I am sorry if my review is incoherent, I have possibly suffered severe brain damage from sleeping in "Hotel" Azur. All trains were cancelled so we had to stay one extra night in Paris. Only choices were Hotel Azur and sleeping in the train station. Train station would have been a lot better. Price was 110€ for one night, which is ridiculously high. Our room was in the top floor and there was no elevator, the stairs and the railing were sticky and dirty. Our room smelled like cigarettes and mold. There were dirty stains on the yellow walls. The floor of the room was so disgusting we had to use shoes all the time. Bedsheets had holes in them and human hair. The shower was so disgusting we didn't want to use it. There was a cockroach when we turned on the lights. You cant sleep because the bed is so dirty. Breathing the air felt disgusting. There was a fight/robbery attempt outside the hotel. If we had known how disgusting this hotel was we wouldn't have come near it. I would rather sleep in a well with frogs than in hotel azur. Avoid this place at all costs. Never ever ever ever go to hotel azur NEVER!

Don't know where to start. This place is way too expensive for what it offers. Except for the location in Montmartre there's nothing good to be said for this hotel. The electricity points hang loosely from the walls which is dangerous and some don't work. The toilet doesn't flush well. The shower is terrible. The room wasn't too clean. The bed was mediocre. The sheets were a bit dubious. The staff wasn't very friendly but still okay. Over all, do not recommend.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Europe. I’ve lived and traveled around Europe for 2 years and this is by far the worst. The first room we were given had no shower curtain - there was a shower but no curtain, as in if we showered the water would be all over the floor. Again, I have traveled Europe and understand that often there is not a full but a half wall at the shower - here there is none. The second room we were given had wall paper peeling off the walls and we could not open the bathroom door completely because the toilet was in the way. The third room was halfway decent but still has a horrible bed and was not clean. We also were responsible for finding our own pillows in the wardrobe. Additionally, the front desk is advertised as being available 24/7. We arrived back at the hotel at 12:25am with a sign on the door that someone would be back in 5 minutes. We literally could not get to our hotel. We have friends staying at the same hotel (who paid the same amount per night that we did) and they were given a great room. What I am most upset about is that we were not given a refund or discount for the fact that we are staying in a room that is less than half as good. I was told at the front desk that if we come back in a month that the hotel would be in better shape (which obviously doesn’t help me for our current stay) There is no way I will ever stay in this hotel or anywhere associated with this chain ever again. If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This is definitely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. It was sweltering hot . Noisy. In the morning with the sun burning the room. There is no elevator and if you are on the sixth floor... It is a rough climb with bags... The bathroom door doesn't lock and leaked shower water. Only one of the lights worked and one the towels had blood in them and insects began flying around at night. They lock the whole hotel at 1am and we had to call to get someone to open it.... Who also didn't speak english. Though in retrospect it probably would only have been marginally worse to wander Paris at night since it's impossible to get any sleep here. Checked out early a day and just booked a different hotel nearby than suffer on vacation living in a insect and sweltering hot dump.

What a horrible hotel! We paid €75 for an awful room. The matras was incredibly bumpy, the pillows smelled and were dirty and old, the blanket had holes in it, the shower did not work, the remote control did not work, the lamp was broken, the heating could not be turned off and the window could not be opened, which made the room a sauna. Do not ever go here! Better to stay in a hostel for that price.

We have confirmed booking with booking. Com but Hotel says it was cancelled. Reception staff not having effective langaugr skill. do not know English. Rooms are also not in good conditions. This is not like hotel feeling. We have remember what we required, etc which Many Hotels are giving. My opinion this hotel is not good.

Quite unwelcoming, although once we got to know them (including sending in a French friend) they were nice. Basic, but cheap.

The worst hotel I have ever seen. As soon as we entered, we wanted to leave immediately. Dirty floor, smelly bedding, disgusting bathroom. No soap, towels and toilet paper. I do not recommend !
