!!! AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS !!!! $ 25 for a shower! Pilot is well-known for price gouging Class A operators, but this branch takes the thievery to a whole new level. It's like shopping at an Airport, without the joy of someone else transporting you. The shower is small, trash left in the can and someone's shave grime was left in the sink. The locations that charge 30-40% less also notify you when your shower is ready. This place wants you to stare at a screen, but they don't tell you that until you figure out something is up. Close to the highway exit, a large station with plenty of area to pull in and out of. Pumps were fast and newer. The station seemed like it just underwent a rush shortly before we got there and while the bathrooms and convenience area were clean they could have used a touch up. Everything was fully stocked and we were able to be in and out quickly. Also has a McDonald’s and subway attached inside the building.

A great big THANK YOU to Darlene, the night manager at Pilot. Wonderfully kind and helpful lady. I was driving my just off the lot Vulcan from Carol Stream Illinois to visit my mother in Saginaw Michigan over the 4th of July holiday. Oil presure light came on in Burns Harbor Indiana so I quickly stopped at the Pilot station on Melton Road just off the expressway. Checked my oil and the level was good and couldn't see any leaks. Odd. The station manager Darlene was so helpful directing me to the local Kawaskai dealer, Thomas Honda & Kawasaki and allowing me to park my motorcycle in their lot overnight while waiting for other businesses to open after the holiday and to get a tow. Helped me find some supplies I would need for the overnight stay, bought me a cup of coffee and generally was just so helpful to a stranded traveller. What a great person to have attending your business and taking care of your customers. Thanks Darlene!

I honestly cannot give it a 5 star for one reason and that’s it’s extremely pricey. Showers are an ABSURD 25$ for a basic human need… They really are ripping off the drivers. Outside of that it’s mostly nice and clean there is a subway and McDonald’s and decent semi parking.

Good 24 hour truck stop and gas station. Has subway and McDonalds as well as wide variety of other hot food. Lots of gas and Diesel pumps, RV dump station, overnight parking. Nice and clean.

Very good travel stop, they have a McDonalds as well as Subway onsite. Quite a good collection of travel goodies. Petrol dispensing pumps are new and in good condition. The travel stop is pretty accessible from the highway Definitely recommend a travel stop here if you need one.

Fantastic! Whenever I road trip the USA I chose to fuel up at Pilot. This place showcases why... Clean restrooms, full squeegee buckets & paper towel dispensers, even potted flowers between the pumps!
