I am updating my original review because I used to advocate for this salon and tell everyone I know to go here, but I will not any longer. All my dark undertones are gone. What is left is red. I specifically asked the stylist for cool undertones. I stated several times that I did not want any red undertones. In fact I told her I hated red. I feel like she didn't listen to me at all. I understand how toner works that it simply deposits color onto your hair. I have been getting my hair colored for several years. I have never had someone completely ruin my dark undertones with toner. This is very upsetting and I am not happy in the least bit. I have never been more disappointed about a hair service in my life. I know it's hair and it will grow back, but the stylist's attitude and the stylist manager’s attitude made me feel like I was overreacting and they didn’t care. Finally, my scalp is still very irritated and itchy. Again, I have been to this salon for many years and had my hair colored with their products and never had a reaction. When the second round of toner was applied to my hair my scalp was on fire. Again, it didn't seem like anyone really cared that I was talking about the irritation. They still charged me for a cut and color I absolutely hated. However, to their credit they did offer to fix my hair. I will not be coming back into the salon for a fix. Quite frankly I don't know how they would fix it, I don't trust them to fix it, and I don't want any more chemicals on my hair or scalp. I don't feel like anyone cared about what I was saying. I felt like I was being talked down to when I was told "how toner works". Like this was my first time at a salon or my first time getting my hair colored. I am very disappointed. I have never experienced such bad customer service at this salon. I will not be returning.

I could not be happier! I got a balayage from Lexi Anzelone and it turned out BEAUTIFUL, she matched my vision 100% and made my hair look exactly how I’d wanted! She then did a men’s cut on my boyfriend and made him look clean and handsome. PLUS she’s so kind and easy to talk to! 10/10 for lexi!

This place is truly wonderful, fron the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you feel valued. Their customer service is truly wonderful. Julianna the hair stylist I had was super helpful, did a great job. My hair feels so fresh. She answered all my questions and really did a great job. Thank you so much for all your help. I will definitely be back.

Vanessa was amazing! I have a lot of salmon anxiety because of a bad stylist experience, at a different salon, post-quarantine. Vanessa was so kind and eased a lot of my anxiety without even knowing it. I have wavy hair and when she styled it post-cut I didn't have to ask her to make it wavy (I don't like blowouts on me and have left many salons with a wet head because the stylist refused to stray from a classic blowout), she just did! The atmosphere at Charles Morris is always a 10/10. All staff are super friendly. Every service I've had by them is perfect. Highly recommend Charles Morris!

Love my hair! Liz was thorough and attentive to what I wanted from the color to the cut! Overall Charles Morris salon is extremely clean, bright, and welcoming. They also had little snacks at their color bar along with coffee, tea, and water options to drink, which is definitely appreciated! 5/5 rating from me!

Shout out to Juliana for doing a spectacular job on my hair! She did a tone, highlights, and trim for me. I have only seen her twice but I am so grateful for the care she puts into her art. My hair feels smooth and healthy again! Thank youuuu 💖

I love this salon! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I'm a petite person and I used to dread having my hair washed in the sink. At this salon, they have a raised sink and reclining chairs to minimize straining and wetness. I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely loved my first visit. I went in looking to get hair extensions installed and Ethqn was such a huge help. He promised me something and flawlessly executed the idea. Thank you so much and will definitely be coming back.!

She was great! My hair turned out so nice and helped me find products that would keep my hair moisturized! I love how she cut my hair, my hair is extremely long and thick and she did amazing work! Thank you!!!

All the staff at CMS is amazing!! I always feel so welcomed by staff when at the salon. Lizzy always does an amazing job with my hair. It always feels so soft and healthy even after a full highlight and toner. She always makes sure we are on the same page before starting and makes sure I am happy before leaving. I get compliments about my hair all the time. 2 appointments ago I had a family emergency during my appointment and Lizzy did everything she could to get me home ASAP AND with beautiful hair.

My daughter got her nails done and her hair. The nail technician, Joey was super nice, took her time with her and recommended beautiful colors. For hair we had Alisa - she was super sweet, asked my daughter questions and gave great suggestions. She also got some tinsels in her hair - they look amazing!!

Amanda does an amazing job! Makes you feel at home when you sit in her chair! Showed her a picture, she created and gave suggestions on how to make it better!

Staff is outstanding! I felt so welcomed and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. I was given a gift card for a whirlpool pedicure. The way it was described to me was not quite what I experienced but overall it was satisfying. No designs or glitter 🤷🏾‍♀️. Joey is phenomenal and if I could afford it I would be a regular.

Amanda is AMAZING... I always leave the salon with my hair looking exactly how I want it and feeling great. She's amazing at what she does and an incredibly kind person. All the staff is wonderful here. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Vanessa did a fantastic job! She offered different style, ideas, and ways to style that best suited me. Appreciated her taking time to understand what I was looking for in a hair style. Never been to a Salon however, I will return using Vanessa. Like any business you need people who know their business. Venessa is very professional and can tell she knows the hair style profession very well.

Ell is super sweet, and so good with the little ones. As a fellow mom herself, I knew she would know just how to make my toddler’s haircut experience a positive and tear-free one! The cut was just right and we love the cute little braid she made with our daughter’s front side bang that’s usually in her face a lot. But thanks to some helpful tips and showing me different ways to work with my daughter’s tricky part, I can now try new things with her hair too! I highly recommend taking your kids to Ell!

I love Charles Morris Salon. Extremely professional and pleasant people. My stylist Lizzy is the bomb. This girl does exactly what you ask every single time. It’s nice to have a salon so close, professional and all the glam. ♥️♥️

At first I liked my hair when I was in the salon, but then when I got home and styled my hair I realized just how messed up it was. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed. To the credit of this salon they did offer to “fix” it but I didn’t trust that they could. The stylists was very friendly but I don’t believe it was done correctly, my highlights on one side were blended, the other side was chunky and none of them went to the root. I also paided for a toner but my hair was yellow and looked like it was weeks old. I would suggest if you are going to go to the salon you pay for a higher level stylists because the stylists who are starting out here don’t have the skills they should. When looking at the pictures remember this is the next day.

Everyone is so kind and friendly here! My first time, and just walking in the door they are so welcoming and the atmosphere is homey and very comfortable. Ashely cut my hair and did exactly what I wanted and even recommended some products. I can’t wait to come back!

I had the best experience with Lizzy. I literally rolled in on a knee scooter. Lizzy was delightful and so patient as it took me a little more time to get in and out of chairs. She took her time washing my hair and listened to what I wanted with color and trim. The front desk gals are also so sweet.

Audrey does a great job. I used to see Ell, who I loved, but Audrey takes even more time to make sure the color and cut is perfect. She changed up my color formula a little bit and uses a toner, which makes my color much better.
