UPDATE:
Over
the
past
month,
I've
been
contacted
several
times
by
the
manager.
He
has
repeatedly
apologized
for
the
incident
and
I
received
a
full
refund
for
this
stay.
He
has
also
offered
to
host
me
again
at
his
expense,
if
and
when
I
am
comfortable
doing
so.
12.11.2021
I
would
give
this
review
zero
stars
if
it
were
an
option.
Let
me
follow
this
by
saying,
up
until
the
incident
on
Saturday,
I
was
prepared
to
give
this
hotel
raving
reviews.
Check-in:
I
checked
in
on
Thursday,
December
9th.
My
temperature
was
checked
along
with
the
Green
Pass
as
soon
as
I
approached
the
front
desk.
The
attendant
was
very
polite
and
helpful.
He
checked
me
into
the
hotel
and
presented
me
with
one
card
key.
I
asked
him
for
a
second
key
as
my
sister
was
joining
me
the
next
day
and
the
room
was
reserved
for
two
adults.
He
took
a
copy
of
my
credit
card
and
passport
page.
I
was
not
too
happy
about
this,
given
the
worldwide
issues
with
identify
theft
and
attempts
to
use
my
credit
card.
The
rooms:
Though
small,
were
very
nicely
decorated
and
had
everything
you
need
for
a
quick/short
stay
in
the
city.
Everything
was
clean
and
there
were
ample
supplies
of
towels,
lotion,
soap,
and
toiletries.
There
were
even
complimentary
(large)
bottles
of
water
and
varied
tea.
I
slept
well
the
first
night.
No
issues
with
noise.
My
sister
joined
me
on
Friday
December
10th.
Coincidentally,
this
was
our
birthday.
We
had
a
great
day
and
opted
to
dine
at
the
restaurant
at
the
hotel.
The
food
was
great
and
the
waiter
was
very
patient,
attentive
and
professional.
We
retired
to
our
room
after
dinner
and
I
was
in
a
really
good
sleep
until
my
sister
shook
me
awake.
She
said
someone
was
at
the
door.
I
jolted
awake.
I
honestly
thought
the
knocking
I
heard
was
in
my
sleep/dream.
Sure
enough
someone
was
knocking
on
the
door.
It
was
4:15a.
Slightly
disoriented,
I
asked
who
it
was.
There
wasn't
a
peephole
so
I
could
not
look
out
and
I
was
not
about
to
open
the
door.
The
person
identified
himself
as
Alex.
I
told
him
he
had
the
wrong
room.
I
was
certain
he
had
the
wrong
room
as
neither
my
sister
nor
I
knew
anyone
in
Paris
and
we
did
not
order
anything
for
delivery.
We
were
not
expecting
anyone
and
certainly
not
at
that
hour
of
the
morning!
Alex
thought
I
was
playing
and
again
insisted
I
open
the
door.
I
again
told
him
he
had
the
wrong
room.
I
asked
him
who
he
was
looking
for
and
he
said
Mar.
I
told
him,
wrong
room,
and
if
he
did
not
leave,
I
would
alert
the
front
desk.
This
is
when
Alex
said
the
guy
at
the
front
desk
sent
him
to
the
room.
I
tried
calling
down
to
the
front
desk
using
the
phone
in
the
room
and
remember
the
phone
was
not
working.
No
dial
tone.
I
again
told
Alex
he
had
the
wrong
room
and
I
would
call
the
police
if
he
did
not
leave.
Using
my
cell
phone,
I
called
the
front
desk
to
let
the
attendant
know
we
had
someone
at
the
door
and
did
not
know
the
person.
The
attendant
said
he
sent
them
up
to
the
room
because
he
asked
for
me.
I
asked
him
what
name
he
(Alex)
gave,
and
he
said
"Mar".
I
told
the
attendant
that
was
not
my
name.
He
said
he
knew
but
because
my
first
name
starts
with
"Mar"
he
thought
it
okay
to
send
Alex
to
my
room.
I
was
furious!!!
The
front
desk
attendant,
who
I
later
found
out
was
Eudorick,
didn't
try
to
contact
me
on
my
cell
phone
(he
had
the
number)
before
sending
a
complete
stranger
up
to
the
room
where
it
was
just
me
and
my
sister.
I
am
grateful
he
did
not
give
him
a
room
key.
It
would
not
have
ended
well
for
Alex
or
Eudorick.
Not
only
did
Eudorick
violate
my
privacy,
but
he
also
put
my
life
and
that
of
my
sister's
at
jeopardy.
That
was
a
huge
safety
breach
and
neither
my
sister
nor
I
were
willing
to
overlook
it.
We
could
not
go
back
to
sleep
after
that
and
did
not
feel
safe
or
comfortable
staying
at
that
hotel.
I
should
note
at
this
point,
the
room
was
paid
in
full
(€436)
and
had
been
since
13
October
2021.
After
ending
the
call
with
Eudorick,
I
immediately
booked
a
room
with
Hilton
La
Defense.
Since
it
was
5:00a,
they
were
going
to
charge
for
two
nights.
Such
an
inconvenience!
