Although this is a tourist trap as it’s located right next to the Arc de Triomphe on Champs Elysees street, they do provide good service and good food. As it’s convenient for most tourists who are visiting Arc de Triomphe that want to sample some french foods and don’t want to pay the prices from the cafe across the street, this is a good place to get most of classic French food such as lamb, escargots, boeuf bourguignon, pastas and french fries. We came for their breakfast. I had a satisfying chocolate drink and a delicious salmon crepe. Both of these are very French. I just regretted that I didn’t have a chance to have breakfast at Angelina Paris that has the world renown creamy hot chocolate. Maybe next time. My friend got their omelette and he was very satisfied with his meal. The prices were reasonable especially with the strong dollars. Our service Andre provided us very good service and showed us how to get to Chanel store for shopping duty.

Stopped in while strolling the Champs-Élysées on a Saturday evening. It was very busy but got a prime table for two at the street window…great for people watching. 🤩Had a margarita pizza and penne. Pizza was very tasty. Service was excellent! Waiter (wish I had gotten his name) was very attentive. A bit pricey but it is the Champs-Élysées.

I visited Paris during the last stage of the Tour of France to enjoy the cycling event ant promote my bicycle brand. I stopped one day and after that didn't see a reason why not to come back. The combination of delicious quality menu, they had the beer that I like, great location, and excellent customer service were enough reasons for me to go back several times. Clean safe and friendly environment. Thanks Humberto Murati Owner Murati Titanium Bicycles

Enjoyed a delicious meal of garlic snails and pizza with a couple of nice cold beers on the Champs Elysees terrace. It's also a lovely spot to people watch.

Lovely environment and initially felt that it was a lovely service, however I noted that the service was superficial. Before we even finish our desserts, the staff brought forward the bill to get rid of us although there were other empty tables available. I was charged 70 euros to the card although the total bill was 58+. So I told him that the amount was wrong but he kept insisting me to sign on the receipt as though he didn’t understand English. In the end, he got fed up and took out 10 euro from his wallet and asked me to sign again. Meaning he did understand (even my non verbal cues) but was deliberately cheating me off 10++ euros. If I were to be calculative he should return me 11+ euros right? But I didn’t want to make a scene so I accepted the cash and sign. Word of advice when u are in Paris, be careful no matter how nice they seem. Anyway, My friend and I ordered a pizza to share but only 1 plate was offered due to the table space constraint. We occupied the next table to put our drinks so that we could put another plate and eat comfortably but the staff forced us back to the single table. We haven’t finished the pretzels but he cleared without even asking. I give 3 stars because I thought the pizza was quite tasty. The tiramisu cake however, lacked the coffee taste. But being almost cheated like that made me not wanting to go back there again. So do not be deceived by how smiley they seem or the pleasantries/compliments they extend to you. Just observe how oblivious they are to your needs and how they will try to dupe you at billing time. Tips should be earned. Not through dishonest means.

This restaurant is situated in the middle of the Champs-Élysées. Large selection of food and drinks, fast and very nice service. Really recommend.

Came here for the second time but it was not quite a pleasant visit. The food does not taste as tasty as the first time and same goes to the service given. Having said that, it’s definitely a good place to sit and relax the day!

Late night stop with family to get a bite to eat and coffee after a long day or visiting. Nice stylish location on the main fashion district and lots of incredible sights to see. Food was great and coffee ☕️ awesome. Service was a little slow and somewhat unfriendly however I won’t knock it too bad as it was very late and probably the end of day shift.

One of the classic coffee shops located at the a very strategic location. It is a famous place and well known for its excellent sevices. You may be lucky to meet some celebrities while drinking your coffee! The staff are so friendly and the place is very clean.

We only had a desert, espresso excellent, latte good, sweets great, service was awesome however price was high. All in the pictures cost 37 Euros but we enjoy the atmosphere.

