Inside the enginiering school you will find an amazing muzeum. One of the 3 muzeums, like Louvre that has some royal jewels.

The mineralogical collection of MINES ParisTech, preserved at the historic Vendôme Hotel for over two hundred years, is recognized as one of the most complete and spectacular mineralogical collections in the world. Today, it is comprised of around 100,000 samples, including 4,000 on exhibit, and over 2,900 species of minerals!

An extensive collection in several beautiful rooms. The aisles are a bit narrow, but still accessible. The pamphlets are well-made and informative. Recommended for people interested in minerals

This little museum was easy to find and get into - so although it's very specialized, it's quite accessible to normal tourists. I don't know much about rocks, but there was much to enjoy here, you can tell that the exhibits are world class.

A perfect place for precious stones lovers! There is a wide rage of collections in the world. The entry price is only 6 euro and it’s located juste next to the famous Luxembourg garden.

Truly an impressive mineral collection with beautiful specimens, divided into small room and each room has a few family of minerals. They don't have many rocks yet, a few metamorphic and basic magmatic rocks. They also have a nice range of meteor debris.

They don't take credit cards. Cash only. The year is 2023 in the world busiest tourist city. What? Couldn't even get in. Also the guy asking for the admission fee was just some random dude in plain clothes. Held his hand out and asked for 3 euros. I'm not sure if he was a bum or actually worked there.

Probably the best museum in Paris (yes, even better than the Louvre in many respects). I took over 200 photos.. so many that my phone became too hot to hold and my battery dropped precipitously. There are many many rooms and every room has incredible mineral samples - some huge, some colorful, in fantastic shapes.
