Beautiful museum with a lot collections. The queue can be long thus booking your ticket online is highly recommended (it saved us at least 15 mins in the cold).

In the center of the city a masterpiece of Artnouveau built in 1930 as a public swimming pool, converted in 2000 as museum. A perfect reconversion a must see!

Well worth a visit, especially for the beautiful building and how well it has been transformed into a new purpose, but keeping the old charm.

Unique museum that's housed inside a former swimming pool. It's art deco and it must have been really cool to go for a swim here in the pool's pomp. A couple of tips: arrive a little later - around midday - as the queues for security after opening can be very long. Don't bring a water bottle with you as apparently you're not allowed to (although I saw no signs or information advertising this). We found out the hard way when a member of staff took great delight in confiscating water from my - clearly pregnant - partner.

Beautiful result for an old public swimming pool transformed into a museum. Collection is mostly sculptures, ceramics, paintings, some master's work. 9€ ticket, nice hours roaming around, beautiful café inside, garden, shop... Worth it.

La Piscine is definitely one of the best museums I've ever been to in my life. It uses its space so efficiently and effectively, the entire collection is perfectly organised and it's so rich and diverse, ranging from paintings, sculptures, fashion pieces, and all in completely different styles and topics. Has one of the best souvenir shops, too. I am absolutely in awe and would definitely recommend it to anyone, whether you're a lone art enjoyer or a family with kids, I'm sure everyone will find something to love there.

Amazing art deco building imaginatively restored and enhanced as a fascinating museum and art gallery. We had a tour and our guide was incredible, very knowledgeable and really brought the story of the pool and it’s inhabitants to life.

Second time here. Great museum, nice concept. On the boundary of becoming overwhelming due to the ammount of works on display. Really worth the visit.

Exceptional museum, lots of different styles. Interesting place from an architectural point of view. Some paintings are hard to see because they are high on the wall, but one of the best museums of Lille.

Well curated art in a beautiful building. It’s about 20 minutes away from Lille if you take the metro and for us it was definitely worth it. They have all sorts of art and beautiful gardens too. Id definitely come here if you enjoy art in general and are looking for something to do around Lille.

Beautiful building, absolutely worthwhile to visit, but too many paintings and sculptures: too full and overwhelming.

This is a great Musee to visit. The building is a converted art deco municipal swimming pool, the former pool area forming a grand sculpture hall. Tucked in the changing booths are displays of exhibits. There is a good collection of paintings and a second set of halls of more sculpture. There are also, each time I've been, interesting contemporary art works on show.

Great place and free the first Sunday of the month. I would rather pay and have less people. Was impossible to admire the art with so many people.
