We had two days stay at marutham village resort, it was awesome experience. Very relaxing, you can feel calm and peace there. Very happy to took my 3 year old daughter to this resort. Lots of activities are here, everything was good. Food taste was too good, we liked it so much.service was good. i strongly recommend this place to everyone.

I've now been to this place twice. It's a very beautiful South Indian themed resort that helps you connect with nature. There are domestic animals that kids can feed and pet, there's an olden style swimming pool and a pump set for water games. They arrange early morning short treks across fields and bullock cart rides as well. The beautiful rangolis outside every room adds to the ethnic charm of the place. The food was very good. The first time we went there was lovely music playing at night with live counters along the street serving food items like panniyaram. Overall a beautiful place worth visiting!

The overall experience we had in Marutham Village resort was exceptional. Be it the cleanliness maintained within the resort or the food they offer or the ever smiling staffs adds great value. We visited the resort during the Pongal holidays and it turned out to be memorable experience. Actually it was my third visit. Every single visit had been a memorable one. This time the pongal celebrations in the resort was so meticulously planned and it was executed under the watchful eye of the owners. They themselves were so humble and down to earth. We really enjoyed the holidays. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to unwind themselves from the city life and to indulge themselves in village atmosphere. Special mention about Mr.Rosario, Manager Mr. Perumal, Restaurant in charge Mr. Dinakaran, House Keeping Mr. Naveen and other one from Trichy, Kitchen Mr. Parameshwaran and Ms. Preethi And others too… I could not recall other names. All of them are exceptional, dedicated and ever smiling. Actually the resort is gifted to have such a professional and dedicated staff. Kudos to the entire team. Definitely try their Mutton Biryani, prawn fry, vanjaram fry, chicken kothu parrota and mutton kari dosa too. They were delectable. I have a few suggestions to make to improvise the experience Firstly they should keep Handwash in rooms instead of a soap. Secondly instead of French fries and banjo during the snack time u can try offering Sundal, kozhikattai, vazhaipoo vadai etc. which may look authentic and suit the village ambience. Some soups such as manathakali and some other soups shall be provided for dinner. Slots for the swimming pool has been removed. I would suggest to bring that back, as it would provide privacy and prevent crowding. And to make caps and swimsuits compulsory for men and women. Bullock cart ride was very average. I was expecting a decorated kind of a cart which we used to see in the movies. Also you may restrict the day outing u provide in the resort. During the pongal holidays there too many day outing guests, who have completely occupied the activity area, which really deprived the in-house guests from experiencing the activities provided. We chose certain places to unwind ourselves from city life. I request the management to keep that in mind and restrict the day outing.

very nice retreat with a village environment. Stayed for just one day! Place kept neat and tidy. Everyone working there are very polite and respond immediately. An awesome food! Enjoyed through the day! Lots of activities. Kids too enjoyed quite a lot with the activities esp with animals and with pumpset, waterfalls and tank!!

Perfect getaway from city life. 2 day stay made memorable with lot of activities giving a taste of what we miss with hectic lifestyle. Bullock Cart rides, pump set, traditional activities, folk dance etc along with food in carts and traditional setting makes the stay unforgettable.

Pros Very good village resort. All the activities are good. Service was good. Kids really enjoy pump set and swimming pool . Food are like home made . Very good hospitality. Cons Drinking water every time we go to hotel and fill the water in bottle. Food is good but costly. single Chappati 70 rupees . Suggestions: If possible reduce the food cost and other unwanted expenses more middle class people also coming to this resort.

Marutham Village Resort is a very nice rural retreat. Tastefully decorated cottages and restaurant, poolside and activities made our stay enjoyable. Best part of the stay was the delicious food prepared lovingly by chef Mr Kumar and team of serving staff . Evening food kart gave a lovely ambience of street food in villages. The outdoor space with farmlands and animals was soothing and the night sky with nature’s light and sound show with lightening and thunder added a bit of excitement. Only constructive feedback for management is about bathrooms which need to be accessible and “elder friendly “ with handle bars and soap shelf and hooks to hang clothes outside of wet areas . Overall , Marutham Village resorts was a lovely and memorable stay in Mammallapuram .

We had my Mom's 80th Birthday celebration at the resort. We booked the whole resort. The staff were friendly. The food was very good. The service was excellent. Everyone in our group enjoyed. The only downside is it is not suitable for elderly and disabled . They can have atleast couple of facilities wheelchair accessible.

Lovely lovely and another word LOVELY. All city dwellers must get yourself and your kids to stay in this super awesome location. Learn many unknown things about our history and culture. Enjoy the cultural dances and dance along. But pure vegetarians beware, this place offers non-vegetarian food too.

What a fantastic stay we had in Marutham Village Resort - You can feel like a village surrounded by greenery. Very calm place pollution free environment. Restaurant staff have been more helpful and friendly "Elaya perumal" supported very well. The food taste was very nice and you can feel like home made👌. Room are very neat and clean. Outdoor - Pumpset experience is very nice and i remembered my childhood memories👌. The swimming pool and waterfall was very neat and they maintained well 👏👏. Cow and goat feeding also very nice. 🐄 Ghoshala they maintained very neat and clean which I had never seen. Pottery making is a very nice and they appointed one person to teach you how to do it. Likewise palm tree leave craft work also can be done in the same place. Finally evening dinner thallu vandi experience wow 😲 experience. I have never ever seen you can get kothu parathas both veg and non veg, kari dosai, kalakki, dosa, idly idiyappam with coconut milk and Chinese and thandoori items with lovely music you can have dinner. Good things is they using veg and non veg counter seperately. Really I have enjoyed lots and lots. Keep doing good service. Thanks 🙏

I strongly recommend people to try this resort. Best place for IT people to relax. 0.5 % also you no need to worry about the safety and food. Weekend is the best time to visit the place.
