You must book your tickets online! I arrived without a ticket and waited 40 mins to purchase one and enter the museum. Don’t make my mistake. Really charming museum, filled with art. They especially loved Italian art from the renaissance. I spent 2.5 hours here. There was a lovely Botticelli temp exhibition at the time too. It’s nice that they have plenty of benches for people to rest and admire the art in the rooms.

This museum is pretty wonderful, but you should absolutely buy tickets in advance and make sure you chose a time slot. There is a line for stand by that can take up to or over an hour, and the “ticket” line is for people with tickets AND a time slot, not just day tickets. The collection is lovely, and the house itself is magnificent. The interior stairs and the courtyard out front look like they are straight out of Bridgerton. It’s also pretty reasonably priced, and has nice traveling exhibits. The location is somewhat off the beaten path, but great for a somewhat different experience in Paris.

If you have a few hours to spare in Paris then Musée Jacquemart-André is an excellent choice whilst it could be a rainy day activity, there is also a nice inner garden where you can enjoy the sun and the tranquility of a century passed. It's a private museum with an excellent art collection which will take you through how they lived during 19th century and their collections. There is normally also an external exhibition included in the entry. There is also a nice café and restaurant.

Eines der weniger bekannten Pariser Museen . Es lohnt sich trotzdem insbesondere weil aktuell eine große Werkausstellung von Fussli dort stattfindet. Die Räume sind weitgehend im Stil des 19. Jahrhunderts erhalten geblieben.

I came here to see the Caravaggio exhibit, but was shocked to find such a stunning and well preserved mansion. The art is amazing to see, but for me the real gem was the architecture. And the perfectly preserved furniture. It was a glimpse into the life of the aristocratic life style. By tickets ahead of time though. I waited like 90 min in the cold to get in

Beautiful place and home to Jacquemart and exquisite collection across the globe on display. Lot of travel stories with the unique pieces.. A beautiful pastry cafe is inside and it’s interior is amazing. There was an excellent exhibit for Gallen Kallela too which ended on 25th July.

Very grand historic house with many richly decorated rooms and some very notable paintings - including a couple by Rembrandt and Van Dyck. Also a number of very impressive 18th c tapestries. Bellini exhibition was very good and I enjoyed the main house even more.

A nice human-sized museum. Appropriate things to see, You can tour the exhibition in about two hours, of course, if you want to get to know the works in more depth, you can spend the whole day here as well. There is a good restaurant in the museum, with reasonable prices at least at lunchtime.

Great place with elegant architecture with quite selection of pre-revolutionary arts of noble families. When I visited there was Giovani Bellini exhibition which was amazing. Highly recommended if you want to slightly get away from busiest tourist attractions.

Absolutely beautiful museum to visit. The house itself is grand and detailed. As well, the gallen kallela exhibit was one of the most beautiful that I have seen in the city. The artwork was lovely and there was an informative video as well that gave good context. When I went during the week it was not too busy so it was a nice, quiet visit.

(Translated by Google) I thought the rich people would contribute to the preservation of culture in this way. The building is wonderful and the statues are spectacular. I saw that there was a rude clerk in the word of mouth, but I was lucky to be free because there was no special exhibition. There was lemonade and another lemon water and the clerk explained hard. Incredibly beautiful - reminds me a bit of the Frick in NYC as it's also a former home and all the art was once part of a private collection (!!). Every room is just stunning, and it's small by museum standards so you can see everything in 90 minutes without rushing. It also has a very good cafe - randomly had one of my favorite meals there last visit.

(Translated by Google) Another large home of a couple of great art collectors (such as the Nissim de Camando Museum). In a mansion from the end of the 19th century, you will find in sumptuous settings, a rich collection of works of art (paintings, sculptures, furniture and works of art) ranging from the 14th century to the 19th century). This museum can be visited in parallel with the other museum founded by Nelly Jacquemart (her husband having died) in the former abbey of Chaalis (department of Oise) which also contains a fabulous collection of art.
