Visited
the
Pilikula
Biological
Park
in
Mangalore,
and
I
must
say
that
while
it
has
the
potential
to
be
a
great
zoological
park,
it
currently
falls
short
in
many
aspects.
The
park
boasts
a
variety
of
animals,
including
lions,
tigers,
crocodiles,
hippopotamuses,
deer,
and
bears,
which
are
the
main
attractions.
However,
the
limited
number
of
animals
is
disappointing,
and
I
hope
to
see
more
species
added
in
the
future.
One
of
the
major
drawbacks
of
the
park
is
the
poor
amenities
and
badly
maintained
facilities.
The
overall
cleanliness
and
upkeep
of
the
park
need
significant
improvement.
It
is
essential
for
a
zoological
park
to
provide
a
clean
and
well-maintained
environment
to
ensure
the
well-being
of
the
animals
and
the
satisfaction
of
visitors.
To
navigate
the
park,
an
electric
car
is
available
for
a
fee
of
100
rupees
per
person.
While
this
is
a
convenient
option,
it
adds
an
additional
cost
to
the
visit.
Alternatively,
visitors
can
opt
for
a
3-kilometer
walk
within
the
park,
which
can
be
tiring
for
some,
especially
considering
the
hot
weather
conditions.
The
entry
ticket
price
of
80
rupees
per
person
seems
reasonable,
considering
the
limited
offerings
currently
available.
The
park
is
situated
away
from
busy
town
around
15
kilometers.
Overall,
the
Pilikula
Biological
Park
has
potential,
but
there
is
a
lot
of
room
for
improvement.
I
would
recommend
focusing
on
expanding
the
variety
of
animals,
enhancing
the
maintenance
of
the
facilities,
and
providing
better
amenities
for
visitors.
With
these
improvements,
the
park
could
become
a
more
enjoyable
and
worthwhile
experience
for
both
locals
and
tourists
alike
