Everything here was so nice, the decor was beautiful and I did not have to wait long for food at all! No more than 10 minutes and everything was fresh and tasteful. Their pastries are to die for and the hot chocolate is so luscious and creamy! I was in Paris for the weekend and came here twice and if I could have gone before leaving then I would have! Definitely a place you must visit

My mom recommended I try this place based on something she heard from a friend about the hot chocolate. Anyone with taste buds will agree that hot chocolate is typically awful. So I said, "It's hot chocolate, how good could it possibly be?" The answer is very good. Good enough that I would argue that this place is the only place serving real hot chocolate, and the rest of the places are serving hot water and mixed with leftover melted Halloween candy. It was so good, that I bought some from their overpriced shop to bring back for her as a thank you. The rest of the food was tasty as well. Especially the Croque Madame, although the portions were small for the prices. They did dress it up real nice so at least the pictures look fancy. I get the feeling nothing here is done poorly. I took a look at some of other dishes as they passed by and they all looked really great. The ambiance of the place is also exactly what I expected from a trendy French cafe. Overly decadent and a bit stuffy.. filled with people who go out on the terrace to fart when they are home alone. I would still recommend this to anyone, simply for the hot chocolate. It really was that good, an experience in and of itself.

Really nice experience for a Christmas Eve lunch. The atmosphere was really busy, but that did not stop the service from being amazing. We were in line at 1:35 pm, reached the inside by 2:18 pm, and fully seated by 2:21 pm. Fortunately, we were taken upstairs, where it felt more cozy. By the way, our food and drinks were delicious!

I had breakfast time, i came before 45 min from the opening time to enter quickly. I ordered Mont Blanc (Top #1 in Paris) and Hot Chocolat. Both was delicious, it deserved the waiting time. The service was excellent and the atmosphere were great. I recommend the whole experience and enjoyed.

Classic Paris staple that backs up the hype. Don’t need a reservation, just wait in line. One of the best omelets I’ve ever had and the cappuccino was excellent. Tons of pastry and food options. The hot chocolate is very famous and so rich, you can definitely share with multiple people

One of the best hot chocolate in Paris. One of the famous cafes in Paris for their hot chocolate and desserts, long queues all day everyday. You would need to come early to avoid the long wait, I went at the time they opened. Inside the cafe looks amazing, there are two lines, one for dine in and one is for takeaway. The dine in side, inside has a grand display of tables, tea sets, art and a classic vibe. High tea and tea pots all around, a great place to relax and bask in the ambulance. The take away side, has a long bench of cakes and sweets on display, you can buy their famous hot chocolate in a bottle to go. The famous hot chocolate was rich, thick and velvety, they have a side of cream where you can add to taste by making it creamier or rich. Overall a great and fun experience, worth a visit.

Add this restaurant to your itinerary so you can swing by for a bite or a hot drink when around the Tuileries Garden. I came with a plus one on a Monday afternoon mid-December, which was about a 30 min wait in line. My opinion as to what I noticed is that smaller parties seemed to be seated quicker. What you come for: • Hot chocolate • Interior decor • Beautifully presented food Once seated, the server came over rather quickly, took our order, and shortly after the drinks & food were out! * There is a small gift shop on the inside, right side, that you do not have to wait in line for.

The best hot chocolate we had while we were in Paris!! There was a bit of a queue when we got there, although it moved quite quickly and we were seated within 20 to 30 minutes. This was actually one of the cheaper hot chocolates we had while we were in Paris and it was so thick and rich, you could honestly share it between two people because of how rich it was and you could get other pastries to share. We didn’t try anything else, although I’ve heard good things about this restaurant although is on the pricey side.

Delicious chocolatey goodness! We waited in line for about 30 minutes but it was worth it. I went with my 4 year old and she loved it. I got the classic hot chocolate and she got the frozen chocolate drink. It was a bit too chocolatey for her so she didn’t drink much of it but she said it was good. She did however LOVED the matchstick potatoes and said that she wants to go back just for them. I ordered the truffle ravioli and got the side of potatoes for my daughter. We were too full to try their desserts but they looked yummy too. The staff were very nice especially with my little girl.

