - quirky and way better then the boring standard hotel where everything is the same. Perfect environment for all ages and very clean. If we needed anything the staff were always willing to go the extra mile to help make our stay the best experience possible. The location is perfect if you want loads of trendy restaurants and bars on your doorstep. If you want to go to check out the sights on central Paris the metro is a short walk from the hotel or you can easily order a taxi. Would recommend to those who are looking for quirky, family friendly hotel for fun and culture filled adventures :)

Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Paris and have an authentic stay that’s comfortable and won’t break the bank! It was a cute boutique hotel with an incredible area of offerings. Within a 5 minute walk, you wouldn’t have to leave the area for a week! Many boulangeries, many brasseries, incredible food! We cannot express more about how happy we were with our stay

This lovely hotel is located in a oberkampf district very close too 2 different metro stations. This is a boutique hotel, the rooms were awesome, comfortable clean and cozy. The hotel has a nice restaurant with a 24 hour coffee bar. Also the breakfast is delicious you will enjoy the smell of fresh coffee, fresh french baguetts, croissants, cheeses and scramble eggs. The service of the hotel is very good the host will make you feel home! This was a very nice experience really !!!

This is a comfortable and aesthetically- pleasing hotel in an interesting neighborhood. I wanted to stay somewhere attractive; and the rooms certainly are! A lot of hotels and AirBnBs feel like they were designed and opened without a test drive first. This hotel was well considered and exceeded our expectations. Our King- sized (!) bed was very comfortable. Well placed hooks and shelves made storage easy. The water pressure and temperature were good. Rooms were warm through a January arctic blast. As stated on their website, the hotel is not accessible for those with mobility issues. The neighborhood has a lot of interesting restaurants.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely area of Paris. The manager of the hotel is excellent: professional, helpful, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The team are the same -all lovely, and everyone works very hard to maintain a superb standard in the hotel. The breakfast is wonderful - authentic and very satisfying. The hotel has a lovely ambience and this encourages the residents to be friendly. A great experience

The curb appeal for this hotel is not the greatest, but once inside I fell in love with it. It's a spotlessly clean boutique hotel. Mael and Sofia were superb and went out of their way to make our stay absolutely wonderful. They even sent a bottle of wine to our room to help us celebrate our 50th anniversary.

Very charming hotel with comfortable, very clean and spacious rooms/toilets (not so common in Paris). We loved also the smell of the hotel in the entrance! Staff also very friendly! Close to different metro stations, in a safe area with bars and restaurants. The own parking space for a fair price is really a plus for the ones who go to Paris by car. Delicious typical french breakfast. Summarizing, it was a very nice experience, we definitely recommend and would like to come back! 😉

We stayed here for two nights during our first time in Paris! Check in was seamless. Very welcoming. We had an issue with our room upon arrival. We notified the team and they immediately resolved our concern and upgraded us. Our room had a patio attached which was wonderful to relax after a long day. Ok beds. The location is prime. Outside of the major tourist hustle & bustle but seconds away from the metro which will get you to the major spots in no time, also very affordable. Great restaurants nearby also, it was nice to be around locals :) The breakfast was good, a small selection but you do not want a a big breakfast before a big day of action anyways. Overall, a really good find in Paris for a great price. Very great staff!

What a lovely hotel. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room was spotless and beautifully designed and a delicious breakfast. The area is really cool and vibrant - fab bars, restaurants and shopping all on the doorstep. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our four-night stay at La Nouvelle Republique and would happily recommend it to people who like staying in a vibrant neighborhood away from the most touristy parts of the city. Our room was very spacious (and dog-friendly!), all the employees were very nice, and the lobby area had lots of seating with a nice coffee machine and a cool vinyl room. We hope to come back again soon.

Super friendly place. Great breakfast. Free coffee, tea and water all day is a lovely and welcome touch! Lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. The only critique we’d have is that it was a little too cold in the room and communal area, but we would definitely come back nonetheless! :)

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, close to lots of restaurants, bakeries, wine bars, etc. Also close to two different metro lines. Super friendly welcome, very warm staff. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. I will definitely be returning to this gem of a hotel!!

The hotel was in a great location and really lovely inside - a true hidden gem! The room was comfortable and warm despite the freezing Parisian December weather, the amenities included were excellent and the amazing cleaning staff kept our room looking pristine! Couldn’t have asked for a better base for our break away in Paris - all staff were absolutely great!

We stayed here at the beginning of our trip to Europe and enjoyed it so much that we came back to finish our trip at the same place. For hotels of this price category in Paris, the rooms are largish, well-appointed, with big comfortable beds. The whole place has a very distinctive flair about it, with interesting artwork all over, the very opposite of your run-of-the-mill chain. The staff are friendly and really helpful. The hotel is located in a really lively area full of quirky bars, restaurants and shops, with crowds of people out enjoying the nightlife late into the night. Despite that, the hotel, on a small side street, is very quiet. Great place for a trip to Paris.

We loved it. Friendly team and manager. I felt relaxed here. Comfy bed. Great shower, gorgeous smelling toiletries. Breakfast was simple but very delicious with quality ingredients, eggs cooked to order, coffee also lovely! We booked direct on the website and got a better deal.

