I expected a more personal river cruise but instead got one with 1000 people on board! Chaos getting on board with everyone trying to get on the top deck. There was very little supervision, hence a mad scramble for the best advantage points. Some good photo opportunities, but that's about all. Colino1861 not recommended ❌️ book another cruise with less people.

The view from the top of the boat takes you to the most significant places & bridges along the Seine river, did not know there are that many bridges in Paris. I recommend dressing warmly as it was quite chilly on the river. The english audio could be more informative into the history & stories behind rather than just mere introduction. Also, it's best to go during the sunset 🌅 Dress up and be ready to take a lot of pictures!

Not too bad value. Good view from the top of the boat. We went in March and recommend dressing warmly as it was quite chilly on the river, even when it was very sunny. Slightly disappointed that the tour did not go slightly further along the river to the Statue of Liberty. Also the english audio was not particularly informative and not quite loud enough to hear above the noise when going under a bridge. Pay close attention to the houseboats on the right side of the return trip around the island; fascinating glimpse into peoples floating residences!

Great experience, we took the boat at 17:00 which is the perfect time at winter between day and night. The first floor is heated so we get out to take pictures and run inside to get warm.

Easy booking online, no reservation needed, just pick the a time on their schedule you want to board. I took the 9:00pm and it’s amazing to see Paris at night. It has an open and covered deck. Worth it.

I have done 10 plus trips to Paris, and this was one of my absolute highlights. Honestly, if you want to see the city, taste amazing food, and be serenaded by a violinist then the boat is THE place to be. I had the Prestige menu, washed down with white wine, all the while enjoying Paris at her finest. The food is excellent, the service second to none, and the overall package the best value compared to many restaurants. Plus, the boat passed the Tour Eiffel just as it began to sparkle, so many Extra points for that.

Very nice boat trip taking about an hour seeing many nice locations around the river! By this company the boat is very new and it has the first floor with big cabin with air conditioner! It’s a saver under a 30+ degree summer sunny day! Recommend it

We went on the evening dinner cruise in April 2022 - an incredible experience! The staff were respectful and attentive, the service was very efficient and smooth. The food was very good (especially the dessert courses), but in all honesty we were there for the views... seeing Paris from river level as the sun sets and dusk settles over the city was magical, awesome, absolutely amazing and an experience which will certainly remain with us. There is an upper deck for 360 degree viewing, and we were fortunate enough to have the best table (in the forward bow) while dinner was served. Highly, highly recommended!!

Great voyage at Paris river cruise with Bateaux Mouches. If you order for any champagne do collect before your ride starts no serving at the cruise.

A must have experience when you go to Paris. The seats are not that comfortable to be honest, we spent most of the time standing so we can enjoy the scenery. And the instructions audio was so distracting especially with the translation in many languages it was a heavy background noise that ruined this intimate moment

We took the standard tour (About an hour and a half) on a pretty sunny day in the Summer. It was a really lovely tour with plenty of seating options that were shaded/covered or in open air, as well as on both sides of the boat. Crew was all very friendly and the process to purchase tickets and board the boat was very simple. The boat takes a very lovely route up and down the Seine and offers lots of sightseeing. There's an audio narration during the whole cruise as well. Overall I would say it's very much worth the money for the cruise. It sounds a bit ridiculous but others who have ridden may also agree; My only complaint is that there are so many languages offered in the audio narration that it can be a bit difficult to focus on enjoying the tour because you sort of have to actively ignore the constant stream of speaking over the speakers until it gets to your native language. It can also be easy to miss parts you might understand because of this. I think it also limits them a bit on what they have time to talk about. In my opinion it may be beneficial to them to break the available narration languages up a bit across different times of the day, especially considering how many departure times they offer. I think it's absolutely fantastic they offer so many languages but it really can be a bit distracting during a fair amount of the tour. In any case I would still highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking at a fun cruise on the river for a fair price.

We had a very good experience with the dinner on Bateaux Mouches. The food was delicious, and the service was great. There was a birthday party on our side of the boat, which (despite the manager's best efforts) was pretty loud. We very much appreciated the manager taking the time to explain the situation and apologize as we were leaving. In the end, it did not prevent us from enjoying the food and the scenery and to have a very pleasant evening. A highly recommended experience.

What an evening! Bestowed upon us was a quality of entertainment truly worthy of the city it resides in. With service that is absolute and the food at the pinnacle of perfection, this cruise will complete your visit here in Paris. The views at night are breathtaking and the live violin in concert with the piano just puts this cruise at the peek of greatness. Bravo!!! Really Bravo!!!

This is an absolute must do on your trip to Paris! 10/10 recommend. Our waiter, Giovany was really friendly, and let us stumble over our French with an abundance of patience! Great atmosphere all around. There’s a photographer on board as well, and you can buy the prints for €15, which we thought was a great price and bought all 3!