You are here for the atmosphere. It’s a great vibe and the food is good as well. You can get cheaper food elsewhere, but it is still high quality and delicious. The hot chocolate was fantastic. Line moved quickly on a Saturday morning (showed up at 9:05am and was sitting by 9:30am). One and done place during a trip, but definitely worth a visit! Also stop by the gift shop to get hot chocolate powder to take home as a nice gift.

Food - average. You can get the same or even better for a lower price elsewhere. Dot. Let the pretty cover fool you. Hot chocolate- too thick to drink. You can pretty make your own by boiling a decent chocolate bar with a tad of cream and milk. Ambiance - the pictures makes the venue looks extravagant but it is not. We first were seated a table all the way to the back and it smells like a dirty public toilet. We later asked to be moved to a tiny table up in the front. Service- Took them so long to take the orders as well as everything else. Bathroom- needs renovation in fact the dining area could use some renovation.

This place is a wonderful cafe ☕ and restaurant! 🍴 Angelina serves an iconic selection of beautiful french 🇫🇷 pastries 🥐 and sweets 🧁 - definitely get their famous Hot 🔥 Chocolate! 🍫 Arrive early ⏰ to beat the crowds 👥 and the long line formed, or just walk into the boutique to get your order to-go. 🥡 The staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly and welcoming and the ambiance 🎶 is great! Angelina is always worth a visit while in Paris! All is absolutely high quality, may it be tea or hot chocolate, for sure all the amazing cakes/desserts. Normally you have to wait a bit to get a table but the wait is worth it…

Super friendly and fast service. The waiting line was long, but they tried to pass us quickly as well. Their signature hot chocolate is the best on their menu, thick and incredible! Amazing onion soup as well! It’s interesting to know that the tea room here was Coco Chanel’s favorite. Had a nice time!

Angelina is one of the most famous tearooms in Paris. It has a very classic fancy feel to it. The food was very good. Had some hot chocolate which was very high quality: it was thick and rich, and not excessively sweet. Also had some pain perdu au chocolat, which was quite nice as well. A bit too sweet maybe, but I guess that’s the point. The members of staff were nice. Recommended. The price maybe is a bit high for what is it, but it is very popular and it is in the centre of Paris, so it is expected for prices to be higher than what one would expect. The place is massive inside; there are many tables. However, be prepared to wait 30-50 minutes as the demand is crazy (including tourists).

Went for brunch, it was about an hour wait on a Sunday, we arrived at 9:20 AM. Once seated, qr code menu, wait to order, wasn't bad. We ordered Parisian breakfast with hot chocolate, smoke salmon eggs benedict, salmon puff pastry, and tried white hot chocolate. We didn't have to wait long for our food and we enjoyed the experience. Hot chocolate was very rich, the smoked salmon eggs benedict was okay (not fan of the toast it was on), the salmon leek puff pastry was good. Overall, it's a nice place to try while in Paris.

On of the best tea houses / coffee places in Paris. The interior design and decor are really pretty with a real vintage vibes. The waiters and waitresses are so professional and polite, they will DEFINITELY draw a smile on your face. The pastries are of the highest qualities and are extremely tasty with reasonable prices (compared to other places with the same quality / standards). I definitely recommend it.

I recently enjoyed afternoon tea at Angelina in Paris, a renowned and beautifully designed restaurant. The presentation of each dish, especially the avocado toast, was exquisite. Their signature hot chocolate was rich and delicious, served generously in a pot for two. The Mont Blanc dessert was divine, striking the perfect balance of sweetness. While the customer service was great, the downside was the lack of reservations and long queues. We waited over an hour, and it's hard to predict how long the wait will be, as guests can stay as long as they like. I recommend the restaurant consider reservations and set seating times to enhance the dining experience. Despite the wait, Angelina is a place of culinary and aesthetic delight.

Be prepared to stay in the queue for some time before you will be able to get in in Angelina. The place is really nice, big, beautiful and very well decorated. We tried the famous hot chocolate, but to be honest, I was expecting more. The Croissant was also not the best. The other sweet we had was really good, that one worth the money. The service was good!

It’s worth the wait - there was a long line outside and we had to wait for 30 mins but our first sip of hot chocolate made us forget all about the waiting. It’s a must visit ! Everything tasted scrumptious. Definitely going again and again and again! I really hope they can add some halal options soon! Till then going to go crazy on dessert and hot chocolate!

