👍 Very nice museum. Free on the 1st Sunday of each month. Rather "nostalgia" for parents (and grandparents) who find the toys of their childhood; very young children are drawn to toys that closely or remotely resemble those of today (wooden toys and dolls). Very nice collection of games and toys thro...

(Translated by Google) Very nice museum. Free on the 1st Sunday of each month. Rather "nostalgia" for parents (and grandparents) who find the toys of their childhood; very young children are drawn to toys that closely or remotely resemble those of today (wooden toys and dolls). Very nice collection of games and toys through the ages, which shows that some games are timeless.

Museum of course dedicated to toys, the rooms are in chronological order with rooms mainly from the 19th and 20th centuries. On the 1st floor, you can see some magic lanterns. Don't miss the little train circuit on the 2nd floor which operates after pressing the button. The museum regularly offers temporary exhibitions. The museum is located approximately 500 meters from the station, near the collegiate church and the prison. Free the first Sunday of the month.

Surprisingly educational, even for adults! This museum takes us through the ages and traces the history of toys and their place in society. Many collector's items in good condition, we discover many games that we didn't know existed Only downside: I found that there was a bit of a lack of interaction, especially with the old toys. And a more detailed explanation of the rules and principles of certain games. But overall it is a museum to visit if you are passing through Poissy.

On reviendra à coup sûr.

Located in the heart of the gatehouse of the Royal Saint Louis Priory in Poissy (78), the museum is dedicated to children's toys and games. It is mainly a historical reminder of the toy around childhood. Beautiful collections that will bring back so many memories to different generations.

The whole history of the toy chronologically. Each toy has different materials used. A very beautiful exhibition which is as much for curious adults as for children. Well received by the boy at the entrance who gives basic information for the visit

Nice little museum. There is perhaps a bit of a lack of activities so that children can put themselves in the place of those of the time and try out little things (recreated of course). The little moving image notebooks are worn out and work less well, the trains no longer work at all. Perhaps make the museum a little more lively and fun for children.

It’s got ALF!!! It’s a small ish museum that was fun. You can easily spend an hour in there. We were rushing a little and did everything for 45 mins. There were some interactive toys that were fun to show to the kids on how daddy used to play games. 😂 Wish it was a little bigger, but everything was well presented and the place was clean. If you have an hour to kill with kids, highly recommend.

A little disappointing with 4 year olds. The museum is small so you can do it quickly. We went there on the first Sunday of the month so it was free, and fortunately because we didn't find it exceptional. Some windows where you had to use a button to operate something or other didn't work, too bad.

Museum of old toys until the end of the 20th century. Lots of little activities throughout the museum to make it more attractive and to please young and old alike.

Good morning, I took the grandchildren to see the TomTom and Nana exhibition because my 8-year-old grandson is a fan. What a disappointment: an exhibition not at all suitable for children of this age. A rather boring video of the author and book brochures which left him completely indifferent. No one to explain to you on site, nothing interactive that can capture the child's attention. We stayed there for 5 minutes. Fortunately there was the museum and its brochure adapted to the age of each child to interest them.

A real journey through time that takes you back to childhood and invites you to daydream. (Translated by Google) Very nice building recently redone. However, I did not find the exhibition and its scripting to my liking. Perhaps people who come with children have a better opinion because everything is done for them on site (activities in particular).

The welcome is very friendly and we were lucky to have the museum just for us. I'll be back !
