Homestyle food in an upscale environment. I was glad to get vegetables with my protein for my main, eating creamy proteins meal after meal does get old.

(Translated by Google) It is a special place where you put down your bag and your day's traces to recharge your batteries around the tastes of your childhood. Stéphane, the server is subtly present to perfect this moment and let us taste with surprise marinated herring with caramel pork. We leave light with the taste buds bewitched. A big thank you to chef Mathieu and nice continuation!! And a little trip to the toilet is part of the "must do" before leaving!

It’s like home indeed. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, great service and I loved the walls of the toilets! TOP! I only took the pic of the dessert, but everything was good! Strongly recommend.

A cosy place with home cooked food, like the name says, made by the friendly sole proprietor who also takes the order and serves the food.

As you walk into the restaurant you are immediately reminded of the warm smells of your mothers kitchen, but you are also intimately familiar with the quiet in the air as if you have just told your father you’re majoring in something deleterious to your future livelihood such as the classics. It’s with this stillness the meal is delivered, each course pushing you further into the comfort of a home cooked meal. One so comfortable and quaint you can’t help but dig further into the wonders of the greats. Each bit opening a new chapter in a dusty book that soothes the existential soul. Fabulous meal, but would do with a little bit of music.

Really lovely place that is, just like the name says, being at someone's home. An excellent evening with delicious food. Good value too. Definitely recommended.

Just had a wonderful experience at "C'est comme à la maison"! The welcome was direct and the service was top-notch. 🌟 The cozy and clean decoration made us feel right at home. 😊 The atmosphere is so charming; we love it! As for the dishes, the terrine was good, although it could use a tad more seasoning. The Ki Ha Farz was delicious, made with quality ingredients, but a bit more seasoning would elevate it even more. 🍽️ In conclusion, it's a lovely spot for a lunch in the heart of Paris. 💖 We appreciate the concept and enjoyed our time here. Will definitely be back! 🥂

We had a memorable meal at CCALM. The restaurant is very small, one room with 14 seats total, all inside though open to the street. It is in an alley with very few cars passing, thus quiet. The menu is very small and the dishes are simple so our group of four ended up having about everything on it. My top favorite across courses was the house pickled herring appetizer -- outstanding taste and consistency. Even the pickier person in our group enjoyed their chicken with squash and tried the others' dishes. The desserts were okay but not great. The service was very attentive, friendly and genuine without interrupting our table conversation. Slices of baguette for the cheese and cold tap water kept coming. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth returning.

Best hidden gem in the heart of le marais . Great price and high quality of produce. Everything home made which is rare nowadays. Very cosy friendly vibe, the chef speaks perfect English . It is often fully booked so best to make a reservation.

I can't stress how much my wife and I enjoyed ourselves at CCALM the other night. It was the last meal we had on our 4 week honeymoon across Europe, so the bar had been raised quite a bit, and it turned out to be the best dinning experience either of had ever had. The food, while simple, was delicious and made with a level of care I have never witnessed, and as a cook, inspired me yo do better. Matthew is a madman, in the best possible way, taking the sole role of host, server, chef, and ultimately dishwasher. A true labor of love. He was a wonderful host, and took the time to explain everything, and gave great wine suggestions, even while preparing the rest of the restaurants meals. Just an overall good guy, who we ended up chatting with long after all the other patrons had left. Thank you so much for the amazing meal, and I hope you keep it up, so we can come back someday!

My wife and I have just had the most remarkable meal we have had since in Paris. Matthew the chef was wonderful and welcoming and treated us as if we were being treated to an exceptional home meal. And that was exactly how it felt. The food was delicious the service warm and the entire night a huge success. Thank Matthew, Stephan and C'est Comme a la Maisson.

If I could give this restaurant more stars I would. I love the concept, the food, the chef/owner Matthieu and the love and passion he showed in his servings. He was a fabulous host for me and my girlfriend and we had a great time in his restaurant. This is a beautiful down to earth experience and we definitely felt at home. The dishes are made with the best ingredients, very simple servings yet very tasty and at a very affordable price. This honest cook deserves 5 stars and more. Thank you Matthieu. See you again soon ✨

Even though I travel often to Paris there are moments of hesitation dining alone when my grasp of the french language isn't strong. If you ever have those feelings don't....just take yourself to Ccalm. Not only will you be warmly greeted regardless of what language you speak, you will without a doubt have THE BEST meal of your entire trip. From the service, to the food (OMG the food!) to the atmosphere it truly is the best. Counting down the days till I get to enjoy a meal here again. See you soon CCALM!

Discovered this place while walking through Marais. Only a handful of tables and a small menu, both of which are usually a good indicator that the food has to be great. And it was. Chez Matthew and Stefan provided personalized service for us and our three young children. The food was spectacular - fresh, light, and flavorful. The wine was great and reasonably priced by the bottle. The menu was modified slightly for our young children and both us and the kids felt it was one of our most enjoyable meals during our 3+ week stay in Paris. Highly recommnded!

What a unique and incredible place Chef Matthieu has created with CCALM. We decided to try all three entrées to start and what an experience; the tuna mayo which consisted mainly of super fresh tuna and grapefruit mixed together in a gorgeous, simple serving was.. un-complicated in its flavor and yet SO delicious. Along with this, we had the watermelon salad with feta which was amazing and so flavourful. We finished the entrées off with the famous herrings which, being Danes ourselves we’ve had our fair share of at home, turned out to be some of the best herring we’d ever had. Perfect serving with delicious pickled onions, buttery potatoes and creme fraiche of some sort - amazing! For the main we both had the salad with gizzard - we both don’t eat pork which was the second option of the menu of the day - which also was incredible. The meat was super flavourful and so well balanced with the fresh leafy greens, cooked potatoes and the lentil side. Wine was super affordable and very delicious and had we not been so full, we would have opted for the creme brulée without hesitation. An absolute gem with a wonderful, warm and welcoming chef and owner - who was also our waiter for the evening, making it all very personal and perfectly informal and cozy - with what turned out to be a charming and inspiring background. We will be making a mandatory visit to CCALM for all future trips to Paris.

This is a cosy restaurant that serves reasonably prized delicious food .. Matthieu is very helpful in explaining the menu and also helps in recommending wines to go with your dish . Is dining in Paris intimidating? Well, definitely not in this tiny gem of a restaurant! PS The chocolate mousse is so good !!!

😐 Granted, setting and mood are nice. Staff is, for the most part, friendly’ish. Food was average, in other words, rather disappointing. I tried all dishes but I had the pizza, it was lukewarm, chewy and could barely hold together towards the center as it was so moist. I wouldn’t go again but that’s...