A very pretty place which is crowded all the time. Had to wait in the queue for 40 minutes. The pastry, hot chocolate and egg toast with spinach were good. Very friendly service. A little too hyped amidst the other old charming bakeries in Paris.

Angelina is a beautiful place to go and visit! The food is not amazing but is good! The hot chocolate was our favorite! Was my second time there and I tried new dishes what can be a bit better when we talk how good angelina look a nice place.

The line up outside is slightly intimidating and long, however it moves quickly as the space inside is quite large. The service is great and the space is grand and chic, but the food is the best part! We ordered a few different meals and shared so that we could taste savoury and sweet and they did not disappoint. I wouldn’t go there everyday due to the high prices and lineup but if you’re a tourist, I’d recommend stopping by once!

I dine at the renowned restaurant Angelina and I must say, it was quite an experience. While there were a few highlights worth mentioning, I must admit that I was not entirely impressed with my visit. Let's start with the positive aspects. The breakfast at Angelina was undeniably great. The menu offered a wide variety of options, from classic dishes to more innovative creations. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the flavors were well-balanced. I particularly enjoyed their freshly baked pastries, which were simply delightful. Moving on to the food, I must say it was good, but not exceptional. The dishes were well-prepared and presented beautifully, but they lacked that wow factor that one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. While the flavors were decent, they didn't leave a lasting impression. It felt like a missed opportunity to truly showcase the richness and complexity of French cuisine. Now, let's talk about the service, which was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit. The staff at Angelina was simply amazing. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Despite the great breakfast and amazing service, I must say that my overall experience at Angelina fell short of my expectations. While the food was good, it lacked that extra touch to make it truly memorable. Considering the reputation and price point of this establishment, I was hoping for a more exceptional dining experience.

This place was always on my bucket list to try some hot chocolate and I’m so happy that I could visit this place. So when we arrived here there was a long waiting time but I think it was totally worth it. Hot chocolate was beyond my expectations and it was too good (I wasn’t counting on my calories🥲). Unfortunately we missed out on trying some croissants that day because it was sold out. Nevertheless, we did try Paris breast and Mont Blanc for pastries and they were very nice. The ambiance was cozy with some friendly staffs and good vibes were all over the place.

A beautiful and elegant patisserie in the heart of Paris. Have been a couple of times now when I've visited Paris and will is somewhere to go for an elegant dine in experience. Take away packaging adds to this when taking patisserie items away too. And I tend to take a good variety away. Hot chocolate is thick and creamy.

The hot chocolate here is a MUST! My husband loves hot chocolate and he said that this was the best hot chocolate he’s ever had in his life. We also got the passiflore which is from the collection section of the menu and it was HEAVENLY. I would say unless you’re specifically craving a chocolate croissant or wanting one to dip into your hot chocolate to skip that- the chocolate croissant was just okay. We didn’t get to try their regular one, so that might have been better- we don’t know! But service here was fast and efficient- we got everything in a very timely manner. I recommend stopping by just for their hot chocolate- it was so thick and creamy and delicious!

We were visit Angelina on our first day arrived in Paris. Waiting about thirty minutes for the queue. The restaurant is very busy. The decorations in the restaurant are very beautiful. I ordered a Afternoon Tea set which only available after 3pm and my husband ordered a Avocado Eggs Benedict. I like the sweet pastries more the the savoury pieces. Hot chocolate must try.

Yes, the hot chocolate was amazing and easily was one of the best I have ever tried. If you are only curious about the hot chocolate, you can get it for a take-away for almost half the price (€4.9). Although once inside you might change your mind as it is very beautiful.

The "Mont Blanc" of Angelina is not to be missed. This tea house is very well known for its Mont Blanc and Hot Chocolate. However, it becomes too sweet. The interior is nice and the staff is friendly. A little touristic though. Definitely recommended.

Be prepared to stand in line for an hours and you will understand why Coco Chanel came here every single day when she was alive! Not only is cafe is beautiful but it has the best hot chocolate in France. It is not like watery one in USA but it is thick as soup!! Be sure to eat the chestnut mouse cake!! This is a must for us when ever we are in Paris.. be sure to take home some cocoa mix for your love one at home.. best souvenirs!