Went on the €15 euro 1 hour cruise and it was very pleasant. Boat left in time and check in was super easy. The boats are comfortable and Paris is beautiful. It’s a nice thing to do for tourists but you pass by landmarks so quickly that you don’t get to fully enjoy them. I would recommend actually visiting the landmarks by foot so that you can walk around and admire. Nonetheless, this is a nice experience.

Awesome, beautiful and Amazing experience. Lovely, romantic evening. Unforgettable moments. Ambience is so good that you enjoy every moment on cruise. Time is perfect to enjoy the Paris beauty. View is clear from the boat. Staff is so friendly and supportive. Food was totally worth it. Delicious dishes served at the dinner and nice vine. We loved it. Live music is addition to the beautiful experience. Terrace is good for pictures. Also professional photographer is on board to capture our romantic moments and we can buy those photos later if we like it. Charge is just €15 per picture. Overall Amazing, love love, love. Highly recommended for couples. Enjoyed a lovely romantic evening with Eiffel tour night view.

This is a great way to see many of the sites of the city from a great vantage point. The cruise is a must do for first time visitors and is a great way to get familiar with the city. We went at sunset set and got to watch the city light up as we travelled back up the river.

Amazing experience cruising the Seine river in new year’s eve! I went for the 11 pm trip. When the clock struck midnight and the tower lit up, we were just around the foot of the tower.

Fun and easy to discover the monuments of Paris by the river. Be careful if it’s raining they have to shortened the trip cause they can’t drive under the bridges by Notre Dame

A relaxing, fun and beautiful way to experience the heart of Paris. Paris is in no way overrated. I've been around 10 times now and have never been anything less than thrilled to return each time. The last time I went about four years ago, I was able to bring my wife and two kids, and we had a blast, particularly when we were able to cap off our trip with a ride and dinner on the Bateaux-Mouches. I ironically arranged an entire cruise for a musical group I visited Paris with for my daughter's recital, but we missed the dinner cruise ourselves (my family did) because we got stuck in traffic prior to the cruise. We missed it by 5 minutes at most. Fortunately the kind folks at Bateaux-Mouches let me reschedule for another day, and we came back during what was surely a much quieter time, and was able to enjoy our delightful sunset cruise with just my wife and kids. The dinner itself is extremely nice. Yes, it's a tourist 'trap' but you won't find me complaining about the three-course meal we had. Being able to walk around, take pictures, and go up on top of the boat is extra nice, especially when you pass by the Eiffel Tower. You probably owe it to yourself to treat yourself to a dinner cruise on this company's fleet of boats that navigate the Seine. Just make sure to book in advance or risk disappointment in finding your time slot all booked up. The reservation folks also speak English in case you need to email them ahead of time. I recommend them highly.

On a previous trip, I had a chance to be on a river cruise in Paris as well. Therefore, I was able to compare with this service. The specific trip I took, was quite late at 10 PM, it was only for an hour. The fact that they had this time available, without previous advance planning, fit great into our evening. The trip felt short, not only in time, but in distance, now that it was only half the distance, the other half was going back to same route to arrive to its departure point. Plenty of opportunity to see the Eiffel Tower at night from different viewpoints, which did not “get old”, it was always just amazing to see it from the river itself. Going through different bridges was also an exciting experience. This was a two-story vessel with the second level being open air, which made it much nicer, yet if it is raining or a cold night, the first level would be just fine, even though it takes away the sense of freedom as it is enclosed. The vessel was very big, it had way too many seats, you were able to walk around or move from the first level to the second level, or even from the inside to the outer part guard rails. Good experience, yet not wowed.

Hopping onto a boat and enjoying a tour down the Seine, for over an hour-long trip, seeing the capital’s iconic monuments is surely top of the list of things to do during a trip to Paris.

I just give 4 star because some of the chairs is not good they are broken so be attention before you seated them! but overalls are good experience

Embarking on a Bateaux Mouches river cruise in Paris is an enchanting experience that showcases the city's iconic landmarks from a unique perspective. Drifting along the Seine River, passengers are treated to picturesque views of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, and other architectural wonders lining the riverbanks. The onboard ambiance is elegant and relaxed, with knowledgeable guides providing insightful commentary about the city's history and landmarks. Whether you opt for a daytime sightseeing cruise or a romantic evening dinner cruise, Bateaux Mouches offers a memorable way to explore Paris's beauty. Don't miss this unforgettable experience during your visit to the City of Light!

Took the more expensive dinner to secure the seats by the windows. First Class experience, with friendly staff. Well run and food was delicious. Beautiful sites at night. The live music was very good and very entertaining. True professionals.

