Please
review
other
negative
reviews
before
booking
and
you
will
see
this
is
a
recurring
theme
with
this
barber
who
takes
no
professional
responsibility
to
right
a
situation
or
compromise.
I’m
not
the
only
one
who
has
experienced
this.
The
owner
has
lied
in
their
reply.
I
did
indeed
mention
7-10
minutes,
and
definitely
not
15.
I
even
have
the
time
of
call
to
prove
it
and
screenshotted.
In
that
call
I
stated
I
was
in
the
metro
and
arriving
shortly.
See
photo
attached,
calling
the
vendor
at
10:28,
5
minutes
away.
This
is
the
vendors
number
as
listed
on
google
and
to
which
he
answered.
There
are
100
possibilities
of
handling
that
situation
and
Ricardo
chose
1.
That
one
choice
reflects
you
as
a
business
and
the
way
you
choose
to
treat
customers.
Through
your
inability
to
accept
any
responsibility,
you
are
creating
your
own
problems.
Again,
the
issue
is
not
a
lack
of
understanding
of
your
policy,
it
is
the
inflexibility
that
you
have
for
clients
you
have
both
paid
and
make
a
concerted
attempt
to
arrive
on
time,
as
indicated
by
the
courtesy
call
I
made.
I
also
find
it
alarming
to
not
propose
any
additional
alternative
solutions
despite
having
paid
in
advance.
You
have
essentially
taken
money
from
a
customer.
There
is
no
clear
relationship
between
customer
satisfaction
and
paying
in
advance.
Paying
in
advance
is
advantageous
mostly
for
you,
and
there
are
plenty
of
other
barbers
who
offer
both
options.
Keep
the
40
EUR,
but
be
sure
this
review
stays.
Yes
I
am
upset:
I
paid
for
a
service
that
did
not
occur
and
where
no
courtesy
or
respectful
accommodation
could
be
made.
That
isn't
customer
service;
that
is
a
business
asking
customers
to
pay
in
advance
and
then
turn
around
and
use
policy
to
keep
that
money
without
service.
Your
practices,
in
my
humble
opinion,
are
self-serving,
customer
hurting,
inflexible
and
pretentious.

Welcome
to
Instant
Barber
where
you
can
pay
40
EUR
paid
without
getting
a
cut
you
scheduled
and
paid
for
days
in
advance.
I
would
give
this
review
0
stars
if
I
could,
but
the
appointment
didn't
even
happen!
My
regular
barber
was
unavailable,
so
I
relied
on
reviews
and
chose
Instant
Barber.
I
booked
an
appointment
with
Ricardo
for
10:30
AM
on
a
Sunday,
during
the
middle
of
French
vacations.
I
scheduled
a
few
days
in
advance,
and
all
the
slots
were
open.
I
was
forced
to
pay
upfront,
which
I
did,
knowing
barbers
appreciate
it.
Sunday
morning,
while
on
the
metro,
I
realized
I
would
be
7-10
minutes
late,
still
before
10:30.
I
called
the
salon
to
inform
them,
only
to
be
told
they
couldn't
take
me
because
of
a
five-minute
policy.
They
claimed
to
be
fully
booked
for
the
day,
which
was
odd
given
the
open
slots
just
days
earlier.
Despite
having
paid
in
advance,
I
tried
to
reach
a
compromise:
-
I
could
wait.
-
I
could
reschedule
for
later
that
day.
-
I
could
come
back
later.
Every
suggestion
was
shot
down.
I
felt
rejected,
swindled
and
the
man
on
the
phone
was
just
rude
and
did
not
let
me
speak
or
willing
to
compromise...it
was
still
before
10:30.
They
made
no
effort
to
accommodate
me—no
offer
to
pay
more,
wait
a
bit,
or
even
shorten
the
session.
Nothing.
Despite
paying
in
advance,
they
refused
to
make
any
concessions.
NO
HAIRCUT
WAS
PERFORMED
DESPITE
PAYING.
This
was
unprofessional
and
unacceptable,
and
I
hadn’t
even
shown
up
yet.
In
my
opinion,
I
will
never
pay
in
advance
for
a
barber
again,
especially
not
at
Instant
Barber,
who
force
you
into
this.
This
new
trend
of
paying
upfront
via
app
or
online
is
a
way
to
trap
customers
and
give
barbers
like
those
at
Instant
Barber
the
power
to
take
advantage
of
it.
I’m
convinced
if
I
had
been
there
in
person,
no
professional
barber
would
have
handled
it
this
way.
By
the
way,
as
I
write
this
review,
some
slots
were
open
for
tomorrow
and
nothing
booked
Tuesday.
could
they
not
have
taken
me
then?
