Is the restaurant full of history? Yes. Is it incredible to know that we might be eating at the same table where Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir were eating? Yes. Is the Café de Flore experience necessary when in Paris? Yes. However, the food mostly left us very unimpressed. The service, meanwhile, was impeccable. Our server was in a contagiously good mood and was particularly pleasant. We ordered two omelets which were good, but nothing more. However, they lacked seasoning. The price was also quite high for what I thought was an omelet. I am of the opinion that one should try Café de Flore only once for the experience and the feeling of being present in a certain monument of Paris. However, I think I should definitely go back and try other menu items as the food we had did not live up to our expectations.

Considering my experience, there seems to be little reason to prioritize Café de Flore when exploring Paris. The city boasts numerous other cafes and restaurants that not only provide better quality service but also offer a superior ambiance and atmosphere. While the café's historical significance may draw some in, those seeking a more enjoyable and satisfying dining experience in Paris would do well to explore other options. Café de Flore in Paris is undeniably an iconic establishment, steeped in history and frequented by some of the most renowned individuals of its time. However, my recent visit revealed a somewhat exaggerated reputation. Regrettably, the service left much to be desired. It was apparent that the staff, who undoubtedly have to deal with a constant stream of visitors, appeared either fatigued or under the weather during my visit. This unfortunate situation somewhat detracted from the overall experience. While Café de Flore may hold a special place in the hearts of some for its historical significance, it is important for modern travelers to remember that Paris is teeming with culinary gems, each offering its unique charm and exceptional service. Exploring the city's diverse gastronomic scene may lead to more memorable and satisfying dining experiences.

Cafe de Flore is a classic Parisian cafe with a long and storied history. It's a great place to people-watch, enjoy a cup of coffee, or have a leisurely brunch. The brunch menu is extensive and features classic French dishes like eggs Benedict, croque-madame, and crêpes. The atmosphere at Cafe de Flore is what really makes it special. I absolutely loved their special cafe flore coffee.

Lovely spot in Paris! ❤️ Make sure you have loads of time because seating will take a while as well as being served! We waited 30min + till our waiter took our order. Then we changed seats to a different area where we had a lovely waiter that helped us with recommendations! 🥰 Be patient there is always going on a lot! The orange juice was not fresh. You are better off with a cappuccino or a hot chocolate 🍫 Tea was great too! Croissant 🥐 was big but felt like it was yesterday’s batch. Kind of need to dip it in your coffee ☕️ Overall very nice cafe but quite crowded and chaotic 🥲❤️

Many people just go there because it is a famous IG spot. You can see many girls sitting in the front row just to have a photo with this place. I ordered a croissant, club sandwiches, iced coffee, and hot tea. All of them were terrible. The croissant was dry and flat. The club sandwiches were too pricey. The iced coffee tasted like coffee machine washing water, and the hot tea was like water. The service was acceptable. The staff was a bit forgetful (he didn’t serve water and forgot to place cutlery). The price was a bit unreasonable for me. Plus, they will charge for things such as jam and butter. Overall, I won’t EVER return to this place again. There are MANY places much better.

The hype was destroyed with awful behavior from the hostess, as we waited in a long queue to be seated, and when it’s our turn, she offered a table facing the street, it was small table but it’s good for two or three with long bench and a chair in the other side, so we are two and we sit next to each other on the bench to face the street. But in a rude way she said you can’t sit like this and you have to face each other! We said there is another empty table by the street, can we sit there? She said yes but we need to clean it first, we said sure we will wait, she said no wait out side! We waited out side to be surprised that a couple came skipping the queue and sit on that table!! When we told the hostess she said not my problem speak to the waiter who seated them!!!! To be honest the waiter felt impressed and he apologized as he explained the couple are regular customers! But he promised us with a better table and he said it is ok to wait inside. But while we are waiting another waiter told us to wait outside and we ignored him. And when we called to sit on the table we promised the hostess again in a rude way said where are you going? Again we ignored her as we are called by the waiter who she said to resolve the problem with. In another hand. The place is cozy and the food is good. But will never go there again with that kind of attitude.