La Nouvelle République surpassed our expectations in every way. Hotels that we had stayed at before were already booked, so we chose LNR solely based on the positive reviews. Still, I was a little apprehensive. I can't express enough how this turned out to be the right decision! Our room was bigger than we imagined it would be by the photos, and the decor was even nicer in person. It had well thought out storage that helped us stay organized, and a multiple device charging set up. The king bed had the perfect level of firmness. The bathroom seemed brand new, full of natural light and plenty of storage. The waterfall shower was a nice surprise. Spotless on the daily. We also appreciated the cool photography and Art books in the room and throughout the hotel. Overall their décor is a mix of vintage and modern, that made for a pleasant experience while having breakfast, or when lingering, reading emails etc. They have a vinyl record collection that you're welcome to play in their lounge. The fact that they're environmentally minded also stood out: they don't offer travel size toiletries or single use plastic. They stock refillable liquid soap and shampoo in the bathroom. I forget what the brand is, but they seemed to be of good quality savon de Marseille type. Plus, the neighborhood is really convenient, with so many good options if you want to stay close to the hotel. We particularly loved: Bouche (literally half a block away), Servan, Chanceux, Café Mericourt, and Le Châteaubriand. Most of all, I want to thank their staff for being welcoming and kind. Everyone we interacted with seemed to enjoy working at the hotel. Suggestions and non deal breakers: The only thing missing in our room to us was a bluetooth speaker, we'd have much preferred that instead of a TV. And the window glass panels have a red or blue tint to them, that made me crave some natural light, so they were always open. This probably wouldn't have worked as well in the Winter. Not a big deal though.

Nice quirky place in walking distance to multiple metro stations - great for transport, but also located in my favourite area of Paris with loads of great restaurants and bars at your doorstep. Unfortunately not everything was working - my Chromecast didn't work and apparently all of the tablets that were provided in the rooms were off for repair... but I don't care, these thing are secondary and it still deserves top marks. I appreciated the little touches like a charcoal-filtered water jug in the room, so you don't have to go and buy plastic bottles. WiFi was fast, bed was comfy, air conditioning worked well... what more can I say. I'll be back!

An excellent boutique hotel, with a professional staff. The hotel manager is just amazing. The hotel is located in the 11th district near some of the best bars and restaurants in Paris. Everything you need at your fingertips. The breakfast was great and just what you need to start the day. It is highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this marvelous hotel. Upon our arrival we were received warmly by the very helpful manager. All the staff were very friendly. The hotel is located in a very nice part of Paris with a lot of nice restaurants and bars. Everything was easily accessible by public transport. The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was very extensive and located in a very cozy room. If you have the chance, I definitely recommend using the hammam.

We've recently returned from a 3 night stay here staying in 2 rooms and for the most part were very happy with our stay. Paris hotels are generally quite expensive so we were drawn to this place as it was reasonably priced and had largely positive reviews. It is a little out of the central tourist area but is within walking distance of several metro stations so getting around isn't a problem. I actually quite liked the area and found it had a lot of character and plenty of good dining options. The hotel has a very unique style which extends from reception to the rooms with many quirky little touches. The staff we spoke to during our stay were also all friendly and welcoming. The rooms were also clean and fairly spacious and we slept well hearing no noise from the street. The rainfall shower was also one of the best I've experienced in many years of hotel stays. The breakfast option whilst fairly simple was fresh and tasty and kept us going till lunch time. Our only couple of gripes were no kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. The concept of the hotel is a communal living room downstairs where people sit and drink tea and coffee , but I don't know about anyone else but my partner and I aren't ready to face the world and see other people till we've had a strong cup of coffee. I ended up having to come downstairs to make coffee in my pyjamas and carry 2 cups of coffee back up the stairs whilst trying to open several heavy doors. It was a bit annoying and wouldn't be an awful lot of expense for the hotel to put some basic facilities in the room. I also didn't really like the safe box in the room , it was very small and fiddly to use so I gave up and ended up locking my valuables in my suitcase. These were minor issues and overall we had a good experience here and found it good value for money. You could do much worse.

Really wonderful stay, excellent value for money, loved the location, lovely rooms. Staff were outstanding, and went out of their way to assist with an unfortunate situation of lost passport/wallet/phone. Can't recommend highly enough

The hotel was in a fun and cool area, with lots of restaurants and shops in close walking distance, and many easy public transit options to get around the city. The hotel also had plenty of character and charm. I was there with my 4-year-old, and while we were the only family there, we felt like it suited our needs perfectly and that my child was very welcome and treated respectfully and kindly by everyone he encountered. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were always around and friendly. The rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable. We'd happily stay here again.

Amazing stay at this hotel. My sister and I came to Paris to celebrate her 30th birthday. The hotel upgraded our room for free and decorated it with birthday balloons. All our requests were immediately taken care of. Very clean, stylish hotel and all the staff members were super friendly and helpful. Hotel was very affordable and in walking distance to metro and so many cute restaurants and bars.

The hotel was very beautifully designed, in a quiet spot close to lots of bars and restaurants and easy to catch the metro from. Our room suited us perfectly and it was easy to see the attention to detail and cosy, artistic approach used throughout the hotel! Staff were helpful and always went above and beyond to help us. I greatly appreciated the poster and can’t wait to hang it as a reminder of our time in Paris!

This is a charming hotel run by a team of enthusiastic and clever young people. It caters to people of all ages who value sustainability and minimal, yet clean and attractive spaces. The rooms are elegantly spare, but have everything you need including an extremely comfortable bed. There is a breakfast cafe downstairs that serves a very good breakfast and has hot drinks available at all hours. The cafe and other indoor and outdoor communal spaces are inviting and delightful to spend time in. The hotel, though a bit off the well worn tourist path, is in a lively neighborhood filled with young people, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a hipster vibe that would appeal to young people, but we oldsters just loved it.
