Yesterday September 9 I was there and a lady looks like not normal health issues came with swimming suit and filled a cart with lots of clothes and jewelry walked out with out paying. Security officers were by the door talked to her but did NOTHING. I asked a lady why and was told store policy. What a STUPID store policy. If they do NOTHING why are the security officers by the enterance ? They can’t call police either????? If they do NOTHING why do you need security guards? This is the most outrageous thing I saw in my life.

I am beyond livid so I went shopping this weekend at both TJ Maxx locations 8600 Ward Parkway KCMO and 1640 NW Chipman Rd Lee Summit MO. They give you the option to recieve receipt by email or paper ( I have found it helpful and used this feature often) this time when I selected both it ask for your phone number (WHY) if I am requesting by email & paper so I put in phone number it located my email. Cool not thinking anything I barely made it to my car then I started get this calls from numbers that are not recognized back to back non stop. I have been blocking numbers since yesterday OBVIOUSLY you sold my number or something happened and I'm T'd....😡📲

Needed a rain coat walked in found it walked out in 10 minutes. Love the the saved. They always have what I need.

It's ok. Good deals but trying on clothes they treat you like a criminal with their process

Marquiose was AMAZING! He greeted us as a friend and I entered and asked if we needed help finding anything. We had a short conversation and then continued on to shop. When we were ready to check out, he was our cashier and was SO friendly and just a breath of fresh air. Not only is he a great manager but the atmosphere he had in the store was infectious. We will definitely be back to shop soon!

I can always find great items. The prices are amazing, and you can count on them having wonderful clearance items for those on a budget.

REALLY nice store, well stocked, merchandise in order and not unorganized and all over the floor. Staff was not imposing but helpful when needed. This was my first visit but I DEFINITELY plan on being coming back to this location.

My first time at this location. Nice selection of merchandise through out the store. Nice baby department: if you need something or a baby gift. I believe I went to almost every department. Friendly staff, women's dressing room easy access. Easy check out, very nice & helpful cashier. Easy access for handicap parking, right out front. Recommend stopping in, you will enjoy this location.

Fantastic place for budget oriented shopping! I bought puma running shoes for 48$ which is quite a good deal. And a couple of good party wear/date kind shirts each for 13$. Good value for money.

Very busy when we were there 6 cash registers but only 2 people working. 20 customers in line when we left. Exits blocked up with carts. See photos. Good location plenty of parking.

One of my favorite stores! So sad I am moving and I can't find a TJMaxx in my new town.

Bought me a few hoodies I liked, 4 bottles of different Addidas cologne, a nice jade/pearl necklace...I was there on the humbug so everything I got was cool...

This location is hit or miss, plus the loss prevention people here need to really get real jobs. They stopped me and my girl on the way outa the store trying to say we were steeling things when id just spent over $300.00 checking out.... smh i mean really? Makes very little sense to me.

TJ Maxx used to have great selections back in the day. With sooo many discount retail stores available now make their inventory seem less desirable. You can get the same items for less elsewhere and the brands they carry aren't modern trendy ones either Best place for a great looking purse and pocket book tho