Everything is so perfect that I can’t think of anything else to say. Apart from the long queue in the morning, the waiting time was long but it’s worth it. Really recommend the dish in the pic (forgot the name) but absolutely delicious!

Not worth the visit. It’s an iconic place that most certainly has lost the touch that it must’ve once had before. The hot chocolate was very boring and pastries were standard. A very gauche touristy spot with the vibe of a subpar hotel breakfast. If you want anything from this place then maybe grab a few pictures of the outside, you won’t be missing anything from the inside. If you have a compulsion to visit then fine but if the queue to get in is longer than 5 minutes you must have some self respect and go elsewhere.

One of the best brunch I had in Paris. This place has an amazing vibe, bubbly and busy. Heard about this place on IG and made it a point to visit. We had the Flore and it was really tasty. This place is kind of pricey. A glass of mimosas was €17! I guess they can charge this much because of how popular the cafe is. Will I go back next time I’m in Paris, Absolutely!!!!

Legendary place! This summer I went there a lot of time and always enjoyed it. Service is polite, friendly, and fast. Hot chocolate here for me is the best. I checked this season a lot of hot chocolate in different places (not only in Paris but in other parts of France) and in Flore it's fantastic! Price 11€ worth it. And it's not only about chocolate, but about atmosphere. There is a lot of place inside and on veranda but people prefer seat at first row, that's why there is a queue from time to time. If u fun of Starbucks, then this place is not for you. It's funny to see how teens try to order coffee with caramel or other toppings. 10 out of 10.

We visited for breakfast and it seemed very busy already that nobody noticed that there were new customers. We sat to a table which was available and they asked us to move after we all settled because there was gonna be some work done on that side. We had wait for a long until our order was taken and appeared to be that the coffee machine was not working. Anyway we choose alternative and finally got some food. The croissant, which Paris is popular for, was below the average. The only tasty item was the omelette. Upon settling the bill at least the waiter apologized for the delay.

We sat outside It was extremely busy .... Waiting staff were slow and not Ttentive, but it was busy. Had to ask twice for various things. Food was excellent and gorgeous champagne. Great for a visit and to say you've experienced it, however .... slightly over priced and underwhelming service Didn't have one but the hot choc looked out of this world

The Cafe de Flore is a must visit as everyone said. We didn’t wait long we had good service , we were wanting to try the famous hot chocolate with croissant but they had run out of pastries that day.. the place it has really nice vibe if you think some famous artist and writers were there such as Robert Desnos, and Pablo Picasso but I think it was very overpriced for two hot chocolate 23€ also one woman that she was PR or Manager I asked to point out the toilets for me and she really scan my outfit first before she answer me back like I felt judged. I think they want only influencers as customers

When I visited Paris I had to visit "Café de Flore". We waited quite a while but not too long. We were received very nicely, definitely the service is amazing! The waiter was very friendly and explained the dishes to us, and we consulted him and we really saw that he understood the contents of the dishes and there was nothing he didn't know, in my opinion this is one of the most important things in the restaurant. After that we ordered the food. We waited a long time I won't lie. the food was quite tasty. It was very loud and I felt like we were being judged, but it's probably just the unfriendly people who were a table next to us. I really liked the concept of the restaurant and the design is very beautiful and nice. The prices were relatively expensive. And in addition we wanted to pay by credit card but the POS terminal didn't work for them and they had a problem with WiFi so we had to walk a relatively long distance to an ATM to pay. It was very nice there, but I won't go back again.

A very famous and trendy place in Paris, we wanted to try it and the truth is that it was good but nothing out of this world, there are better cafes in Paris and with better prices, logically you pay for the location and the marketing of the place. Customer service was quite good and friendly. There were quite a few people!! We ordered the charcuterie board (cheese and sausages) and it was good but not what it's worth (€29). I went because of how famous it is but I wouldn't repeat.

Very nice café to have breakfast at while visiting Paris. It’s an iconic place where you can enjoy one of the best pastries and omelette. The breakfast menu has a huge variety and will leave you full for sure. The waiter was extremely friendly and it’s the reason why we always keep on going there every time we visit Paris. I definitely recommend you to try this place even though it’s a little bit on the expensive side but depending on what you order, you can end up paying a reasonable price for a nice experience at one of the most famous and popular café in Paris.