Quite busy/crowded and honestly quite boring cruise. They offer commentary in multiple languages by recording which play one after the other, which is very distracting. We did a night cruise, decent view. Would look for other options in the future

  • 4/5 Jess 1 year ago on Google
The food was okay. It sort of had that "I'm at a wedding and it's being catered" type of vibe but you're not there for the food. You're there for the views. We went at night and while I'm told taking a dinner cruise in Paris is "such a touristy thing to do" do it anyway. The views were magical. Paris is beautiful during the day, but she sparkles at night. We went on our last night in the city and it was the perfect way to end our holiday.

A no frills boat tour of Paris. There is a automated narrator that tells you about some of the sights. Indoor and outdoor seating. A vending machine onboard. Great value for what you get. Loved it

A great, classic Paris experience. I went here for a dinner cruise. Mine was more intimate and quiet. Had a dress code. Was more classy than the other cruises. That said, pretty reasonably priced for March. Of course, great views of the city along the river at night. It's touristy yes, but not over the top. Would recommend.

Enjoyed the experience on the cruise but it was a little bit confusing to find the exact place based on the address on the e-ticket. Better to put the address of ticket office rather than the address of bridge 😂

  • 4/5 Olivier R. 3 years ago on Google
Nice and affordable, most places of interest nearby the Seine are covered. However as commentaries are made through speakers rather than headsets, the time it takes to run through six or seven languages makes them very brief, e.g. no mention that the Eiffel tower was intended to be dismantled after the Universal exhibition and so on

Seine River evening cruise with my wife and 10-year old daughter in early September was one of my most romantic experiences ever. Narrated tour provides lots of great information and hits all the important stops. The evening lights and river breeze make the ambience unforgettable. Ample space on open outdoor deck.

Scenery and setting is absolutely fantastic. Crowd and far less than personal experience is a major down side. Food is good, not great and service is slow with the courses drawn out over multiple hours. There are far superior options with similar pricing available. Recommend you pass unless this is your only option.

We did the Excellence Dinner and it was... Excellent! Food was outstanding, great service, and you got to see every major site without the crowds. Perfect for first time visitors or those with limited time in the city bc you see it all. This was a honeymoon dinner and it was perfect. Excellence dinner included welcome champagne, tall bottle of Evian, choice of red white or champagne, appetizer and breads, starter, main, cheese, and dessert with coffee or tea. Worth every penny!

The perfect cheap cruise on the Seine to see Paris from another perspective. An absolute must! Take a seat in the back & walk along the back of the boat for great photo ops! Slightly longer tour than others provide with pre-recorded multi language commentary on the intercom but easily ignored. Recommended for day photos or just before sunset for those golden hour photos. Easily buy tickets online with a year expiration date & go anytime during your visit, beyond easy!

It’s world renowned, the meal is a very good standard. However, I wouldn’t class it as fine dining standards. Although that isn’t the main highlight, the views of Paris at night are unforgettable. This is accompanied by a pianist and violinist playing classical. You just can’t beat that. It’s something I will never forget. Service was prompt and the waiters were very friendly.

Good for 99 euros a head... take a bistro and a metro ticket... if not, do like me, dress up with your lady and enjoy your navigation on the Seine!!!! Overall it was a very nice experience and we enjoyed the evening. The food was fairly good. The only issue with me was that I had made my order before leaving the dock and when server came back, they brought me the wrong plate and when I explained that it was not what I ordered they told me that "it's already done and i should take it" but for the price I paid and the expectations was I wanted to eat what i ordered and not just whatever they brought out for me.

Short round but very nice and efficient.... We enjoyed it. It was raining so it was nice break in the middle of the day but it is better to sit on the top of the boat where you can see better. Also it is recommended to replace the tour recording - it is a little old fashion and not pleasant to listen to.

The ride was super short, the speakers were too quiet, so we couldn't hear the descriptions of the places we were passing. It was a little disorganised without a clear queue to get in the boat. On a positive note, the ice-cream stall while waiting for the boat had great artisanal ice-cream with lots of flavour choices.

Cheap, average food, definitely not worth 70 €, if you expect good food, go somehwere else. Cruise was okay. Also the people do not speaks English there, we didn't know where to go, asked 3 employees and they did not speak English at all! The only people speaking English were by the ticket office where you have to go to PRINT your tickets and get the menu. Welcome to modern world.

Nice ride on the Seine but the boats are way too packed and the welcome and seating is terribly disorganized. Also you can barely hear the commentary and it's hard to take pictures with people just standing all around. Meh overall.

Not the poshest boats on the river, but we needed a company with good accessibility and they had it. Can't fault them at all. They were friendly and helpful and the tour covered all the sights. Food was overcooked, and yet cold. Veal was served well done and flavorless. Was given a table that constantly was unbalanced over the engine. The interior lights were so bright it was hard to see the sites at we went by. I do not recommend. Overall reviews rating is misleading at it's mixed in with reviews if just boat cruises without the meal.
