Église Saint-Sulpice is a Parisian treasure. The moment I entered, I was captivated by its beauty, both inside and out. The grand interior with its stunning stained glass windows and historic charm is a testament to Paris's rich heritage. The famous organ and occasional concerts add to the enchantment. The exterior, set against the charming Place Saint-Sulpice, makes it a perfect spot for soaking up Parisian culture. Accessible and welcoming, Église Saint-Sulpice offers a serene escape in the heart of the city. Whether you're an architecture enthusiast or simply seeking a taste of Paris's history and culture, don't miss this gem. (also, one is seeing the pictures and absolute breathtaking when you see it with your own eyes)

Even without being a pivotal location in Dan Browns "DaVinci Code" where the Church contains the "Rose Line", it's certainly worth a visit. The line is there, but it was created for other things that are interesting too. The square around it. The mismatched towers, the art in the building and the open airy feel make it an excellent stop.

Comparable to Notre Dame this magnificent church is famous for the outstanding frescos by Delacroix and where the Da Vinci Code was filmed. Magnificent.

Simply amazing. This is one of the most incredible cathedrals in the city. It's got to have one of the biggest organs too.

As an atheist from a Protestant background in Northern Ireland i never really had a reason to visit many cathedrals. So when I was on a walk through Paris and passed it I stuck my head in and was blown away by this place. Beautiful architecture and it's free to dander in (there was even a mass going in when I was there). If you're in the area you should definitely check it out.

It is a spectacular church and a pleasure to go and hear summer Organ concerts on Sundays. Its17th century architecture is absolutely amazing and it houses the largest organ in France! I highly recommend a visit although there always seems to be some construction going on. Kirk Regalia Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida U.S.A.

It’s absolutely a beautiful and magnificent church. It’s huge inside with amazing dome and sculptures. It’s underrated and doesn’t not get much fame as it should have.

Very pretty old church. The main attraction though are the murals painted by Eugene Delacroix, which depict scenes from the bible, but also have a second meaning: the assassination of the night templars by king phillip (the iron king)! Its free to look at and very skilfully painted! Must see!

In any other city, the church of Eglise Saint-Sulpice would be a major tourist attraction. In Paris, however, it is easy to miss despite the spectacular size and facade. Nothing about the church (the 2nd largest in the city) suggests that people are welcome to walk in, but anyone can. Inside the amount of art, sculpture, stained glass, and painted frescos is mind boggling. It is so large, that a number of the beautiful frescos are peeling or have darkened, but it is still an incredible location not to be missed!

Beautiful Church! I was struck by the architecture and the paintings on the wall. It just goes to show how ingenious and capable mankind are.

I love this church. I had the chance to visit it with my family while it was almost empty. It’s a very enchanting and holy place although some area still in renovation.

A beautiful church and dominate its surround and second biggest church in Paris. Amazing monumental facade. Once you're inside you'll discover the beautiful baroque chapel of the Virgin Mary and the great organ.

Saint Sulpice is the 2nd largest church just next to notre dame .it's one of the most underrated churches. The history of the church is not really familiar as there was another church in the same place which which was elongated and restored the renovation of this church took a really long time as there was no sufficient funds .it's one to visit church .

A beautifully decayed old church with very nice artwork and architecture. An interesting place to visit if you have 30 or so minutes. We saw a video by Rick Steve's about the organ. We stopped by at 9am Sunday morning to hear the organ.

Well worth a side trip from Rue Saint Germaine. Stumbled on organ concert by chance. The acoustics didn't disappoint. Square out front has a very nice fountain

Église Saint-Sulpice is so beautiful inside and outside. Worth a visit. Built in the 17th century, with foundations from the 12th century, the Eglise Saint-Sulpice is one of the biggest churches in Paris. Located in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, in the Saint-Germain-des-Près district, it is definitely worth a visit. Inside, admire the nave, the Chapelle de la Vierge with a statue of Jean-Baptiste Pigalle, the sacristy and its wood-panelling in a Louis XV style, mural paintings by Eugène Delacrois, and the large organ by Cavaillé-Coll. Another curiosity: the gnomon, (the part of a sundial which casts a shadow), with a strand of brass wire incrusted on it which represents the meridian line. Outside, from Place Saint-Sulpice, admire the beautiful facade with its two recognizable towers. After several months of renovation, the 3 paintings of Eugène Delacroix of the Chapelle des Saints-Anges are now accessible to the public. *** The Eglise Saint-Sulpice is one of the sites in Paris where the 'Da Vinci Code' by Dan Brown, best seller in 2003, was filmed. ***

Massive, active Catholic Church located just a few blocks from the Jardin Luxembourg. Lovely, airy interior. Signs at front of the church indicate that there is a wheelchair entrance on the side of the church on Rue Palatine. However, I was unable to find it (likely due to the construction on the side of the church).

A must visit! Don’t just see the Notre Dame. :) amazing baroque church with a beautiful interior. It needs a restoration, but the slight decay adds to its otherwordly beauty. Note especially the pulpit from 1788, from which in 1791 its priest dared to speak out against the revolution and the killings that started to take place in its wake. A beautiful church well worh a visit!

I had the opportunity to experience this gorgeous church on Easter morning. The organ prelude was exquisite and the service was wonderful!

I am not religious as I am a scientist but I love the architecture of the churches. This one not only blew my mind by how pretty it is, but also the organ concert blew my mind. It was a coincidence that the concert in December just happened to be that evening but it was magical. It made a church a whole new place. People were also very kind.

They claim the church is the biggest in Paris. Incredible insides. English guides available at specific dates. See attached pic with schedule for December 2022.

Amazing old church, not bright and shiny like Sacre Coeur but beautiful in its own way and much older.Currently undergoing restoration so some parts blocked off and some construction noise as well but definitely worth visiting, also a small arts and antiques market in front

The rose line in “The davincii code” is in this church. You can also appreciate the painting on the walls.

One of the oldest church in Paris. Magnificent and preserved architecture: a haven of peace in the constant district buzzing. Worth a detour during your Parisian stay.

Typical, but beautiful European Cathedral. We enjoyed a short visit here and the surrounding neighborhood and fountain. Worth a quick stop if you're in the area.

Just like in all the movies. A beautiful church to visit while in Paris, for both the architecture and the spirit.

The place was quiet with no tourists. Made famous by the movie angels and demons with Tom Hanks. One of the best cathedrals in Paris and one of the most impressive. Must visit. Pictures do not do justice. The place is so big I could not get the whole thing in my frame

One of Paris’ must see churches. This neoclassical beauty is modeled after St Paul’s in London and is just as magnificent. We arrived in time for the Sunday organ recital after the 11 o’clock mass. The music was teeth rattling. We give it four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating scale