Wouldn’t necessarily recommend as a repeat spot. The price was extremely high, but this is the price we pay for being on the main street in front of the Arc. The escargot was very delicious, but priced high. 15 euro for a juice drink that wasn’t even included with alcohol. The lamb chops were filled with fat.

I recently visited this cafe and had the pleasure of trying their American coffee with Tiramisu. I must say, it was a delightful combination. The coffee had a rich and smooth flavor that perfectly complemented the indulgent sweetness of the Tiramisu. The balance of flavors was spot-on, making it a truly satisfying treat. If you're looking for a delicious coffee and dessert pairing, I highly recommend trying their American coffee with Tiramisu. It's a winning combination that won't disappoint.

Lovely restaurant on the Champs Elysee. Bit of a tourist trap, very expensive for a salad and a sandwhich but lovely nonetheless. The food was nice, and the restaurant was a great spot. The only odd thing was, we ordered drinks to start but the waiter then bought the bill and when we asked to order food, the waiter seemed annoyed at us and said 'well you didn't tell me that before'. When he then bought the final bill over, he immediately asked us how much of a tip we were going to give, and then suggested 20 %, 30% or 40%. We felt very pressured by this and didn't really know what to say so, just be wary of this.

I ordered a cheese sandwich and was surprised to find a plate containing a salad, even though I did not know whether this was free or not. The price of the sandwich was only 6 euros, and when I finished my order, the waiter came to me with a bill worth 13.5 euros!! Although I did not notice it until after I paid. The rude thing that happened was that the waiter asked for the bill to be 15 euro!! After reviewing the bill, it turned out that the order was not what it was. Very rude. I do not recommend visiting it at all and I will not return to this place again. The foolish waiter deceived me.

"Disappointed with the overrated steak; it didn't quite live up to the hype. The flavors were average, and the price didn't match the quality. Unfortunately, the experience was further dampened by the slightly rude staff. Hoping for improvement in both the food and service in the future."

What can I say about Cafe George? It's absolutely incredible tasty, and the service was one that you wish you had everywhere. Our waiter Cristof understood all the food on the menu, and I was pleased with every bite. I ordered the salmon steak with pasta, the salmon was crispy on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside. The flavor was great. I love the buttery sauce. I also ordered a margarita, and it was good, it almost tasted like a skinny, fresh squeezed and balanced. If you are everything, make sure you come here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Despite the recent poor reviews of the rude waiters and expensive food, a young waiter, JOANNES, who served my table was an absolute ANGEL👍. He was very welcoming, patient and friendly throughout the entire time and gave us a really pleasant dining experience in Paris. We ordered all the dishes that he recommended (beef filet, fish and duck breast), which were heavenly. Do keep a look out for him when you’re dining at Café George V. Thanks Joannes 💯

Doubt I would ever go back to this place. My wife's crepe was burnt in places, salad was plain and not much to it. 7 euro for a bottle of Evian water. Pizza didn't have much flavor. I felt my salad flavor combination didn't make sense. It sounded better than it tasted. Service wasn't bad though.

Canard de Magret cooked perfectly (as usual in France at virtually everywhere), but side of mashed potatoes not so good. Service was fine. Nice atmosphere - great for quick pop-in lunch at Champs Elysses area when walking by, but nothing special.

We visited this cafe twice for breakfast. The service was excellent- very friendly and attentive staff. The environment and atmosphere was good too. Food was good to average. We had hot chocolate, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, toast and pastries.

We ate outside here. It was fantastic. Service was superb. We had the standard breakfast. Toast and jam, a croissant and hot drink. (coffee and darjeeling) it was awesome. Highly recommend. We did try to speak French but the server spoke very good English. Made us feel welcome

Breakfast here was ok, a little pricey but it is to be expected when it is on the Champs Elysees luxury shopping street. The taste was alright, a pretty standard French breakfast with croissant, omelette and baguette. The space in between tables can be very little and hence a bit squeeze. However, our waiter was very friendly and kudos to him.

