The area of the museum is very spacious, so there's room to maneuver. They do require that all backpacks are worn in the front to avoid them knocking over anything mistakenly. A few of the pieces have English translations, so I was able to understand what each of those pieces were about. Not very crowded, which made it easy to move about. Great experience overall. The Petit Palais is one of my favourite Museums in Paris. Admission is free and it is open everyday except Monday from 10am -6pm. The Petit Palais houses a small collection of sculptures, paintings and objects from the medieval ages to the late 1800s on 2 levels. The architecture is absolutely stunning and the centre courtyard is so elegant and quaint. I'd highly recommend having an afternoon coffee/tea with a dessert at the colonnade. Every corner is picture perfect at this Museum!

My boyfriend and I came here because we couldn’t get tickets to the Louvre. Loved this place because it was 1. Free, 2. Not crowded with tourists, 3. Had a great collection. The medieval objects and artwork collection was great. There is Monte and Rembrandt in the paining collection so you can see some very nice pieces. The cafe has a great interior courtyard which is quiet and protects from the noise of the city. Tip: go early, by the time we left around 11 there were a lot more groups arriving.

Several eras and techniques such as painting, sculpting, design, art décoratif etc. There are changing exhibitions with more modern art. (The current one by Othoniel was absolutely uninteresting.) There is a café, a gift shop and toilets. A note that filled me with joy, they seem to also hire disabled people for desk positions. It's a great museum for 2-3 hours, I highly recommend it.

Amazing museum and with free fee entry. A lot to see, also the cafeteria inside is amazing. Very clean, covid control, plenty to see, from new to old art. Nice personal. We just love this small palace in the heart of Paris. The caffe and the chestnut cream were great.

One of the best free museums in the world. You can find a lot of great pieces of art here and it will be interesting for those who know a lot about it and who think Monet and Manet is the same person. Gorgeous inner garden and you can drink pretty good coffee there. Highly recommended to visit.

Petit Palais is excellent !! A lot is free which is great and it is full of some fantastic art work .you can also do a drawing yourself so that was a laugh. Lovely building with pink trees and golden vines... tres bein xx

It says it’s petit Palais but it is indeed very big in the inside. I enjoyed every part of it and it was well explained in the description of every painting or sculpture .

This is one of the few "free" museums for everyone in Paris. The permanent collection is free to visit and the exhibitions have a fee, there is a full upstairs and downstairs to visit. There is also a beautiful garden/café on the ground floor to spend some time in. Located between the Seine and the Champs-Élysées, the Petit Palais is an architectural jewel built by Charles Girault for the 1900 Paris Exposition. With the Grand Palais and the Pont Alexandre III, the Petit Palais became in 1902 the museum of fine arts to house the rich collections of the City of Paris. The collections offer a wide artistic panorama, from Antiquity to the beginning of the 20th century. A true haven of peace, its interior garden welcomes visitors and allows them to take a pleasant break. I would highly recommend putting this on your list of things to do in Paris.

It's FREE! Definitely worth a visit! If you ever have down time, you should come and see the beautiful sculptures and art work here. No tickets needed.

Lovely place to walk around (free entry) and have coffee shop to sit down and take break. Food on very average but pricey side. Museum hides some wonderful statutes and large size paintings. Please, do look up! Be in awe!

Majestic museum in the heart of Paris that you can visit for free. Safety and comfort at the highest level. Incredible experience from amazing restaurant in the courtyard.

Free entrance, the building itself outside and inside is simply gorgeous. There are great paintings and sculptures, the museum isn't crazy big so you won't get very tired. The garden was under construction when we visited so that was a bit upsetting.

Sehr schöne Abwechslung zum Trubel der anderen überlaufenden Attraktionen. Liegt im Herzen Paris und bietet im oberen Geschoss eine gratis Ausstellung mit vielen schönen Exponaten. Der Garten ist süß angelegt und lässt einen kurz die Hektik Paris vergessen. Selbst in der Hauptsaison ist dieses kleine Kunstmuseum nicht überlaufen und kann Problemlos ohne Reservierung kostenlos besichtigt werden. Für eine ausgiebige Besichtigung würde ich ca 30-40 Minuten einplanen.