Obviously this place has become incredibly popular over the last few years and we had a short wait to be seated. We opted to sit outside as it would save time waiting to be seated inside. The staff were very pleasant and the food and coffee was excellent. I opted for the quiche and it was one of the best I've ever had in my life! Not all that relevant, but it was entertaining to watch the woman who controls the seating ignore and refuse to sit an incredible rude and demanding customer.

It's not possible to be in Paris and not to visit the famous Café de Flore. The historical place opened since 1887 is simply the best to enjoy a cocktail selections with champagne. The customer service is on high standards and it's very well managed. This is probably the busiest café all day, but always can find a table. The staff is friendly and kind, as even to help you what to choose to consume. Highly recommended to everyone to enjoy that great place even over a glass of champagne!

Pricey but everything is good and let's be real, most people are there for the atmosphere more than anything. Except a wait and typical French service but for a classic French dish this is a definite must if you're visiting Paris. I went several times during my month in town sometimes just for drinks and other times does meal. 10/10

Came here to mainly taste the hot chocolate with cream. It was tasty and definitely shareable since you get a decent amount of the hot chocolate in a small carafe. Also tried the Dam Blanche ice cream which was large and tasty. The line goes pretty quickly if you aren’t too picky on whether you sit inside or out and servers were friendly. This place is also pretty pricey but many things can be shared. Cafe de Flore is really a tourist activity to do here - you’ll find primarily English speakers and others. If you’re interested In being amongst French speakers, I’d recommend a brasserie. The foods/drinks are relatively the same and are cheaper and perhaps even tastier.

For a delicious breakfast and coffee it’s a good and cozy place. I forgot to take pictures of the club sandwich and the eggs but both were delicious. The service is really good although it’s full!! Please be nice to the staff when you go there. They do a great job 👏🏻

The food is very good, especially the croissant. The food was 5 stars but sadly our first waiter was very rude, we asked for the menu and he told us that he knows how to do his job! We got another waiter later that was very polite. Other than the bad waiter everything else was superb!

Food was good , the croissants were to die for and the hot chocolate was absolutely banging however if you want to wine and dine with Chef Remiz this is place , upper floor is flooded with little mice and they just casually stroll around . When we asked the waiter he just said yeah its just a little mouse. Like for real , if you have an open restaurant and you charge 9€ for an orange juice , you surely cant have mice around. Will never come back

During a quick stay in Paris, I couldn't help living out my Emily in Paris experience and visited Cafe de Flore. I must say how impressed I am by the movement of the line. I had no idea how much of a spot this actually was. We were seated quickly and enjoyed a nice meal and pleasant afternoon. Solid spot for breakfast or lunch.

One of my favorite hot chocolate. Rich but smooth, not stick to the throat. I felt like having another cup but the price of €13 paused me! Food taste good. Service was ok but waiter was never around. The queue was quite long but some people just walked in and get a table instantly! The restaurant could have provide better experience to maintain the reputation.

A Picasso experience. We had a wonderful time last night where we share a Club Sandwich and Quiche. I was so surprised and pleased after having these simple meals made with perfection. My choice of a Porto for them was excellent 👌👍.

First time visiting and had a bad experience. First of all, I requested a table indoors and got one outside. Service was pretty bad overall, the waiter was impatient and blamed the kitchen for never getting the toast and the eggs (had to cancel after waiting 30 min). Cafe creme was good but the orange juice was very expensive for the quality. There was a line but the wait was not too long. However, this place is now definitely and sadly a tourist trap despite all the history it has.

Archetypal tourist trap. The fact that eggs with sausage are 22 euros tells you everything you need to know about the place. The hot chocolate is pretty solid though. Nothing to be really get excited about.

The atmosphere is pleasant and it's amazing to realize you're dining in such a historic place. However, we were quite disappointed with the service and food quality. The waiter seemed busy and inattentive, requiring multiple reminders to serve us. Our order included French onion soup, mille feuille, a croissant, and hot chocolate. The only thing I found enjoyable was the hot chocolate, although it was a bit too sweet for my liking.