There is a difference between an expensive meal and an insult. We paid 16 € for two cups of tea and 19 for a "Caesar Salad" which is the worst I have ever come across. After discovering hair on my salad, I got a new one. The meat was probably precooked and held in a fridge for a week. My GF spat it out right away. I could not eat more than a bite. Probably 5ml of dressing, a rotten tomato..imagine paying almost 40 bucks for that. I regret this visit. Do not dare to come here.

Good resto cafe located on the champ elysee. Good food and service. Prices are a bit high but lower than the neighboring cafes on the Champ Elysee.

Amazing staff! The gentleman gave us all the information we needed about the menu, the drinks and food specialties. Great service all together. Quick and no issues. Cool ambiance. Thank you gentleman! P.S. They have halal chicken. Fantastic!

It's a great lively place in the middle of the hustle bustle of Paris. Ambience and the staff were very nice. The staff that served us was friendly, and made us comfortable. Food as per our experience was OK. Nothing really great or extraordinary. I feel the place is too cramped. Too many tables in a small place. Your chair touches the person behind.

Thank you so much to Samson, our waiter, for giving my sister and I a great experience here. We picked this place because it was right in champs elysees and perfect for people watching and pizza. We got sat at a table by the windows and was told by another waiter we couldn’t sit there because it was for four people and made us move to a cramped space. Samson saved the night for us when he allowed us to sit at the front window with 2 mini tables to look outside and enjoy our meal on our last day in Paris. The pizza was good and the cocktails were very good as well! Not the most amazing pizza but definitely hit the spot after walking around all day and people watching. It is a little expensive but I expect that on this street, I would come back again if Samson is our waiter. Thank you!

We only went there one time and the food and the service was great. Crepes are awesome; their margarita pizza is good ; the chicken burger is fried and not grilled. Their hot dog is Amazing.

Les Champs-Elysées can be a hard place to find decent food at a fair price. Even harder to find good service in the Parisian style of things. Café George V had all of the above and i will definitely go back next time I'm over that part of town. Some of the best service I've had in France!

Here to celebrate my 30th Birthday, planning to have a 3 course meal and a couple bottles of of champagnes! But the entrance was absolutely awful!! 2 waiters caught mine and my fiance's attention at the same time. A big argument then occured due to the waiters arguing who got our attention first. Another waiter then interrupted demanding to know who got out attention first. We then sat there being stared at with anger and dismay by the waiter who lost. We chose our table by location not by server. Our visit was very uncomfortable and not pleasant. We will not return

Given the location, this restaurant is popular with tourists. The server was really friendly and was prompt with my order. The food was delicious. I had the most French thing on the menu, a ham & cheese crepe which didn’t disappoint. The wine was also good. The prices are typical of many restaurants in Paris so expect at least €16 for a main.

We did not plan on eating here, but my wife was hungry and a waiter got our attention as we walked by. Looks like they do that often. In any case, we gave it a try. Big mistake as it was the worst food experience with our time in Paris. I ordered Magret de Canard au Miel Épicé, duck breast fillet with spicy honey sauce. Sounds delicious right? Well it was a big disappointment! The duck was overcooked and tough. The potatoes "au gratin" on the plate were nothing special either. My wife had Boeuf Bourguignon, which was OK, but did not come close to one she had a few days ago at another restaurant. We always get dessert wherever we go, but we didn't here as we could not wait to get our bill and leave, fast enough. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially with all the choices, better choices, available in Paris.

If i could put 0 stars i would, by far the worst establishment i have been too during my paris trip. The service is so bad and waiters are so impolite. If this cafe is linked to the hotel its an insult to the hotel name. Server was arrogant and clearly treat us so bad cause we where young (26 & 28) for a 10 euro coffee and 17 euro ice cream i expect to have a smile. I will never step foot in this place ever again, and i encourage everyone to go somewhere else, where at least they will appreciate and smile when they take you money.