We had to wait a little bit to get in on a Sunday morning (around 9:30 am) but it worths the wait. Beautiful interiors and very courteous servers who speak English too. Our server was also very nice to children. The brunch is very filling, the hot chocolate is amazingly rich and creamy. Make sure to check out their stores too, they sell beautiful boxes of candies that a perfect souvenirs/gifts.

Been here for breakfast. I loved the ambience and the service was great. We tried the Angelina breakfast and eggs Benedict. Angelina breakfast - 3.5/5, thoroughly relished on the mini pastry assortment. Chocolate lovers would surely enjoy their Hot chocolate but it was not for me. I tried hot chocolate at multiple restaurants/cafes in Paris but, this is not your typical hot chocolate, I would say it's a thick hot chocolate. Not a big fan of their omelette either, it was bland. Eggs Benedict - 4.5/5

Service good and seated fairly quickly all things considered. Hot chocolate was very thick, reminded me of the chocolate gravy we put over buscuits in the South! Lemon cake was a but dry. Nice experience regardless.

Angelina Cafe is a very cozy place. Great atmosphere and interesting desert choices. The chocolate is a must try. Very thich and rich in flavor, it's basically a good quality melted chocolate bar. Some of the sweets were bland but the savory ones were surprisingly tasty!

Busy location. Go as soon as they open. Hot chocolate was lovely but wished that it was hot and not just warm. Food tasted good enough. Waiter was super busy so there was a delay in getting stuff and the bill. Had the brunch which was a decent amount of food.

Due to long queue, I decided to take away to enjoy the dessert in the park. The staff was kind and nice. I tried their famous dessert— Mont-Blanc. Quite disappointed, not as expected. It was over sweet but I love their rose flavour macaroon, it’s tasty. Croissant just so so, nothing special.

Very beautiful place. The breakfast was delicious, especially the famous hot chocolate its the best hot chocolate i ever had. The service is great, the staff friendly. I never had a reservation and always got a table early in the morning. If you come to Paris, you should visit Angelina for sure.

You'll need to go early in the morning right qhen they open to avoid the line as we encounter a long one when we walked out the restaurant. Food in general is good and portions are big, so a smaller sized brunch and a full one to shares between two would definitely be more than enough. Love the petite pastries and chocolate; however, the rest are just average.

I recently visited Angelina, and while the long queue made me wait for about 30 minutes to get a table, the experience was quite interesting. The waitstaff appeared incredibly busy, often not noticing hand waves or even eye contact, but it was entertaining to watch them while trying to catch their attention for an order. 😆 Thankfully, the food was great, and the desserts were even better. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, though I must admit I prefer the Mademoiselle Angelina branch more.

The line took 45 minutes. The hot chocolate was too sweet for me, especially when adding a little whipped cream. The pain au chocolat was already cold and kinda soggy. Ice cream is good and big for one person. It was still a nice experience. Servers are really polite and friendly.

The most amazing experience in Paris for food. The location is very nice, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the food outstanding. Even though there is a bit of waiting time, you totally forget it when you get inside. Waiting time for the food is not long. I would recommend to try the croquet madam and the chicken. They literally melt in your mouth. The staff is friendly and very professional. Our family wants to say thank you to Andrea, the best waitress for us. She made our brunch even better by being very caring for us to have the best time. For the dessert the hot chocolate is a must try, the taste stays afterwards forever.

I received a gift voucher for tea for two. From Sole who tried her best to get us the table we wanted to the lovely smiling waitress (sorry didn't catch her name) the service was excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised as I had read other recent reviews who complained about the service. I will just say it was absolutely spot on. We loved our afternoon tea, beautifully presented fresh savouries and lovely delicate cakes all served with tea, coffee or hot chocolate. I had the hot chocolate; yummy 😋 Yes it is touristic but who cares when you get a lovely environment, excellent service and delicious things to eat. I think next time we'll come for lunch as I saw some good looking food coming out if the kitchen. Bravo!

Hot chocolate is really rich, a-must try. Croissant is good to order along. Avocado toast is delicate and pretty. Parisienne atmosphere. Inside is bigger than I thought, there are two floors. Always a long line as it should be in Paris.
