Great location on small side street. Wonderful staff, extremely friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean and good sized- the soundproofing on windows was very much appreciated. The A/C worked exceptionally well during unusually hot July weather. Will stay again

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The hotel itself was lovey and surrounded by activities, good food, and shops. You're within walking distance, and an even shorter subway ride, of many great attractions. The hotel staff was beyond accommodating for us as we did not speak French. Every attendant spoke fluent English and, as I understand, some speak several other languages as well. They helped us book tickets, call taxis, and find our way around. Cannot recommend enough. If we stayed in Paris again I'm sure we would stay here again. I read some complaints from other reviews about loud noise and trouble sleeping, but the only noises we heard at night were sirens which I assume you're just as likely to hear anywhere in the city.

Summary: a cozy room on a busy street, perfect for heavy sleepers or those who plan to stay out late and want to be central to everything. Pros: - Very comfortable bed - Friendly, helpful, dedicated staff/front desk - Water bottles every day - Good wifi - Safety box in room - Windows in bed and bath that open - Air conditioning - Good shower/ nice big size Cons: - VERY small room. This is fine for some but we were here for 5 nights with two large suitcases on a long euro trip so we were not always the most comfortable. - Very noisy at night. We had to use our speaker and play 3 hour long loops of white noise on Spotify to get through the night. I am a light sleeper and woke up most nights due to noise from the street. But if you’re not a light sleeper and instead prefer to go out at night, it’s perfect for you!

My wife and I booked this hotel based on reviews and the lively location near shops, restaurants, and sights. Mantra night club next door may have recently opened because none of the previous reviews mentioned clubbing music until past 3am from Thurs-Sat, plus noise from patrons on the street at closing time. If you are in any of the rooms on the side of the club and facing the street, beware that you are literally sharing a wall with a night club. We requested a room transfer after a sleepless night. We moved a floor up and to a room facing the “courtyard”, and still heard the music (not as loud but enough to interrupt sleep). The hotel reimbursed us for the price difference as the only room available was not a deluxe as originally booked. The hotel staff went out of their way to make us happy and were helpful, however that did not make up for the sleepless nights. We would have appreciated the warning about the nightclub, especially since we requested a quiet room upon check in.

First, I'll say that this is a true '3 star hotel', but is fabulous option for Paris' St Germain district as it is centrally located, convenient to public transport and is a short walk to almost anything. The staff were very accommodating, speak multiple languages and were very friendly. The breakfast is surcharge, but there are wonderful patisseries in short walking distance. Would stay here again!

The hotel is situated in the best location of Paris. It’s conveniently located to the best restaurants and cafes. Train is few blocks away and nearby attractions like the Louvre is a 15 min walk. Rooms bit small but the bathroom is nice size and modern. I’d definitely stay in this hotel again.

I’ve been visiting Paris for about 30 years, and this is my new favorite hotel. It’s localed just off the bustling Rue Buci, so there are many cafés and bistros nearby. The rooms are modern and spacious. There’s plenty of room for the desk, luggage and the luxurious comfortable king bed. I don’t think I’ve ever slept as good in Paris as I did at this hotel. It’s so quiet even though it’s central. The bathroom has a large shelf, so there’s plenty of space for toiletries. Big, hot, modern shower. They also have a water bottle refill station downstairs! There’s a fabulous wine bar across the street too. My only complaints: They need to stop using single-use plastic bath bottles though. They should not qualify for the Booking sustainable travel badge since they use single-use plastics in the rooms. The breakfast croissants are not that good. You can get a far better tasting croissant and coffee on the corner at Maison Sauvage for a fraction of the price. I cannot wait to return to this hotel and its charming neighborhood.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We cannot say enough good things about them. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy. The location is wonderful. There is great food less than a block away and everything is within walking distance. We loved this hotel!

Hôtel Victoire & Germain surpassed my expectations in every way. It effortlessly combines the allure of Parisian romance with the comforts of a world-class hotel. Whether you're a first-time visitor to Paris or a seasoned traveler, this boutique gem offers an enchanting retreat that captures the essence of the City of Light. Without a doubt, I look forward to returning to Hôtel Victoire & Germain for my future visits to Paris.

This hotel is really charming! It is situated in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel next time I visit Paris and would recommend to friends and family.

The hotel is situated in the heart of St. Germain and all the beautiful Places are at a walking distance. It is surrounded by shops, bistrots, restaurants. We had a double room on the 4th floor. A nice, clean, cozy room French Style with a wide shower and comfortable bathroom. Breakfast is nice, served with kindness (try the crepe). At the reception Jordie is kind, professional and welcoming: he speaks 4 languages. There’s also a living room where one can have water, coffee or tea and… books! We highly recommend it and we’ll be back soon.

We just spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel. The location was perfect. It was close to the Seine, so great for both left and right bank activities. We walked across the Seine to the Pompidou Center and it's a 5-minute walk to the Jardin de Luxembourg. There were great restaurants all around the hotel, including right on the same charming street. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was just right with a big bathroom, excellent shower and nice towels. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Super friendly, kind and helpful. We also had breakfast there, which was delicious. I would stay here again on my next visit. Really happy with our choice.

Great location, room too small. You couldn’t walk and have your suitcases on the floor. There was nowhere to unpack your clothes. Two small shelves and 3 hangars. Nice staff. Bathroom wasn’t that clean.

We stayed here for our last night in Paris. It was a delightful hotel. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The shower was amazing! The staff was some of the kindest people I have ever experienced staying at a hotel. They have liberal check in/out times and we were able to store our bags till we left for the airport. This was a 5/5 experience and +1 more for the wonderful front desk staff. Thank you!!

Beautiful small boutique hotel in great central St Germain location. Rooms stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal base for exploring Paris and lots of good restaurants and cafes right on the doorstep. I would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic room and service - loved my stay. Location is close to both metro stations and about an 8min walk from St Michel which is the airport line. The team have been very helpful. Plenty of local cafes and bars nearby. I did not get disrupted by the noise but my understanding is the nightclub on the street has been closed due to the noise.

Great location in the Latin Quarter. Staff were awesome and very helpful. Room was good, the only reason I did not give it a 5 star was because it had an odour in it that was fairly strong. It eased up as our stay continued, but still lingered by day 4 of our stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent hotel in heart of St Germain. From the breakfast to the whole service and direction were friendly and attentive. My room had a really nice bathroom, very comforty, as well as the room area with a nice table with a coffee machine, tea and waters. I really like my stay and I will for sure come back!

Beautiful, generous room, most comfortable bed ever, excellent location. But the staff was really what made it special. Thank you Alexandra and the others! Will definitely be back! One note - although the windows were mostly soundproof, if you are a light sleeper: it’s a lively street late into the night - which is part of its charm! However, we had earplugs and slept very soundly.

Stayed in Room 42 - was spacious and most importantly, the aircon worked perfectly as temps were in the 90's. Centrally located in Saint Germain and convenient to the metros and cab stand up a block away on Blvd Saint Germain. Wonderful staff, would definitely stay again and would most definitely recommend!

We had a great time in the hotel - the location was very good, right near a metro station. the staff was nice and helped a lot, especially Daniel which tried to book us a taxi to the airport during the tour de france, and helped us getting to the airport without missing our flight. We will return!
