Ambattur OT Bus Stand is just Average - Not well maintained, No Proper Guidances & Control. No Water and Toilet facilities and Police is not Doing their Duties and discharging their Responsibilities. A lot of Buses ply very often when Crowd is not there and at peak times a few Buses are running. No Scientific study and Professionalism are used in deciding the Bus frequencies. This leads to Heavy Losses to The State and Heavy Sufferings to Public. Bus Timing Controllers are not properly Trained and Time Study and Public Gains are studied. This is prevalent in all Bus stands. Totally the Buses are not Scientifically run. Only Political manavourings are done by all Ruling parties. A lot and high Scopes are there to turn these Bus Operators to Profits in very short times.

Old Town ambatur. It connects many roots from avadi to kotambedu and tambaram. Has four platfors and few bus routes start from here. Surrounded is market with all amenities available. Industrial estate is another area where many small and large scale companies are functioning.

The main bus stand nearby all small places around ambattur. It includes tea stalls, flower shops, pharmacies, etc. Timings may differ accordingly with the traffic but announcement and help desk are here to guide the people and many places are connected with the normal and mini bus service. Here we have a police booth near the bus terminus. Auto stand facilities are also here.

It's a small bus stand with few bus routes are operated here. But helpful to people who want to commute to the city side. People use this bus stand as road as well. So sometimes it's quite dangerous for pedestrians. Need to watch carefully and walk in between.

Most crowded place in weekdays... only 15to20 people can sit in waiting area .. you can get koyembedu,Tambaram, broadway buses frequently... share auto also available nearby bus stand... Bus timing board are damaged need to fix

Worst traffic place. Fast Idiatic rides by common men makes others unable to feel safe.

I am near ambattur OT bus stand and this is very Small and accommodate only three or four buses and it has to be expanded to accommodate more buses as it is a very vital bus stand and buses are going to different parts of the city including vellore and kancheepuram

You can go most of the places across chennai city, it would be better if we have busses for other locations like Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu.

Well cleaned place but there is one problem in this bus stand, many bus won't Stop in the bus stand they only stop Singapore shopping bus stop it nearly takes 800 meters we have to walk to the Ambattur bus stand

Road parking area is dangerous to the passengers as well as bus in unorganised public walking in road...all platform Encroachment by shop & hotels... kindly compliant to GCC/GCTP for solution...

Could have been even better if the space is organised better with public parking and roadside shops. Heavy traffic is happening around here due to improper parking

Worst bus stand in Chennai outskirts with very low frequency of buses. This bus stand will tempt you to use private vehicles like share auto, uber. Ola etc.

Limited seats are provided in the stand. The place becomes messy in rainy times. Be alert and watch out, since there will always be traffic around the day.

Can't call it as a Bus Stand, just a parking place with shed for MTC buses, no basic amenities available. Open area without compound walls, hence its just an open parking place only..

A busy place always and this is a junction hosting lot of commercial shops for middle class people.Fruits,hotels, textiles and all other home needs can be bought here. Area is very busy on Sundays.

I have been with this place for past 40years...no much damage has been done to this place... still I can see what I saw 40years back. Only pain is, it used to be a very decent area... not I see totally different attitude... absolutely no respect

Great terminus...well maintained. Only con is it doesn't have 2 way entry....u must take a round about from next stop of opposite side

We have multiple frequent buses to reach all places in Chennai City... Also two more bus service for Vellore and kanchipuram destinations.

No sign board available to find bus routes.. This stop having many diverse routes available which cannot understand new persons and common man... Also time keeper given false alarm (to vavin Signal, he said koyambedu bus).. it's not keeper issue.. Also there is no speed breaker available at both entry and exit which leads many cars and two wheelers just crossed own speed .. Bus also.. Poor Management

Busy place, be careful while crossing the roads, buses coming inside rashly, always crowded be alert for your personnel belongings such as mobile and purses.

Maintenance required . Public damaging it. Lot of peoples spitted on the road and some buses too. Pls maintain . Crowed with lot of shops. Via to avadi

For the traffic this place witnesses, it's kept clean. There is Mani kadai (shop). You get hot Vada and idli at 3 am, may be early also. There are steady stream of people coming at that time too First time in my life had Vada around 3:15 am 😮 Good foot falls even at that time of the day

Ok busstand. Mostly clean not like other busstands.Oldest busstand in Ambattur. Congested due to many shops and streets very close by

It was once upon a time stand of buses 40, 47D, which starts from OT. Which was very useful for office goers and shopping people. Now 41D & 147c starts from here shelter is too height cannot stand in heavy rain times could be provided for stand of some route bus like to koyambedu and KMC. Generally to be maintained neatly. Police booth persons could control trafficking and auto two wheeler parking and school students & ITI students atrocities . Beggers could be sheltered in their homes instead of using the Bus stand as their home.

It can be maintained in a better way. No rest room. Seats fixed for waiting passengers should be neat. Does not look like a Bus terminus at all

It was good. It could be improve and traffic signal very helpful sometimes to a long line of vehicles that cannot move forward because there is too much traffic, or because the road is blocked by something.

Seats at the bus station are damaged. It's a common way for buses n civilians, so entrance and exits are little crowded

Ambattur bus stand is very fast developing area surrounded by higher sec schools banks good nursing home big vegetable market,jewellery,theatre temples etc etc.main bus terminal to cater koyambedu Tambaram Redhills poonamallee.very close to Ambattur railway station.having police booth and also public toilet.monthly pass issue also under taken for bus passenger.time office for informing arrival departure of buses available.for senior citizens issuing 6 month pass consisting 10 tkts per month for bus journey upto local limit in city buses.this is free of cost.This job is carried at the o.t.bus stand where monthly pass issued.