Beautiful French café! Too bad most French cafes does not have dairy free milk for coffee. I got fresh orange juice instead. It was fresh but for a tiny glass it costs 8€. Their profiteroles were delicious (15€). Service was nice and attentive. Overall it’s a nice café!

The line is worth the wait. The food and service were great. Our waiter spoke English and made sure we had everything we needed. The house tea was unique. The Flore sandwich would have been excellent if toasted on both sides with cheese. The onion soup hit the spot on a cold day. The wine selection was nice. The desserts were excellent. It is very busy place so if you are looking to just enjoy your time and relax this is not your place. Many people taking photos so made for good people watching.

Cafe de Flore is a famous spot in Paris that you have to go to when you're in the city! It is rich with history and also amazing food/beverages! It's a delicious spot that's open all day, so you can visit as early as 7:30am or as late as 1:30am Their lunch is my personal favorite, the jockey is my go-to. The have a wide array of breakfast items as well as salads, soups, sandwiches, etc. If you haven't been here then you MUST go!

Ordered grilled vegetables with goat cheese and ham. Asked them to replace ham with bacon. First they served some of the grilled vegetables and forgot peppers, pesto sauce and the goat cheese. When we asked for the same they tried to tell us that the Tomato is the pepper which it obviously is not. Then after 10 min they brought us some feta and then after again complaining some pesto by when the salad was already on our table for 30 minutes. In the end they agreed for us not to pay for the food we didn’t eat but made us pay for the bacon which was supposed to be part of the food. The manager did not appear through this charade. Terrible restaurant. Avoid like the plague!

This place is super beautiful - but only in spring/summer. Super expensive and around 11am they were out of almost everything. Waiter gave us check even though we didn’t ask about it - rude way to let us know we have to go. Carette is also famous but way more nicer.

Another famous restaurant bar in Paris. For this pleasure you will have to wait for a table for one hour, maybe more. Here you can see Parisian women drinking their coffee, business people, many tourists as well as Hollywood stars who often come to this restaurant. You must try the famous French onion soup and of course a glass of Chablis is always a good choice in France

Cafe de Flor is very very famous since many well known literatures have been here. We didn't make any reservations, and tried to walked in on Saturday morning. It is fortunate that we got a seat without waiting. A reminder here, if you want to sit outside, you definitely need to wait for a while. I love the sketch on the table mat, adorable! We ordered scramble egg, and jockey, the classic french breakfast. "Jockey" is not listed on the menu. But they do offer it. To be honest, the scramble egg is the same as other brunch's egg. Nothing special. Their coffee is french style, not italian espresso. Comparing to coffee, I'd recommend chocolate more. Overall, the food and drink are just okay, but a little pricy. But we are here for the history :)

A true classic in Paris, endulge yourself in the history of the Cafe before or during your visit. We were lucky to get a premium spot right away but there can be lines, especially around the weekend. The food and drinks are great. With the staff you have to get lucky. Some are very friendly (especially if you start your conversation with a little French) but some are rude, in a typical Parisian way. It's a great spot for people watching and enjoying a proper lunch while you're at it. Not cheap though but the quality of the food does not disappoint.

This place is just AMAZING. The chocolate is served with whipped cream and it's so delicious. The whole cafe is really beautiful, especially on the outside. (good for photos ;)). The tomato salad and the omlet were presented really simply though but i guess it's not a really big of a deal. But overall I am really happy that I came here. (They also have great lemonade!!). Perfect for the Instagram shot. The food looks and tastes great! A bit pricey but I think it's worth the experience atleast once. The chaud du chocolat is their most famous thing! It's super delicious along with their Croissants. The line up can be long so get their early. Service is the most amazing. They forgot one dish and when I asked if was still coming he said no he forgot and he'll get it now but we were full already and I asked if we can cancel since he never put the order in and he said it was "impossible".

We had a rich breakfast here. The cappuccino was good, the brioches were okay but not even that special. Moreover the waiters were all very busy and we had to ask 4/5 times to order before someone actually came to take our orders. For this price (or much less) you can definitely find something better, it’s not worth it if you go here just for the name.
